Police probe BNP "fraud" claims

(With thanks to The Stirrer.)

In what’s turning out to be the dirtiest local election in Birmingham for years, The Stirrer can reveal that the police are investigating allegations of fraud against the BNP – claims which the party has strenuously denied.

As we revealed last week, the Lib Dems have raised questions about the validity of signatures on the far-right party’s nomination forms in seven inner city wards (see our story here).

We spoke to a Jamaican woman in Handsworth and East Lozells whose name appears one of their candidate's official papers but who denied ever having signed it; she says that it must have been forged.

Since then, we’ve been contacted by Abid Hussain whose father’s name also appears on the candidate’s nomination form - this time in Aston.

Abid admits that his Dad signed it, but says he was misled into thinking he was signing up to a petition calling for improvement to the local area without realising that he was endorsing the BNP.

These, and various other complaints, are now in the in-tray of DC Mick Easton of the Economic Crime Unit pending his investigations.

Elsewhere, there’s also an allegation that one candidate called Kings Heath “Minger City” and its residents “Mingers”.

Perish the thought.

Despite the poetry, we're not wrong. The BNP is a FAR from respectable party.

Why has this guy Hill not been arrested. I see he was only able to get 9 people to vote for him in a Lancaster by election last year, so how can he have possibly got enough people to sign his BNP council papers now. It’s also very suspicious that it’s the same constituency both times. Is he mad, no body is going to believe a word he says if he fakes signatures on his voting slips.

I hope we put out a leaflet telling people in Lancaster that he’s a man who fakes votes. All these BNP people must be really stupid if they think they are going to get away with this but it does show how little support they have from voters.

I think chris hill is a total shit and if he has been doing this he should be jailed. Has anyone put in a complaint yet and if not why not. The faster he's in a police cell the less votes he'll get this time. although it may not be possible for him to get much less than last time or he would owe votes back to the council. 9 votes is pathetic. Come on lets get the police on to chris hill today. If I lived in Lancaster I would do it but I don't so you people in lancaster must do it. let the police put this little shit away that their job.

An acrostic yet? What a clever boy he thinks he is. Try reading Anthony Burgess' Earthly Powers, Ian. It'll show you how to construct a decent one.
