BNP leader Nick Griffin could lose Euro seat as party faces bankruptcy

Porky Griffin: nearly bankrupt - again!
Griffin could lose Euro seat as party faces bankruptcy

BNP leader Nick Griffin faces being axed as a Euro MP as he fights to avoid bankruptcy over his party's soaring cash crisis. He is among top officials thought to be personally liable for the racist group's £700,000 debts - which it admits it cannot pay. Anyone made bankrupt is legally barred from being an MP or Euro MP.

The BNP's money woes were laid bare by ex-chief fundraiser James Dowson in a letter seen by the Mirror. Mr Dowson told North-East printers who produced its newsletter that the finances were like "a shipwreck".

He added: "Cash is in very short supply... [it is] impossible for the BNP and persons associated with it to pay outstanding bills in anything like a normal timescale, if indeed at all." The "very grave" crisis meant it could only pay 20% of what it owed, he added.

Its money problems have been made worse by having to settle a legal row after illegally using Marmite in an ad and the cost of fighting the Equality and Human Rights Commission over its whites-only admission rules. Meanwhile, electoral chiefs are still probing its 2008 accounts as they contain gaps that breach the law.

The BNP's debt meltdown comes amid a spate of defections and expulsions. Mr Dowson and media officer Paul Golding have left while campaigns chief Eddy Butler and London Assembly member Richard Barnbrook were recently expelled.

Mr Griffin was not responding to our requests for a comment last night.

Three things

1/. If Cyclops is given the boot who takes his place ? Presumably the next Nutzie on the list.

2/. If there are outstanding bills presumably the election expenses account was fraudulantly submitted. And this should disqualify every BNP candidate.(National spend account) Come on Electorial Commission, do your duty.

3/. Cyclops / Dowson rapidly dump all legal resonsibility onto some gullible sucker so that they are in the clear and Cyclops is able to continue soaking up the free gravy on his train ride through the EU.

"Come on Electorial Commission, do your duty."

Somehow they always seem to have avoided doing their duty where the BNP is concerned.

The prospect of getting re-elected to the Euro parliament is the only thing stopping Griffin from walking away from the BNP. If he loses that then it really is curtains.

The National Press is starting to publicise the BNP money problems. I only hope that this doesn't lead to dupes starting to contribute again. It could be a double-edged sword for us.

Looking at the state of cyclops on that picture i think the fast bastard would have exploded by xmas anyway.Ive heard he's tried the cambridge diet but ended up eating half of oxford.

Loks like Griffin's got his corset on in the pic...

Griffin has already been made bankrupt several years ago, so this story is a bit misleading, it hasnt stopped him being made an MEP so i think the Mirrors pedictions are slightly off target

There's an interesting comment from Adrian Davies on BDF

"Gri££in won't lose his seat if he is merely made bankrupt. Things need to go a stage further. The Court would have to make what is called a Bankruptcy Restriction Order in his case. They are reserved for really bad boys. The kind of bankrupt who cannot account for £1,600,000 of donations solicited from poor people, or who has been selling life memberships to a party that he knows is insolvent, or who recklessly incurs further debts while already insolvent, or conceals assets in the names of family members. That sort of thing . . ."

If this happens it will be an early Xmas present, let's hope he get the boot very soon?

Dear God, please oh please can you fix it so this fat disgusting excuse of a human being gets further humiliated and ends up with sweet fuck all to show for it. What a bloody wonderful Christmas this could be indeed if he gets shown up as the scum he is!

Good point from Adrian Davies
but if the creditors and the insolvency practices take a look even today at the bottom of the BNPs website it is still offering life membership for £395 as a limited offer this is both taking money under false pretense and fraud as the party could be wound up next week and where is the money going if it does come in ? Look at it like one of these tour operators that takes hundreds of peoples money days before they fold for package deals knowing full well they cant supply the goods. This is where it all went down hill for the gullible members of the bnp as soon as griffin opened the door to the walter mitty crook called jim dowson.griffin liked what he was hearing from this con man which was money, money, money and the fools well whats left of them will probably be handing over their money next week outside the high court as griffin cant afford his pheasant and nest of quail eggs for the griffin clan for christmas.I hate to say suckers but there are going to be a lot of people that were hypnotised by griffin walking round with very long faces in the new year.

Bear in mind that Nick Griffin's dad Edgar Griffin is an accountant, so don't be surprised if there's a big difference between the tale of woe that the BNP try to get their creditors to believe and the actual financial situation behind the scenes. Nick Griffin runs an English language school called CL English Language with his business partner, Italian terrorist Roberto Fiore, and an employment and accommodation agency called Easy London, aka Londra Facile, aka Vacasnza Lavoro - which both ironically promote foreign immigration into the UK and profit from giving British homes and jobs to foreign workers!

If memory serves one of the newspapers did a Companies House on CL English and found the directors listed as Roberto Fiore and Cyclops' parents Edgar and Jean Griffin. CL was clearly turning over huge sums, but, for the benefit of the tax-man, declaring profits of only a few thousand per year - ditto probably with the BNP. My guess is Griffin's hiding his money in Italy.

My info on this is a bit out of date but last time I checked CL English had just vacated a large premises (in Westminster Bridge Road, down smoke, which was subsequently squatted) but still had another huge building at 264 Northfields Ave, also in London. They closed the CL English website after Griffin was exposed on You Tube for profiting from immigration, but replaced it with another website called CL Business English, which now seems (?) to have gone off-line as well?!

In April 2009 the Londra Facile website described a language school called The English Studio (which is alive and kicking at 113 High Holborn, London WC1V 6JQ) as "La nuova scuola Easy London", and re-checking Sept 2010 confirms that Londra Facile (the Griffin-Fiore front) still passes students to The English Studio. There are however other language schools Londra Facile pass students to as well, so it's unclear at this stage whether Londra Facile is just acting as an agent for The English Studio, or whether The English Studio is or is not an actual Griffin owned business (if so then presumably a replacement for the old premises in Westminster Bridge Road)? IF it's the latter, then The English Studio is a major concern with several premises bringing in very large sums of money. Either way, I'm sure the Northfields Ave premises and Londra Facile itself are still also bringing in plenty of money.
