What BNP supporter Wayne Brown said to enrage his Leicester team-mates

Leicester City are considering the future of defender Wayne Brown after an allegedly racially abusive outburst in the club's dressing room left his position in doubt.

Contrary to reports last week, it was not merely Brown's boast that he voted for the BNP at the General Election which enraged his team-mates, but the language and terms he used while doing so. Having returned to the dressing room after training, where a discussion was taking place between a group of players about the election results, Brown first told a stunned, racially mixed group of players that he had voted for the BNP.

He was met with a volley of protest. But rather than defusing the situation, the player, born in Barking where BNP leader Nick Griffin was wiped out in the election by Labour's Margaret Hodge, and the party lost all its council seats, launched into an abuse attack on against ethnic minorities whom he claimed were 'killing this country'.

The reaction was furious and several players pointed out that, not only were Brown's phrases and views unacceptable, but that he had Asian, black and mixed-race colleagues.

Leicester boss Nigel Pearson suspended him for the play-off semi-finals, which the side lost to Cardiff City, and has made clear privately he no longer wishes Brown to be a part of his squad. A statement from the club said: 'Any alleged incidents will be investigated and dealt with internally.'

I don't know about getting disciplined by the FA, maybe a good hiding from his parents (even at his 32 years) would be more in order.

Mind you, I wonder exactly where his brain is if he actually has one. LCFC are, as the writer points out a racially integrated team where white BRITISH black BRITISH Asian BRITISH and racially mixed BRITISH alongside foreign players work and play in unity for the good of the proudly multiracial City of Leicester and the entertainment of many a 'Chisit' (native of Leicester/shire).

He needs to go back to school and learn a little bit about the 21st century Britain in which he lives.

  2. Hopefully this nutzi prat will be unable to find a pro club to play for, which would be more than likely because few teams these days are all white.

Hopefully the dole will be beckoning for this loser. Must have had a complete and absolute brain storm to come out with his tirade of racist abuse on the large wages that footballers earn.

Shame for him the EDL don't own a football team.

  4. Kick It Out and Show Racism The Red Card need to get involved. This is not an issue of political opinion it is a RACIST outburst directed not (a-la Daily Express, Littlejohn press scapegoats etc) at asylum seekers immigrants practicing Muslims etc but at black and Asian Britons who hold British passports and are just as British as he is, and as this happened during 'works time' and not down the Red Lion with his mates he must be held in gross misconduct andkicked out of this club. Football is absolutely no place for racism, especially not in 2010 as we've come this far in eradicating it from the English game.

    From SRTRC:

“Racism is something created and anything that has been created can be undone”
    - Samuel Eto'o

“Black or white, we all have football under our skin”
    - Eusebio

Preferably on the pitch at the Walkers Stadium in front of a packed house!

  7. unbelievably, this racist scumbag is now being signed for Preston North End!!! Despite all of this being in the public domain and Preston being the multi-cultural town it is... surely there's something we can do? Perhaps a boycott of Preston's sponsors, or some pointed letters to the new club owner, Trevor Hemmings? Remembers, This BNP supporter could soon be visiting your child's school as part of the club's 'football in the community' work and held up as a role model for your child... unless we do something about it. Is that acceptable to you?
