The BNP was out in force last weekend in London in what was billed as the first of several national mobilisations in the run up to the London elections in May. However, every report seems to recall a slightly different story.
The first posting was made by Simon Darby on his blog when he reported on the Saturday night that almost 200 people had delivered 100,000 leaflets. Then there were reports on Stormfront on the Sunday that it was actually 250 people. Finally, today, the official BNP website reported 250 over the two days delivered 100,000 leaflets. However, the accompanying photograph of the massed ranks of the party faithful shows just 63 people, and that’s probably being generous.
So the question is who is telling the truth? If one believes Darby then the extra 50 people did not hand out a single leaflet. If the explanation is that the extra 50 people came out on the Sunday then they obviously didn’t hand out a single leaflet.
Searchlight believes that they are all lying. We admit that several wards were covered but the total number of people was considerably fewer than the 250 boasted and only about 35,000 leaflets were distributed.
Of course we shouldn’t expect anything more from the BNP. The event, after all, was just as much for his internal audience to prove that he still has a following. It was also organised by Richard Barnbrook, who recently claimed 25,000 leaflets were delivered in Lewisham shortly before Christmas though the real figure was less than a quarter.

Your all lieing - there were 10,000 volunters out and they delivered 20 million leeflets.
I know, cos I was there.
Afterwards Mr Griffin bought us all a drink and a meal (cos he's so generos)and we all worshiped him as he likes.
Doesn't that photograph prompt gasps of admiration.
Why do they all look as though they are each having something inserted/ removed from some bodily orifice?
If that lot turned up in my street I'd draw the curtains and ring the constabulary!
I heard there were thirty BNP leafletters for every household, every leaflet was made of pure gold and Nick Griffin not only put everyone up in a five-star hotel for the night to say thank you but also put on a live show starring himself and Diva Dicky in a full-drag stage production of HMS Discovery while KKKolletto the KKKlown entertained the kkkids.
"KKKolletto the KKKlown entertained the kkkids"
Jeez, what a thought.
Mrs Potherington- Smythe.
In view of other matters, well reported here should any Nutzie be left in charge of children ?
On a different tack,
100,000 leaflets.
200 volunteers.
=
500 leaflets a head.
Not really believable.
So that photo is of the elite...
Oh Dear...
1.) Dickie is sartorially challenged.
2.) The guys to the left and the right who are they they create a rather negative impression - double glazing salesmen? :-)
If a photo says a thousand words this says just 3 - DON'T VOTE BNP!
"It was also organised by Richard Barnbrook, who recently claimed 25,000 leaflets were delivered in Lewisham shortly before Christmas though the real figure was less than a quarter."
I heard it started out as a whole leaflet, but they suspected that a quarter of the leaflet was state, and that another quarter was from this site, and every good BNP accountant knows three quarters makes a whole, so they only delivered the third quarter.
I promise you that is the true version of events, even though I just made it up.
OK BNP site says 250 people delivered 100k leaflets - 4k per person.
On the basis that it takes just 20secs to go from 1 door to another on average, the average leafleter would have to have spent 22+ hours doing it.
I think not, I almost called them clowns, but I have a lot of repect for CIRCA.
They to me they are being very economical with the actualite!
I wonder if Griffin would allow Barnbrooks new stepchild (remember the balerina everyone?: he's dating her now!) to the meetings or to the RWB festival

Er no, it's 400 each. Very achievable if still a party for wankers
Ooops sorry I was wrong - I can't count, I blame it on rather too much of a bottle of 'Old Git'.
But on that basis however 20secs per leaflet they were only out for 2.2 hour not the 5 they claim.
In their defence though they probably rarely and rightly ever see daylight :-)
OK enough with the high level maths please, you are confusing me.
Fact in Barking & Dagenham they did NOT deliver leaflets to any full wards. They very carefully selected some what to them would be strategic streets/areas to us they made a dogs dinner of it.
At their so called re direction point a local tube station at the time dictated by them there were seen 3 male muppets and 2 female trolls and im being polite here.
With reference to Diva Dickys suit he only has 2 the one this weekend is his winter one, im surprised he was not wearing his knee high boots.
They appear to have spread themselves very thinly and never got any where near the Barking end of the borough but possible strayed into Havering/Romford.
Nothing new in the leaflet, same old bog standard they have done everything - even leaving in the lie that they admitted at a public meeting only 2 months ago.
The only B & D bnp Councillor seen out with them over the weekend was the Diva - so obviously the rest of his sheep have decided to follow another leader. It was always on the cards this weekend has just confirmed it.
Sorry to change the topic from London, the area that will make or break the rebellion come springtime, and has the potential to turn Nick Griffin into King Midas, but I'm rather interested in the subterfuge behind the Bradford situation.
Someone earlier mentioned something about the Telegraph and Argus announcing the Bradford BNP organiser Andrew Clarke defecting to the English Democrats.
Can Ketlan, Searchlight, or anyone else shed light on Andrew Clarke. Who the hell is he, what's his background, and why did he fall out with Cromie and Griffin and yet not stay with the rebels in their campaign to re-elect "Citizen Saddie"?
It's strange that the EiE blog seems to defend Cromie, when the fat bastard is staunchly licking Nick Griffin's smelly, hairy arse. Angie Clarke clearly states on the blog that Cromie sent her hate mail through the post, yet Rebel Command seem to have a weird love affair with this Griffin lapdog.
The only reason I can muster here, is that Cromie is a multi-millionairre with notes to burn, and the lily-livered rebels are fantasising that Cromie will, as if by magic, change sides, and pump millions of pounds into the rebel cause.
Thus, they must treat this best friend of Griffin and collett with kid-gloves, and dareden't say a bad word about Cromie, no-matter what he's done. And to think, the BNP (including rebels) harp on regularly about "political correctness".
I don't know about the chuffin' Monster Raving Loony party, but sometimes the logic of Sadie and Co. is mighty hard to muster.
The spineless rebels won't sabotage griffin's Greater London Assembly campaign by such futile fantasising. Cyclops must be pissing himself (Sid Williamson-style) laughing at the way the rebels are treating with the conniving, deceitful Cromie with kid-gloves.
Keith Axon is the bad speller, and a self-proclaimed Nazi, which makes a mockery of Sharon Ebanks claim of "new nationalism":
Just found this on Brummie76's local blog: -

For the record this chap was thrown out of the party, testament to the BNP's opposition to national socialism aka Nazism

"corparet gread" is the most classic Axon spelling mistake. Wonderful stuff......
'The only reason I can muster here, is that Cromie is a multi-millionairre with notes to burn, and the lily-livered rebels are fantasising that Cromie will, as if by magic, change sides, and pump millions of pounds into the rebel cause.'
I doubt that'll happen. More likely that Cromie is likely to slap libel suits up all over the place if they say anything slightly out of order and they're playing it carefully.
Re' Andrew Clarke - we'll have a dig but I doubt there's much more info to be had about him. He sounds like another Chris Hill, except Hill made another turn back to support the rebels again.
This is the confirmation Andrew Clarke stood in the same ward last year (2007) as a BNP candidate.
Wibsey: *Ralph David Ritchie Berry (Lab), Brian James Boulton (Lib Dem), Andrew John Clarke (BNP), Richard Ian Sheard (Con).

Obviously he sees the English Democrats as a better option than standing as an "Independent Nationalist".
Maybe Searchlight know more about him.
You don't think the rebels will all secretly join the English Democrats before the next elections, a ready-made nationalist party with several councillors situated already across the country, to take on the bnp?
Surely not! It's late and I'm getting tired.
http://kirkunity.blogspot.com/2007/04/blog-post_7708.html
When Richard Langford made the switch to the English Democrats, the party's leader admitted the party contains plenty of other former bnp members.
That photo is amusing. I think I might start up a caption competition on my web site.
Seriously though, who here is surprised that The BNP are giving over-inflated and misleading statistics? I'm not, it's probably one of their best propaganda weapons, not that it's much good really but I suppose they are firm believers that if you tell a lie often enough it will come true etc
speaking of double glazing salesmen (as somebody did earlier on . . . .)
in a certain by-election I was involved in, the BNP bussed in leafletters from 50 miles away - one of whom WAS a double glazing salesman, who had the brilliant wheeze of delivering a BNP leaflet AND one of his double glazing leaflets to each property at the same time.
Brilliant
Except:
a) it didn't go down well with the recipients
b) it didn't go down well with his employer when we rang him up and said "did you know somebody's delivering your flyers folded into a BNP election leaflet?"
Not into high level maths? Here's a philosophical question for you....
If Nick Griffin speaks & no-one hears him, is he still a wanker? Discus......
sorry gone deaf.....
