  1. You would have been better doing a blockade before the event to stop the BNP from getting thier stuff into the site.

Most people will already be on site by 12:30pm on the Saturday, so a demo at this time wont do much to stop them.

The BNP will say that they are the injured party by saying that you have come to attack them at a family event (women & children will be there) so be careful, make sure you record everything.

Your best bet would be to infiltrate the event and cause some mayhem by ensuring that they have no power etc.

  2. There's plenty planned for the day (though I'm sure more ideas are welcome).

  3. I don't think stopping their annual knees-up is a good move to be honest, I agree with C1, infriltrait the bastards and then show the world (internet users) just who follows them.

  4. I'm confused as to what time we are supposed to gather. I've seen both 9am and 11am. The coach I was going to get doesn't leave till after 9. What is happening?

  5. Notts Stop the BNP organised the demonstration months ago, with a start time of 9am, coinciding with people arriving for the "festival".

Unite Against Fascism, without consulting Notts Stop the BNP, who originated the campaign, organised their own protest for 11am. The organisers then responded with a plea for unity against the BNP, with both groups arriving at 9am, which UAF ignored.

I would ask people to get there for 9am if possible, and 11am if not.

See the Notts Stop the BNP website for up to date details - the situation may change.
