Nick Griffin's British National Party, already under investigation for breaches of electoral law, is facing fresh allegations of corruption. Panorama uncovers new evidence of financial documents being falsified and fabricated in order to deceive the Electoral Commission. The programme also has evidence of the BNP's failure to declare major donations to the party.
As Darragh MacIntyre reports, the BNP, which is better known for its controversial views on race, is in debt and according to its own published accounts appears to be technically insolvent.

About time too!
ReplyDeleteWhat's the betting its cancelled again?
ReplyDeleteIts definately on this time.I hope that GriffPIG and his family and Darby/Jefferson all end up behind bars for a very long time. These people are pure filth and robbing scumbags.
ReplyDeleteEx BNP member
Whats the betting its all aload of bullshit again ¿
ReplyDeleteI also won't believe it will be broadcast until after it has. (!!??)
ReplyDeleteJohn Walker's on it apparently. Should be interesting.
ReplyDeleteFrom our point of view, i think Griffin is the best thing anti-fascism has. Should this Panorama finish him off, could it be an own goal for us?
ReplyDeleteNo matter what a person’s political persuasion, the fact remains that this piece of filth deserves prison and public humiliation. He represents so much of what is wrong with our society – greed, gluttony, selfishness, egotism and cowardice. With his demise may we look back and recognise how as a society he was allowed to grow like the huge parasite he is. Organisations must learn and develop procedures in order to inhibit human scum like this from elevating themselves into position.
ReplyDeleteIf this is aired many other Bnp members (i am ex East Yorkshire bnp) will finally wake up to the truth about Griffin and many of his supporters. Criminals in the broad daylight. . . parasites.
ReplyDeleteNothing will happen, the programme will be aired. A few BNP members will wail on the internet, most members i suspect will just follow Griffin no matter what.To be honest i think the Panorama orogramme will just be rehash of all the things we have been hearing for a year or more.Dont forget Barnbrook gave a dossier to the police who dismissed it. Even if the BNP are found to have lied to the electoral commission, all it will mean is a fine.
ReplyDeleteThe best thing that can happen for nationalism will be the removal and imprisonment of EDL and BNP leadership.
ReplyDeleteGet someone decent in to unite the 2 and ditch the toxic old brands!
Be careful what you wish for!
If the Grauniad can chase down the phone "hacking" issue then it's only a matter of time before someone manages to put together enough evidence tof the BNP internal fraud. I imagine there are enough bits of paper out there; it just needs someone to get their teeth into it....
ReplyDeleteI want to see the police investigated for covering up the evidence handed to them. Its coming to something when people can run a political party to scam innocent members of the public with impunity.
ReplyDeleteIt is now due to air next Monday. Next Monday, 20:30 on BBC One
