7pm Wednesday May 16th Broxtowe Town Hall, Beeston
The election's last week did not see the breakthrough that the BNP hoped for. The BNP increased overall their number of council seats by one, to 50 seats. Locally, the BNP came last in Hucknall, and also did not win in Kirkby in Ashfield.
The bad news is that Sadie Graham - the East Midlands BNP organiser - won in Brinsley. This BNP councillor has since been getting her face about on the local news and papers. The elections may be over but the campaign goes on...
Protest at Sadie Graham's first council meeting
7pm Wednesday May 16th Broxtowe Town Hall, Beeston
A protest has been called at the first Council meeting where Sadie Graham is sitting. We need as many people there as possible to make our feelings clear! Let her know that we will be there to oppose her racist and fascist policies, and the campaign goes on. We will be meeting between the Lions in Market Square from 6pm and taking megaphones, posters, placards, leaflets, and of course, PEOPLE!
Bring yourself, your friends, your school/college/work mates, and anyone who is against the BNP.
