Claudia Dalgleish

Just been sent this screen grab.

Claudia Dalgleish, the ever vocal girlfriend of London BNP organiser Steve Squire is never short of something to say, most of it unpleasant.

Dalgleish aka Claudia Bryan originates from South Africa and is a good friend of the BNP's resident fruit loop Claire Khaw. Khaw was the lovely lady who said such pearls of wisdom as "The first half of Hitler's career was a roaring success. Hitler was a successful revolutionary and credit should be given where it is due"

It seems Dalgleish has turned her hand this time to a spot of anti-semitism.

For those that are unaware WPWW stands for "White Power World Wide". 1488 is frequently used by neo nazis as it refers to "The Fourteen Words" slogan: "We must secure the existence of our people and a future for White Children" The slogan was first used by David Lane, a member of the white separatist organization The Order. The Order was an organization active in the USA between 1983 and 1984 and is probably best known for the 1984 murder of radio talk show host Alan Berg.

The 88 in 1488 is used among Neo-Nazis, H is the 8th letter of the alphabet, so 88 is taken to stand for HH which in turn means Heil Hitler.

Wonder what the BNP's token Jewish councillor Pat Richardson makes of this ?

Gotcha

I don't often read the Sun newspaper, but whilst waiting for a short back and sides this morning I did happen to catch their front page: No-one here was surprised to see a senior BNP figure Nazi saluting, but it is good to see that something like eight million people who read that paper now get a real glimpse of what the BNP is really like when they think nobody can see or hear them.

I may even go as far as to say it was a very good piece of journalism by the paper, going all the way to Hungary to capture the BNP's true face.

As they always do, the BNP will now claim they are expelling or at least suspending their former rising star from West London. They also do this when their members (who are quickly described by the BNP as "former members") are arrested when guns and bombs are found under their beds.

For some, having another one of their leading lights exposed is just too much to handle. Claudia Dalgleish, who the partner of BNP's London Organiser Steve Squire is probably worried how this will effect her successful modeling business.

We hear that her and partner are seriously thinking of joining the English Democrats now.

What with the current state of the BNP and the fact that a large number of their senior people appear to be going to ground, one suspects there are a few more skeletons due an airing very soon..

Bush Hill Park Q&A scrapped after objections to BNP and Christian candidates

A hustings meeting ahead of a by-election has been axed amid objections to some candidates being invited.

The nine candidates standing for the vacant Enfield Council seat in Bush Hill Park had been invited to a question and answer session next week ahead of the poll. But the Bush Hill Park Residents Association, which was organising the session, has pulled the plug amid fears of protests and political bias.

The British National Party have entered a candidate – London organiser Steve Squire – for the first time in Bush Hill Park, but Labour candidate Ivor Wiggett is understood to have refused to share the platform with him under party policy. Objections were also raised to Christian Party representative Clive Morrison being invited, owing to alleged inflammatory comments made during his bid for the Edmonton Parliamentary seat last year.

Tony Kingsnorth, chairman of the association, said they were worried about the event being beset by protests outside and decided to call it off. The issue has been further complicated as Mr Kingsnorth is a candidate himself, standing as an independent, with vice chairman John Jewson running his campaign. This meant organising the debate would have to fall to other members of the committee, and the association did not want to risk being political by holding the event.

Paul Smith, the Lib Dem candidate, expressed his disappointment at the debate's cancellation on his blog, saying: “To be clear, the Lib Dems will appear at such events regardless of who else is on the platform because we believe that voters are drawn to fringe and extreme parties primarily because the major parties are seen as ignoring them. Get out onto the doorstep, meet these voters at hustings and they are given the voice they want and deserve and they can see how false the arguments from the extremists are.”

The BNP has never contested Bush Hill Park before, but Mr Squire is believed to have entered as a test in Enfield ahead of next year's London Assembly elections to see how the party fares.

Polling day is Thursday, July 28, with the result expected the day after.

The Squire with a rock solid pedigree

1 Comment (s)
Steve Squire BNP candidate for Bush Hill Park in Enfield
The BNP is contesting a by-election in Bush Hill Park in Enfield, north London on 28 July 2011. Its candidate, Steve Squire, comes with what Nick Griffin, the BNP leader, believes to be a rock solid pedigree though it is one that is unlikely to appeal to prospective voters. During a recent argument with party members who were criticising Squire, Griffin defended his place-man from criticism by stating proudly that Squire’s grandfather had been a member of Mosley’s jackbooted British Union of Fascists (BUF) while his father had been imprisoned in the 1970s under the Race Relations Act.

Griffin must have believed that this political genealogy was a recommendation, because he appointed Squire as his deputy London organiser when he briefly took over as London organiser himself last year. Shortly afterwards Griffin handed over the keys to the kingdom to Squire who now runs the BNP in Britain’s capital city.

Despite his recent elevation Squire is clearly unpopular with many of his colleagues in London, who don’t appear to have rushed to help him out. A photograph on the BNP website accompanying the launch of his campaign contains hardly any BNP activists from Enfield, the majority being bussed in from Croydon or at least that faction of the branch still loyal to Griffin.

Squire’s campaign team included Dave Clarke, who has a conviction for assaulting two female anti-fascist campaigners and in 2006 was investigated for electoral fraud after using a false address on his nomination papers.

The London BNP organiser is clearly surrounding himself with the crème-de-la-crème of the BNP as he embarks on his doomed quest to convince the electorate of this Enfield ward that he is fit for elected office.

This is not the first time that Squire has stood for the BNP. In 2010 he contested Enfield Lock ward, polling 447 votes (6.3%) and coming bottom of the poll, tenth out of ten. Doubtless he will fare little better in Bush Hill Park. It is unlikely that his inevitable defeat will diminish his prestige in the eyes of Griffin, who is by now getting used to his candidates being trounced at the ballot box.
