BNP announces candidate in Illsley successor race

A female community worker has been selected as the BNP candidate in the by-election to replace Eric Illsley.

Enis Dalton was announced as the candidate in a party meeting at Farm Road Working Men's Club in Kendray, attended by leader Nick Griffin. There had been speculation that he would be the candidate, compounded when the party's press spokesman refused to deny it last week.

Anti-BNP Protesters gathered outside the meeting.

  1. I wouldn't want a BNP candidate working in my community. She wouldn't be tolerated for a minute.

Nor in mine. I wonder if her employers know she's a candidate yet?

  4. I think she is a fairly junior health education officer - community worker is stretching the point rather (not that the BNP would do that!!!!!!) - council clerical officer might be a more accurate description!

  5. Community worker? What sort?

    Yes, suitably vague, eh?

If you listen to hear acceptance sppech on youtube it could have been delivered by any candidate standing for any party: full of platitudes. I wonder how long she's been a member?

I maybe wrong but on first viewing she doesn't seem the type to represent the BNP's new "militant" BNP. We'll see during the campaign.

  6. I like the BNP slogan in the background:

    MOVING FORWARD TOGETHER

    However it should read:

MOVING FORWARD TOGETHER (BUT NOT IF YOU'RE BLACK, ASIAN, JEWISH, MIXED RACE, MUSLIM, GAY, A TRADE UNIONIST, LIBERAL, SOCIALIST, DISABLED)

  8. No doubt the revolting 'green arrow' will be salivating amidst the squalor of his beer stained tenement at the thought of the fragrant Ms Dalton.

Of course she'll lose miserably & disappear back under which ever stone she crawled out off.

  10. There is/was a health promotion officer of the same name at Doncaster Council.

    Doncaster.

    Which is not Barnsley.

  12. @iliacas

They are but 16.4 miles apart and the name is unusual - not many people escape google.

However if I am wrong I unreservedly apologise.

  13. This is indeed her, an environmental health officer: Check out her Facebook: -

She cannot impartially represent the environmental health of black and asian people living in Doncaster, if race comes into her work?

    Just think about it!

Enis is also going to host an event for the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health in 2011 (the date is yet to be announced)

Black and Asian people attending this meeting should be told that Enis is a white supremacist who hates their guts.

Please complain to the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health, as their political membership of the BNP are at odds

Hopefully public pressure can get "Enis Pennis" the sack and have her singing on the "bread roll" sooner or later!!!

Please be polite on the phone when demanding she is dropped from hostinbg their forthcoming event, thanks!

Also she is Yorkshire secretary of the North of England Home Safety Regional Council (working for the community safety of white residents!)

If you're white, you get a smoke alarm from Miss BNP. If you're black or Asian, expect an unexpected visit from BNP thugs in the middle of the night.

So also, please ask ROSPA to give Enis the sack. Thanks.

  15. Interview here:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_OWez1MMkpA

She comes across as spectacularly naive. Says nothing that could identify herself with the BNP and mentions the Miners' Strike in a way that would make you think she's Left.

She'll be heavily protected by the BNP machine and I wouldn't be surprised it she folds before Election Day stating that she didn't know what she was getting into.

  16. and mentions the Miners' Strike in a way that would make you think she's Left.

Someone should tell her that Tyndall's BNP supported the government against the Miners in 1984, calling for the Army to be used to smash the NUM.

Any anti-fascist propaganda in Barnsley should mention this.

  17. so she works for the council??? Isn't there a rule about council employees standing for election.

What on earth are they doing allowing a BNP meeting to take place there?

  19. The chat about her on the ever classy british democracy forum has identified her as a "MILF" (go google it if you don't know) and has a pretty tawdry slant to it. I have a strong suspicion that she may not have been a party member for very long as she doesn't appear on any of the leaked lists. I imagine she'll regret it in due course. I feel sorry for these dupes who have to go back to normal lives.

  20. Farm Road Working Men's Club in Kendray. What on earth are they doing allowing a BNP meeting to take place there?

Some of the Working Men's Club and Institute Union (CIU) clubs were, and still are, notorious for operating colour bars and have a de-facto Whites only policy. As a kid I used to be dragged along to one of these clubs in multi-racial Harlesden and the men who operated it (the "committee") used to boast openly that they didn't serve Black people or Asians.

Thank you for that interesting and appalling piece of information.

    Re:Anonymous 7:20

I think the rule about council employees is only going to apply to local elections which this is definitely not.
