Billy Bragg, Franz Ferdinand and MPs sign anti-racism message
Pete Doherty, Carl Barat, Franz Ferdinand and Billy Bragg are among those who have signed a St Patrick’s Day letter aimed at London’s Irish community. Celebrating today’s (March 17) saint day, the letter, issued by Rock Against Racism, and also signed by MPs, is warning the UK capital’s Irish community against voting for the British National Party in the forthcoming London mayoral election in May.
The right-wing political organisation has apparently issued election literature targeting support from that community. Warning about the current campaign, the signed letter declares: “We believe that the BNP remains an inherently racist organisation; their past and present is based not on nationalism or patriotism, but fascism. The Irish community in Britain and especially in London has a long history of involvement in anti-fascist and anti-racist activities. Everyone who rejects the BNP's politics of hate has the duty to do everything they can to stop them. We urge the Irish community and all communities in London to reject the politics of division and hate in May.”
Other signatories to the letter include author Will Self and former Irish football internationals David Kelly and Kieron Brady.

"those pig thick fuckin Oirish bastards, talk about stupid, they starved coz there was no spuds! Closest thing in the white world to a nigger is a spud munching thick fucking Paddy.".
I remember that quote very well from fat boy Sid Williamson ex BNP
perhaps more of the Irish community in london should note his comments
I for one have never forgotten them
No self respecting Irishman should support the BNP
I should know !!!
Happy Saint Patricks day everyone
'Happy Saint Patricks day everyone'
And the same here! :-)
Let’s not forget that the BNP organiser Jason Douglas (who’s running the BNP election campaign in Harold Hill, Essex – featured in today’s article, Giving the BNP the runaround – part 2), was jailed for his part in a violent fascist attack on an Irish pub in Kilburn, north-west London.
It's also worth pointing out that the BNP supported cold-blooded loyalist murders including Adair, who killed Irish Catholics for fun.
The BNP helped fundraise for these evil bastard scumbags, so allow them to persue their agenda of terror.
Mark Collett whilst the BNP’s south-west England organiser was not only a member of the anti-Catholic/Irish terrorist group, the UDA, but a Loyalist magazine he edited ran a cartoon advocating "ethnic cleansing" of Catholics in Northern Ireland. Fucking scum bag.
Mark Collett went on to found the American Friends of the BNP, before he was deported by the American government for being an undesirable alien.

You're thinking of Mark Cotterill.
