It’s not all what it appears

A strange night in Luton last night. Not long after midnight word came that joint EDL leader Kevin Carroll had been the victim of a gun attack on his family home. According to the EDL's facebook administrator, Carroll had been shot at several times by Muslim gunmen and armed police were sealing off the area.

Twenty minutes later, "straight from the horses mouth" it was reported that Carroll's window had been broken and that Kevin Carroll had chased the assailant/assassin in his van and then on his return home was shot at by a man (no longer Asian?) and Kevin suffered a broken toe.

Not to be left out, and not for the first time, Tommy Robinson (Stephen Yaxley Lennon) then reported that armed police were at his house (again) and that the Luton demo would still go ahead "even if one of us was killed." Indeed, as relayed by Wigan EDL, "it's Fucking on!"

By the time the BBC were reporting the event this morning, Carroll had merely gone to "investigate (his broken window) and saw a man who appeared to be holding a shotgun. No shots were fired."

Of course, the truth has come too late as for hours and hours now and as far away as America, it is being reported that Muslims have tried to assassinate an EDL leader. The vile outpouring of anger and threats from those who have swallowed the false story of an assassination attempt is a real cause for concern.

Still on the EDL facebook page they're reporting "that Kevin Carroll lead the gunman away from his family thru gardens & expected to die when landed poorly. His ok and said nothing has changed for Luton... A true soldier & joint leader to the cause!"

And of course, there is a reminder that there still remain a few tickets left for the trip to Luton. They write that "After the events of last night I hope the people that werent (sic)going to Luton are changing their mind." And for those unsure, the £20 they charge for the trip gets you there (Luton) "and back!"

Draw your own conclusions as to how and why things have gone bump in the night.

Hope not hate

Oh dear, the EDL has been caught out telling porkies again. How unusual.

  2. BBC report

"Attack on EDL man's Luton home probed

Reports of an attack on the home of a leading English Defence League (EDL) member are being investigated by police in Bedfordshire.

Officers were called to Kevin Carroll's home in Bolingbroke Road, Luton, late on Thursday after reports an object was thrown against the window of the house.

Mr Carroll said he went to investigate and saw a man who appeared to be holding a shotgun. No shots were fired.

Officers carried out a search of the area, but no offender was found.

Police said they were trying to establish what happened and wanted to talk to anyone who saw anything suspicious."

A lot of these people are armchair Loyalists (despite Carroll and Lennon having Irish Catholic roots) and they fantasise about turning English towns into latterday versions of Belfast and (London)Derry circa 1973. They read Martin Dillon books and want the EDL to morph into versions of the UVF, UDA, YCV, RHC etc.

What occured in Ireland between 1968 and 1994 has always had a massive hold over the far-right in Britain and these lurid tales of shotguns and assassination attempts (in reality a broken window) is wishful thinking on their part.

  5. A police spokesperson said, “We find it hard to believe that someone who had Mr Carroll in their sights, and a gun in their possession, wouldn’t pull the trigger.”

    LOL

To quote actor Tim Roth's description of the police in the 1987 TV film "Coppers":

"They're not that bright, you know"

This may seem hard to believe but some cops are actually on our side, or at least sympathic.

Comedian Jeremy Hardy recounts a story about when he told a joke about his secret desire to shoot BNP members during a routine and subsequently he received death threats from Combat 18. Police Special Branch went and interviewed Jeremy about safety precutions and the SB officer asked him what exactly did he say to warrant the C18 threats. Hardy replied "I joked about wanting to shoot BNP members".

The Officer shrugged his shoulders and replied in turn, "Sounds reasonable to me!"

In light of recent revelations every one of them is probably an undercover cop.

  14. That no shots were fired is one thing. The other thing is, regardless of whether shots were fired or not, what is this crap about "Muslim gunmen"? How does the EDL know if anyone is Muslim or not? Do the EDL claim to have psychic powers now?

If you ask me, I think it's an inside job by the EDL themselves just to get attention.

Yes, cooked up between Carroll and Geller. Except more of the same this week.
