A damp squib.

After everything that has gone on over the last few months the nomination process for the BNP leadership is over with the official result thus:-

Griffin 971
Butler 214
Barnbrook 23
Adams 4
Spoilt 7

On his blog Butler goes on to say that he received over 500 nominations on his own forms and he is ruling out legal action.
On the face of it this is a much worse result than figures hilariously leaked to the Green Arrow mob last night. 1219 members voted which is about 29% of the eligible members and Butler received about 17%.

  1. It just shows the level of active support in the bnp when such a small amount of members bother to vote in leadership elections.

This wasnt a vote, it was just nominations, it will never get to the voting stage. A council candidate may only get 10 nominations but might get thousands of votes

Sorry John I might be thick but "worse" for who? Griffin or Butler? Or both?

17% for Butler sounds quite good for him and bad for griffin

  4. Sorry, I should clarify.
Last night somebody posted some fake info on the democracy forum which said that the results were:-

    Richard Barnbrook 235 nominations
    Edward Butler 574 nominations
    Derek Adams 187 nominations

This led to the green arrow lot having a party in their paltalk room and trolling.

  5. As a former member of griffins fascist dictatorship regime 1219 members voted which is 29 % of the membership ?
So that equates to just over 4000 members in the party ?
Dowson and griffin claim the membership is around 16,000 ? so why are the figures fabricated and are 12,000 ghost members at a cost of about £360,000 really a money laundering scam since jim dowson came on board ?
We worked this one out the same as mulder and skully ! "the truth is out there"

To be able to vote in this nomination process you had to have 2 years continual membership as of July 1st this year.
Because of this rule 4200 members were able to vote and Butler needed to get 840 votes.
Under the old rules which were 5% he would have needed 210 votes to force a leadership election.
