Councillor arrested over BNP membership list

A councillor who was kicked out of the BNP last year has been arrested in connection with the unauthorised release of the party's membership list. The Post understands Sadie Graham was one of two people arrested by Notts police officers last night.

Several police cars and a number of officers remain outside a property in Church Lane, Brinsley. Coun Graham, now an independent nationalist at Broxtowe Borough Council, was dropped from the BNP in December last year.

A spokeswoman for Dyfed Powys Police said: "We can confirm that Nottinghamshire Police arrested two people as part of a joint investigation with Dyfed Powys Police and the Information Commissioner's Office in conjunction with alleged criminal offences under the Data Protection Act. The arrests followed an investigation into a complaint received about the unauthorised release of the BNP party membership list."

The spokeswoman said that an army bomb disposal team was called to the address in Brinsley after a suspicious item was found during a police search of the same property. She added: "This was purely a precautionary measure and the item was declared safe, with no further reaction required."

The BNP membership list was published on an internet blog last month and was removed after complaints from the party. It featured more than 12,000 names including addresses, jobs and contact details. The BNP says the list was based on its 2007 membership list, although a number of names of people who were not, or are not, party members had allegedly been added.

The party said it obtained an injunction at the High Court in Manchester earlier this year, banning the publication of the list. Speaking last night, a BNP party spokesman said: "Police have confirmed they have arrested two people in the Nottinghamshire area."

Coun Graham left the BNP last year for allegedly being involved in the writing of an internet blog which the BNP claimed had aimed to "attack and smear fellow party officials".

Her expulsion was not heard before a panel and she appealed. At the time, she said: "I am absolutely disgusted by the way they have treated me when I have done nothing but work hard for the party and have been responsible for bringing them forward in the East Midlands. I am now an independent councillor for Broxtowe. I would like to assure people that I am still nationalist and still believe in the principles of the BNP, but just disagree with the bad management of the party. I work very hard as a councillor and will continue to do so."

Coun Graham was unavailable for comment.

  1. BNP watchers will recall that a certain person's PC was stolen along with other items of personal property by Reynolds and his fellow thugs last December from the home of a certain person living in Brinsley. Now you dont have to be a genius to know that that computer would have contained the settings for connecting to the ISP. Hook that particular PC up to a telephone line and any internet activity would be traced back to that PC and that ACCOUNT HOLDER! Griffin and Co never handed the PC back to its rightful owner - wonder why? Must be all sorts of gifts on that hard drive for someone to sift through.

Why would two people who are battling Gri££In in court jeopardise that court action and risk contempt of court which carries a 2 year prison sentence and unlimited fines? Who gains? Only one answer and its not in Notts but on a pig farm 120 miles away.

I bet the one eyed porker is stroking his white pussy cat right now and saying "another good job done. That will muddy the waters and stop those pesky kids winning in court".

  2. Well well - the beast starts to devour itself it seems. The break away group are no less racist or extreme, they just wanted to be "in charge" - possibly they saw what Griffin was making out of the deal and wanted to be part of it. When they were not part of the chosen few, they turned all sour!

Wonder how many on the list will now be supporting the break away group ...... they are all a side show actually, but great for amusement!

  3. Oh dear. What a pity if Sadie has had to descend to this level - though of course, it might not be the case that she had. I always thought she would have had more than enough info at her fingertips to bring the fat bastard down anyway. My guess is that she's been nicked as she's the most likely suspect, probably along with Matt Single. Frankly though, it could have been one of a dozen people.

  4. I thought Nick Griffin had decided it was the Labour party and its stooges what done it? Had yet another change of mind has he?

  6. The national Guardian isn't saying a lot

"Police have arrested two people in Nottinghamshire over the leak of the BNP membership list on the internet.

The arrests came as part of an investigation by the Welsh police, who are in charge of the case, and the information commissioner's office.

Police said the pair, who have not been named, were held in connection with alleged offences under the Data Protection Act.

A spokesman for Dyfed Powys police said: "We can confirm that last night Nottinghamshire police arrested two people as part of a joint investigation with Dyfed Powys police and the information commissioner's office in conjunction with alleged criminal offences under the Data Protection Act.

"The arrests followed an investigation into a complaint received about the unauthorised release of the BNP party membership list."

The revelation of the party's 13,500-strong membership list last month caused an uproar after thousands of people were identified as supporters of the far right. The exposure left many facing the risk of dismissal from work, disciplinary action or vilification.

The list, which was thought to include those who had expressed an interest in the party but had not signed up, included the names of police officers, solicitors, a doctor and a number of teachers. As well as names and addresses, the list included details such as home and mobile phone numbers and email addresses.

The BNP said the list dated from 2007 and some people on it were no longer members.

The party leader, Nick Griffin, claimed that he knew the identity of the person who published the list, describing him as a "hardliner" senior employee who left the party last year.

The BNP is known to go to considerable lengths to conceal the identities of its members. Membership lists are held on computer spreadsheets, usually by an official based in York. Limited lists are sent to local organisers as encrypted attachments to emails that can be accessed only by officials who have been given a password."

allegedly my arse, anyone who even made a purchase from the vile Excalibur tat website was included on the list.

Dormant memberships were included, the list included kids who unfortunately have either stupid or racist parents.

    The reality hasn't changed
THE BNP HAVE LESS THAN 8000 MEMBERS
LESS THAN 50 COUNCILLORS OUT OF A POSSIBLE 22,350 AND
LESS THAN 45 PARISH COUNCILLORS OUT OF A POSSIBLE 110,000 PARISH COUNCILLORS

Sorry about the caps lock !!!

They do have the truth truck though
Be afraid..... be very afraid !!!

  13. More Headline grabbing publicity for the BNP in tommorows press.

The BNP are certainly punching above their weight. Its headline after headline ...and no publicity is bad publicity...

In that case hold your frigging tongue, going around repeating BS from the likes of Gri££in isnt going to help any genuine anti-facist. Let's wait to see what happens. Reports coming through that both the Singles have been released without charge which confirms why Matt Single was also released without charge TWO weeks ago when he was picked up by Essex police. FFS surely even the dumbest of investigators can see where this is heading! That nark Gri££in is looking for any way to weasel his way out of the court case he brought against the so called December Six. He knows he is screwed and needs a get out claws, so by pointing suspicion at Sadie and Matt Single he has diverted interest away from his own dodgy dealings.

I don't think headlines about the continuing internal chaos in the BNP is likely to be useful, no matter how much Griffin tries to spin it.

Take it easy. It was only an opinion. It wasn't that bad.

Could be a great Carry On film. The fnaar fnaar jokes would be endless.

Griffin uses this mail merge of the above 5 lists for his pathetic begging letters (oops I meant fundraising letters), It could be Geoff Dickens the BNP fundraiser.

  27. I know you’re tired of me saying it, but I won’t stop until you realise the BNP is owned and run by the state.

Griffin took BNP membership money to put an extension on his Welsh cottage

Griffin instructed treasurers to shred copies of cheques and financial documents

Griffin operates the Trafalgar Club as a private slush fund. No one knows how much money is really in that account, or how much cash the BNP is given that it never declares

Griffin instructed illegally paid thugs to enter a private property and steal another’s possessions

Griffins BNP puts cheques through companies that don’t exist. They were opened for the bank accounts and then shut down. Those bank accounts are still in operation, but the businesses no longer exist

Collett and Hannam attempt sex with school girls

Lecomber is instructed by Griffin to get Owens to murder elected government ministers

And not once have the police asked questions or decided to become involved, but they arrest Sadie Graham on Griffins whim because he’s afraid of losing thousands in a court case. Is anyone listening?

  28. Bloody funny comment on the Stormfront thread (just before they closed it)

"It's strange how personal abuse is only directed at people once they have fallen foul of those at Gri££in Towers.

I seem to remember a number of people on here crowing about how gorgeous Sadie Graham was, when the focus of the abuse was Sharon Ebanks (funnily enough, because she had fallen foul of The Messiah).

Now that Sadie Graham herself has committed the same heinous crime, all of a sudden she's "fat" ?

I wonder how long it will be until a non-White family member is dug up ?....We've already been treated to one of Griffin's brainless useful idiots on here chuntering about how she is not White (funnily enough without a shred of evidence to back it up) - It probably won't be long until SG being non-White is something that "everybody knows", and is "a well-known fact" because the more mentally pliable amongst Gri££in's brown-tongue brigade constantly repeat it.

It is as tedious as it is predictable, and it is predictable because it happens EVERY single time somebody falls out with The Son Of God (which is usually over either his disgraceful financial conduct, or the company that he keeps.)

The same "red", "state", "thief", "black" nonsense flows forth, and certain people gleefully lap it up like poorly-trained puppies.

Meanwhile, back at his (expensive on his "salary" ?) mansion in Wales, Gri££in is laughing at you."
