Three people have been charged with racially aggravated public order offences after a group heading to a far-right British National Party camp on Saturday taunted anti-racism protesters, police said.
Derbyshire police arrested 19 people during the mainly peaceful anti-BNP rally near a farm outside the village of Codnor where the BNP's Red, White and Blue festival was held over the weekend.
The three were among a group who crossed fields to get to the camp on foot under police escort as hundreds of demonstrators waving placards saying "the BNP is a Nazi party" blocked road access to the site.
The BNP, which campaigns to halt immigration and repatriate immigrants voluntarily, won its first two seats in the European Parliament in June.
Although it has no representatives in the British parliament, the party has won support from white voters angry about unemployment and access to public housing and other services during the worst recession in generations.

UAF people arrested for a "racial taunt", they are arresting the wrong people! What about the b*****ds that threw wet sponges at Obama and knocked Brown and Prescott off the coconut throwing stall?
ReplyDeletethe real BNP
ReplyDelete2 things
ReplyDelete1. The plod with the camera... why isnt he facing the other way.... after all the plod or on the 'commies' side and will be taking pics to use against the 'honest hard working(?!?!?!?) whites.
2. Reuters saying the "worst recession in generations"..... generations? How old are Reuters reporters? I seem to remember the 80's being a damn sight worse that this... 'It must be a recession my bank didnt pay me a four figure bonus this month' bollocks
I heard the 3 charged are from South London?
ReplyDeleteIndeed! Call themselves a genuine political party that has shed their "racist past", their newly-restored website, which I have had a good look through for half an hour, is full of - well democratic debate it most certainly is not!
ReplyDeleteUAF people arrested for a "racial taunt",
ReplyDeleteThe article does not say it was our people! We wouldn't do that, we leave the racism to the BNP racists!!
2. Reuters saying the "worst recession in generations"..... generations? How old are Reuters reporters? I seem to remember the 80's being a damn sight worse that this... 'It must be a recession my bank didnt pay me a four figure bonus this month' bollocks
ReplyDeleteThey obviously haven't heard about the economies of France and Germany growing 0.3% in the last 3 months, Kev! Bad news and scare stories sell papers, unless of course you take the Morning Star!
The fash fest that had been hyped & hyped all year long attracted an average audience of around 700, under miserable cold weather and laughable "entertainment". Honestly it reminds me of that episode from Father Ted...maybe sieg-hailing, boosts the morale amongnst the BNP folk...
ReplyDeleteThere is a God.
ReplyDeleteEven BNP members are saying there were only 600 people there over the weekend.
ReplyDeleteNot very good really.
So the website is back up - from the story it seems that the superheroes have returned, superman picture and all......and of course more lies about attacks! These people live in a fantasy world.
ReplyDeleteWhat is however remarkable is that there is NOTHING which resembles feedback on the RWB. If you wanted confirmation that it was a flop this is it.
Also notice BNP News (Arthur Kemp) is back from his visit to the USA - no doubt trying to make the move before his US visitors visa runs out in November. Am sure that it is only a matter of time before he does a duck - Stormfront will give Mrs K a fictitious job and she will support him thus giving him access to the US. Although he is reprehensible seems like the website is going to have difficulty staying up once he is gone so there may be something to look forward to.
Initially I assumed that the humiliating and disasterous turnout for the RWB would be a wake up call to the BNP members. Is there no end to their shame, lack of self respect or their enduring lack of ability to comprehend that they are been ripped off at every possible opportunity?
ReplyDeleteNearly 700 of the hardcore membership (which includes kids!!) turned up for this cheap and tatty car boot sale. Everyone has seen the pictures, stall after stall of cheap tat, no proper fairground, not even a proper stage for their hate filled speeches.
Yet despite all this, despite the lies about the so called truth truck, the lies about a dos attack on the BNP website, the accounts been late yet again, these naive members will continue to contribute their hard earned money to a fringe lunatic party who will NEVER EVER get into power. The mind boggles.
This was meant to be the biggest RWB to date, two elected MEPs and a 10 year anniversary of the RWB was meant to make this a monumental event in the eyes of the BNP, clearly this never happened.
This can of worms opens from the inside, people will tire of the seige mentality, they will stop listening to Simon Darby telling eveyone that this years RWB was a success,
'UAF people arrested for a "racial taunt"'
ReplyDeleteNo anti-fascists were arrested for racial taunts. Three people have been charged with public order offences and a fourth with unlawfully obstructing the highway. Two other people were cautioned, two received fixed penalty notices and a further 10 were bailed while enquiries continue. One person was released with no further action.
The three mentioned in this article are all BNP (naturally) and the information we've received suggests that they are with South London BNP. We'll let you all know more as we get it.
Thanks for the clarefication with the racial taunts thing. Thank god we weren't involved in that.
ReplyDeleteFrom what I've read there are 4 people being charged and 3 of them are the nazis. Result. :)
ReplyDelete"From what I've read there are 4 people being charged and 3 of them are the nazis."
ReplyDeleteCertaily looks like that from where I'm sitting. According to 24dash;
"Yesterday, police said three people were charged with public order offences relating to racially-aggravated offences."
Is the failure of the RWB this year due to Griffin being elected MEP?
ReplyDeleteNow that he has his snout in the Euro trough can he be bothered to organise and promote the RWB?..nor rip it off?
Just a thought.
dont know if anyone has seen sf but the fash managed to hitch a life on one of our coaches - i thought it was bull but they have a video taken on board.
ReplyDeletewth happened to thinking of security
next year, restrict coach seats to known activists only or activists that have been met
The coach driver videoing coach passengers themselves as they enter the coach would deter far right moles, as they would't want to give the game away.
ReplyDeleteMany coaches are fitted with in-can CCTV, especially those of companies who operate school services, charters or National Express.
Does anybody know the identity of the nutcase making the Hitler salute?
ReplyDeletePhoto's of the rwb on the bnp film on the buses. 99% of them were from previous years when the RWB used to have very good attendances.
ReplyDeleteanother BNP Scam to cover up the shocking attendance.
Also notice BNP News (Arthur Kemp) is back from his visit to the USA
ReplyDeleteAccording to Kemps blog they were flitting all over Europe not the USA.
Next time we should spot them, let them get on, then drop them off in the middle of nowhere.
