Last chance to register to vote

In order to be eligible to vote in the Euro and County Council elections on June 4th you must be registered by no later than 19th May 2009. If you would like a postal vote for these elections the closing date is 5pm on the 19th May 2009.

Here's a registration form, that you have to fill in and return to your Town Hall by Tuesday. If you need a postal vote, there is more information here and for proxy votes, see here. Starting tomorrow, we begin our review of 2008, a pretty eventful year all round - and we get on with 2009 and whatever joys and sorrows it has waiting for us. It's going to be a busy year for all of us, so relax for the moment and remind yourselves of the highs and lows of 2008.
