We've just been informed that the planned EDL demo in Birmingham is off and instead the EDL intends to take itself off to Blackburn, Lancashire on April 2nd. Anyone got any more on this?
This is from the EDL facebook page... English Defence League (EDL) The English Defence League has decided to postpone the Birmingham demonstration due to certain football fixutes clashing on the same dates, we will be giving a new date for it soon and will issue a new demonstration for March 19th after discussions by the leadership. EDL have become money grabbers too, just like the BNP...to post on their forum you now how to become a member at the cost of £2.50 a month, £30 a year OR £1,200.00 for life! Gold membership anyone?
Maybe. I didn't see the deleted post. It might have gone into the spam bin. Google has been playing up a bit today, as you may have noticed from the misreported number of comments, and a hell of a lot of posts that are perfectly acceptable have gone into the spam bin for no reason at all.
Interestingly enough, LibDem councillor Martin Mullaney, whose blatant slander and libel against anti-war Councillor Yaqoob just to grab a bit of publicity, seems to be in the process of backfiring. He is, according to the very same red-top that gave him a platform for his bigotry, "under investigation from LibDem officials both locally and nationally" and has been attacked by his own party leader on Brum Council.
What goes around, comes around. He must now get kicked out of the LibDems as his actions were neither liberal or truly democratic.
Just got a text saying more or less the same but no further details yet.
