The clock is ticking on the BNP. The membership's money has all been spent. Desperate creditors are in some cases resorting to extreme measures to recover monies owed. Senior members are now being held liable for the party's debts.

Some BNP officials have literally gone into hiding as the clock ticks down and there is still no further word on whether Nick Griffin can raise the £45,000 needed to fight off a winding up order against the party.

A BBC documentary is preparing to go to air next week with a programme that will fully expose what they have uncovered in just a few short months of digging into the BNP's finances. The content of the documentary is going to be to say the least, explosive.

One faction in the BNP has gone out of its way in desperation to help the BBC. Last weekend the BNP's leadership invited the BBC to film them at a meeting, giving the BBC the impression that they were going to be allowed to put a number of serious allegations to the leadership. But instead, like spoilt children, the BNP read out a bizarre statement while another senior figure berated the BBC over of all things, given today's news, paedophilia.

Tomorrow it is expected that moves will be made to both bankrupt BNP leader Nick Griffin and have the party placed in administration. This last ditch effort by the anti-Griffin faction is in the hope that the party will be able to come out of administration with a new leader. It's a desperate act, particularly when you consider how badly Mrs Griffin reacted just to having the family's Skoda repossessed by the courts.

And while all of this is going on (each side knows what evil deeds the other is up to) they continue to try and outdo each other on internet forums with personal attacks, threats, impersonation and intimidation. Fantastic stuff to read it is too, and the longer it goes on, the less chance there would appear to be of anyone actually saving the BNP. Yesterday a statement was issued in the name of anti-Griffinite and former London regional organiser Chris Roberts. In the statement, Roberts decided to throw his weight back behind Nick Griffin a move that had the potential to split the anti-Griffin camp right down the middle. It read as a very plausible statement by Roberts. It actually turns out that although it was written by Roberts, it was written during another crisis a few years ago when he decided to come to the aid of Nick Griffin. Roberts is reportedly most unimpressed.

Our sources in the party report that two senior Griffin supporters are threatening that if they go down, they will take the entire leadership with them. All the cash cookies appear to have been taken from the cookie jar.

Some people are asking what has happened to the money the party collected for their Association of British ex-servicemen (ABEX).

And if as feared the European Parliament suspends payments to the party, one party loyalist is prepared to go to the media with what he thinks will more than cover the shortfall in wages. Sadly for him, we already have the story and not the sanitised for his benefit version he is trying to sell to Fleet Street.

The anti-Griffin faction are preparing to wheel out former NF Chairman and jailbird Martin Wingfield as an interim Chairman should they be successful with their plans.

Tomorrow should be interesting.

John Walker sacked by email.

We are hearing news that former BNP treasurer John Walker has been sacked today.

Walker who was the press officer to the two BNP MEPs had already resigned from the party in disgust at the behaviour of Nick Griffin and others in the leadership apparently received his marching orders via an email sent from party manager Adam Walker.

John Walker claims his dismissal followed revelations made by himself relating to the the ever growing influence Pat Harrington held over the BNP.

Labelling the BNP leadership as cretins earlier this month,Walker claims he has referred the matter for legal advice with the intention of taking the matter further.

This appears to be just the start of yet another "Night of the Long Knives" within the BNP, following the recent leadership election,which Nick Griffin won by a narrow nine votes.

Walker was a critic of the Griffin leadership,and laid his support firmly behind the challenger Andrew Brons.

Another Griffin critic due before the BNP disciplinary team in none other than far right veteran Martin Wingfield.

Wingfield,European Communications & Campaigns Officer and former editor of the BNP newspaper Voice of Freedom is due for his disciplinary hearing at the end of this month.

The BNP's Irish problem

When Patrick Harrington and Nick Griffin ran the 1980s National Front there were quite a few immediate and striking anomalies. The old “Butcher’s Apron”, the Union Jack, was one of the first things to go as their revolutionary zeal took an uncontrollable hold over the shrinking organisation. The national flag was left to the “reactionaries” who broke away from them – the likes of Martin Wingfield, who now works for the Griffin’s BNP, and Andrew Brons, who represents the party as an MEP. Griffin and Harrington referred to their brand of the NF as the “radicals”.

What replaced the Union Jack on the front of their monthly bore sheet, National Front News, was pictures of black folk they liked, Muslims even. They even began quoting from and selling copies of Colonel Gaddafi’s Green Book, not long after the Libyans had fired shots from the window of their People’s Bureau and killed a British police woman.

And the more people complained, the more extreme the NF seemed to become. This was their new party: the mysticism of Catholic fascism, the adulation of bizarre ranting eastern European fascists, and a Pol Pot like obsession with taking the party back to year zero.

Ireland, however, was their main problem. While the NF’s Ulster organiser was jailed for his part in the firebombing of the homes of Royal Ulster Constabulary (RUC) officers in protests over the Anglo Irish agreement, the inner circle of the party was toying with Catholicism at the same time as vying for the affections of the major benefactor of the IRA, Colonel Gaddafi.

Harrington was always Griffin’s younger, more “radical” offsider. Despite being part of a “collective leadership” it was Griffin and Harrington who took the reins and led the party into ideological wilderness and oblivion. It was Harrington who obligingly photographed Griffin standing adoringly under a huge portrait of Colonel Gaddafi on their visit to Tripoli. It was Harrington, who often made much of his Irish roots, who shocked the traditionally loyalist NF by refusing to condemn the IRA in a television exposé of the NF’s activities in 1988. Not only did it anger the NF’s already fractured membership, it led the Ulster Defence Association (UDA), Ireland’s largest paramilitary group, to demand that the party leave Northern Ireland and later to write in its monthly publication Ulster, “The NF are wankers”.

Harrington and Griffin parted company in early 1990. Their NF “Political Soldiers” group gave up marching on an empty stomach. It had been bled dry of members and cash for some time.

After taking control of the BNP in 1999, Griffin never mentioned Ireland. The party was growing; it and its membership were firmly, if not violently, loyalist. Evidence of this was apparent when its Liverpool branch put an Irish tricolour on its banner in 2007 and a near riot ensued. By 2008 Griffin was the leader of a rapidly expanding party capable of sending shockwaves through the political establishment. He even engaged a hardline Protestant to set up and run a party call centre in Northern Ireland staffed only by Protestants.

The party has occasionally made noises at election times about inviting the Republic of Ireland to step back into union with Britain if the BNP came to power, but that is not a very likely or realistic scenario, given that Griffin’s daughter was in a loyalist “Kick the Pope” band until she fled Northern Ireland last year when her father fell out with the “super-Prod” fan of loyalist paramilitaries, Jim Dowson.

As the BNP entered a steep decline following last year’s general election, out of the shadows stepped Harrington again, not quite as fresh-faced as when he last took centre stage in the 1980s, but still not as bloated as Griffin has become since taking over the BNP. Harrington had been running his own minor organisation, Third Way, and a political party, the National Liberal Party, which is supposedly a rival party to the BNP.

One of Harrington’s first acts was to stage a bitter fallout with the officers of the BNP’s fake trade union Solidarity, where with Griffin’s approval Harrington ousted its founder and installed himself as General Secretary.

His next major falling out was with – you guessed it – Dowson. It seems that Harrington has been representing the Belfast call centre staff against Dowson while simultaneously representing the party in negotiations with the same staff, some of whom have still not been paid monies owed since before Christmas.

Harrington’s other area of interest is the BNP’s faux civil rights organisation, “Civil Liberty”. It sounds like a legitimate civil rights organisation – and preposterously describes the well known human rights organisation Liberty as its sister group – but it tends to crawl out from under its stone only when there is a white person (usually a racist) in trouble with the law. So we hardly fell off our seats when last week “Civil Liberty” offered its support to the former IRA man Gerry McGeough who was jailed for the attempted murder of a part-time Ulster Defence Regiment (UDR) soldier and full-time postman in 1981.

While on the run from British and Irish authorities (which included a daring escape from custody), McGeough went to America where he arranged for arms, missiles and ammunition to be sent to the IRA in Northern Ireland. He also attempted to claim political asylum in Sweden and served eight years in Germany awaiting trial for an attack on a British Army barracks there.

McGeough sat on the executive of the IRA’s political wing until 2003 when he attempted a takeover of the Ancient Order of Hibernians (AOH), the largely moribund marching organisation (seen as the Catholic equivalent of the Orange Order), airing his extreme anti-gay and right wing views.

With the advent of peace talks and cease-fires, McGeough decided he would rather “save Ireland from sodomy” and launched a monthly magazine called The Hibernian, dedicated to “Faith, Family and Country”. Traditionally, the AOH was seen as a rival cultural organisation to Sinn Fein.

In an interview published in Searchlight in 2006, McGeough said: “Sinn Fein has been heavily infiltrated by homosexual activists and British double agents in recent years. A lot of republicans can’t fathom the liberal values of the leadership. They do not understand why they are pursuing a liberal British agenda. Immigration is a massive concern and there are a lot of people who are not happy with the level of immigration.”

Having fallen foul of Sinn Fein, McGeough was considered persona non grata by the Republican movement, even being labelled as a “fascist” on a web forum used by supporters of the Irish Republican Socialist Party (IRSP), the political wing of the rival Irish National Liberation Army. But as the British far right has often found, there remain rather extreme pits of “traditional” Catholicism in the republic, where people with like-minded fears and hatreds can come together on mutual issues. Even the hardline loyalist Dowson, who as good as owned the BNP for a couple of relatively lucrative years, has found tapping into the Republic’s Catholic conservatism financially beneficial.

McGeough might have been an outcast, but he was by no means alone in his religious extremism.

In March 2007 McGeough stood for election against a Sinn Fein candidate as an Independent Republican in Fermanagh. He was arrested for the attempted murder, some 30 years after event, while leaving the polling station and had since then been living under various forms of incarceration and house arrest.

Last month McGeough was convicted for that attempted murder. For loyalists and Unionists, the community in Northern Ireland in which the BNP puts so much faith, the now-disbanded UDR was a much revered local almost totally Protestant regiment. To Irish nationalists and republicans, it was an imperialist and sectarian force that colluded with loyalist murder squads.

Although McGeough attracted some sympathy from the Republican movement for his actions at the height of the IRA’s campaign in Britain, Northern Ireland and mainland Europe, few have much time for his views on Ireland today or his extreme (“traditionalist”) Catholicism. He is likely to serve only two years under the terms of the Good Friday Agreement.

Last week “Civil Liberty” broke its recent silence to pay homage to McGeough. Lauding McGeough and The Hibernian for covering issues and themes “long abandoned by Sinn Fein and other leftist Irish Republican organisations such as opposition to abortion and homosexuality, scepticism about multiculturalism and mass immigration into Ireland”, it went on to praise McGeough for “criticism of the international banking system” (this normally refers to Jews) and articles about “English Catholic writers, GK Chesterton and Hilaire Belloc, who helped develop and make popular distributist ideas in the first half of the twentieth century across the British Isles”.

Yes, it seems as if McGeough had a reading list in later years not too dissimilar to the one the Griffin-Harrington NF recommended to supporters, and indeed that Harrington himself recommends to this day. According to “Civil Liberty”, McGeough’s case has been “followed by radical nationalists across the British Isles with varying degrees of sympathy”.

This sort of language has set the BNP ablaze with innuendo and accusation. Just who are these “radical nationalists” who have such varying degrees of sympathy with McGeough? Many point the finger at Harrington, who has launched a myriad of legal letters and challenges in recent months to stop publication of a “private” photograph of himself proudly posing in front of a commemoration to the fallen members of “D Company, 2nd Battalion of the Belfast Brigade of the IRA”.

BNP members and supporters are furious and the BNP section of the “British Democracy Forum” is alight with accusations, recriminations and the airing of old suspicions and hatreds directed at Harrington and the IRA in general. It seems that the memories and the hatreds of the NF’s past leader remain as current and virile as ever. Some are even threatening to picket any meeting that he addresses or attends.

Following a newspaper report in Ireland about the BNP’s sympathy for McGeough, the BNP’s Ulster organiser has gone to hysterical lengths to laugh it off. Describing the story as “desperation”, Steven Moore realises that the BNP could be treading on some very sensitive toes if Griffin and Harrington decide to take the revolutionary garden path once more. Having helped organise a BNP “cultural event” in the loyalist heartland of East Belfast for Griffin last week, the last thing Moore wants is for what is left of the disillusioned paramilitaries in the area to turn their benign interest into a burning dislike for the party.

It is understood that the rival NF’s current leaders in Northern Ireland have photocopies of the article in the Irish press and are avidly distributing it to shocked BNP members there as they prepare to step up their activities.

To date neither the BNP nor Harrington has responded publicly, though we understand certain old enemies of Harrington high up in the BNP have been taking very long and deep breaths. Last night Harrington was asking for details of the moderator of the British Democracy Forum, no doubt so he could send him a legal letter to stop the appearance of further pictures of Harrington’s escapades in Belfast.

Civil liberty ended its article on McGeough by expressing its support for the “ethnic identity of the respective nations of the British Isles submerged for far too long under the dead hand of the British state”.

And one senior BNP official even turned up to a meeting of Irish Republicans in London last month to commemorate the Hunger Strikers.

No wonder the “loyalist” BNP is wriggling in silence.

BNP leader interferes in independent’s work

The leader of the British National Party is trying to interfere in the work of an independent member of the London Assembly.

Nick Griffin, who recently appointed himself acting London regional organiser for the racist party, visited Chris Roberts at his City Hall office on Friday to discuss “GLA work” according to a report on the BNP’s London Patriot website. Roberts is employed by the Greater London Authority as an assistant to Richard Barnbrook, who earlier this month resigned the BNP whip until “allegations of serious wrong doing concerning senior British National Party officials” are investigated.

Griffin’s attempt to influence Roberts to work in the interests of the BNP rather than for the member he is paid to assist is highly irregular. The previous night Griffin told a party meeting in Barking and Dagenham, from which many dissident longstanding activists had been excluded, that he himself would be taking charge of the party’s campaign for the London Assembly and mayoral elections in 2012.

“To be successful, the BNP need a high profile candidate who can generate the publicity needed to mobilise the capital’s remaining demoralised traditional British population to come out and vote,” wrote Martin Wingfield, Griffin’s communications officer following the meeting. But that’s not all, once elected the BNP representative must be influential within the Assembly chamber and make sure that the patriotic voice of British Nationalism is heard at every opportunity,” an implied criticism of Barnbrook’s failure to do so.

London Patriot also reports that Griffin had a long meeting on Friday with solicitors to prepare for the next round of the Equality and Human Rights Commission court case over the party’s racist constitution.

“Mr Griffin will be representing himself in court against a renewed attack from the EHRC which has included a request to have the BNP leader imprisoned,” according to London Patriot. Whether this is because the impecunious BNP cannot afford a barrister or because no barrister is prepared to act for the dictatorial BNP leader is not stated.

The Barking and Dagenham meeting was treated to more of Griffin’s lies in response to questions about serious irregularities in the party that have emerged during the course of Eddy Butler’s unsuccessful leadership challenge.

The raising of the nominations threshold for a leadership challenge – to 20% of members of at least two years’ standing – was, he claimed, not his decision but that of the members at a party general meeting on 14 February this year, which adopted the new party constitution.

In fact members were only shown those parts of the constitution that had been amended in response to the Equality Commission legal action. Griffin slipped in the new rules on leadership challenges without even showing those clauses to members expected to vote for them and the amended constitution could only be accepted or rejected as a whole.

He said he would now ask for changes to the constitution to give the party leader a longer term of office, in other words abolishing the right to challenge him each year.

Griffin was cagey in response to questions about the party’s contract with Jim Dowson, the fundraising consultant with a string of criminal convictions whom Griffin brought in at great expense at the start of 2008. One questioner pointed out that the contract Dowson produced at an employment tribunal hearing over the sacked BNP employee Michaela Mackenzie had ended at December 2009. Griffin said that was not true. He claimed that Dowson’s help had been “invaluable” and said he would extend the contract with him if he felt it was in the party’s interests to do so.

Many in the BNP believe that Griffin will extend Dowson’s contract if it is in Griffin’s and Dowson’s personal financial interests to do so, but those who might say that openly had been kept out of the meeting.

Griffin also blamed the BNP’s current dire financial state on those who had called for members to stop giving money to the party until there was greater financial transparency, claiming this had cost the party around £300,000, an unlikely figure, and an attempt to divert attention from the fact that it is Griffin’s reckless pursuit of hopeless legal actions and Dowson’s huge salary and commission that are the largest contributing factors to the BNP’s debt mountain, now believed to be around £600,000.

BNP fails to publish European expenses details

Porky Griffin - sleazy, racist and damned ugly, too

Nick Griffin, the British National Party leader and MEP, has not published details of his own expenses despite campaigning on an anti-sleaze platform during European elections

Nine months after accusing mainstream Westminster MPs and Brussels MEPs of having "their snouts in the trough", neither Mr Griffin, nor his BNP colleague Andrew Brons, have given any details of how they spend allowances worth a combined £530,000 every year. According to Mr Griffin's website: "All accounts and expenses will be published on this page for complete transparency as soon as they become available." The "accounts and expenses" website section for Mr Brons, a Yorkshire MEP, has remained blank since last July.

Other Labour, Conservative and Liberal Democrat MEPs have all given detailed breakdowns of how allowances are spent since the European elections last June. Most British MEPs give salary band details of employees and justify travel, subsistence and other expenses.

The most recent parliamentary "declarations of financial interest" for both MEPs date back to June 16 2009, just days after they were both elected. Neither declaration gives any details of annual expenses, worth over £280,000 for each man. Mr Griffin has used parliament assistant allowances, worth over £190,000, to employ three staff members, according to his website, but has given no details of their salary bands. Mr Brons employs four people but, also, gives no details of their wages.

One staffer, Martin Wingfield, is employed twice by both MEPs as a communications officer. Mr Wingfield's wife, Tina, also works for Mr Griffin.

European Parliament officials have told The Daily Telegraph that Mr Griffin and Mr Brons do not have any staffers accredited to work in the Brussels or Strasbourg seats of the EU assembly. The Daily Telegraph has also learnt that the Electoral Commission has opened an investigation into the BNP's accounts after the party's auditor refused to sign off accounts for 2008. The "case under review" concerns a suspected breach of the Political Parties, Elections and Referendums Act, which requires all party treasurers to file full and accurate accounts each year.

"There are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of reporting requirements," said a spokesman.

The BNP, Mr Griffin and Mr Brons yesterday declined to comment or answer questions about the use of their allowances. Chris Davies, a Liberal Democrat MEP for the North West, said: "The BNP's MEPs are shown to be less than open and transparent about their own financial affairs."

As well as staff allowances, both BNP MEPs, who earn a salary of £84,000 a year, receive a "general expenditure allowance" worth over £44,000 annually. While working in Brussels or Strasbourg, the two places where the parliament sits, MEPs pocket a £265 daily cash subsistence payment, worth over £40,000 tax-free every year.

BNP to vote on allowing non-whites to join party

BNP failed to to revise constitution after legal challenge from the Equality and Human Rights Commission last year

The BNP will vote today on whether to change its constitution to allow non-whites to join the party.

Following a legal challenge by the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) last year the BNP agreed to use "all reasonable endeavours" to revise its constitution to ensure it did not fall foul of race equality legislation. But the far-right party has so far failed to follow through on that promise and last month it was ordered to amend its rules, which restrict membership to "indigenous Caucasians", or face prosecution.

After the January hearing, BNP spokesman Simon Darby said the party would have to "emasculate its constitution" and described the case as "a deadly serious attempt to put us out of business".

The BNP rushed out letters to its 14,000 members in order to allow for the 14 days needed to alert them to the proposed changes. An extraordinary general meeting, being held today at a secret location, is widely expected to agree a new constitution.

Griffin has urged party members to back the changes to its constitution but has deplored the EHRC's actions and described them as a waste of money. He told the BBC that ethnic minority members would "be welcomed, providing they're there to do the things that we want to do, and providing they accept and agree with our principles".

Rajinder Singh, a Sikh man who has written Nick Griffin letters of support, provided the BNP leader with a character reference at his 2005 trial for inciting racial hatred, and appeared on the party's online TV channel, is believed to have been lined up as the first non-white member in the event that the constitution is amended.

The party's communications and campaigns officer Martin Wingfield personally endorsed him on his blog, calling for the BNP to "give the brave and loyal Rajinder Singh the honour of becoming the first ethnic minority member".

Griffin ditches North West to launch parliamentary campaign

Nick Griffin has lost interest in being a Member of the European Parliament and has abandoned the people of North West England who voted for him

Speaking a few days after the British National Party leader announced he would be standing in Barking in the general election, Simon Darby, the BNP deputy leader, said: “Nick believes he should be an MP in Westminster and not in the European Parliament”.

Darby was only confirming what was already clear: that Griffin has little concern for his North West of England constituency. While the people of Cumbria were suffering the heaviest rainfall ever recorded in England and even Griffin’s own publicly funded staff were worried that the roof of their new constituency office might blow off, Griffin went on a walkabout in his east London target seat, followed by a trip to Spain.

His actions have exposed him as the same type of power-hungry politician that he always accuses MPs from the three main parties of being.

Griffin claimed he had chosen Barking because it was the party’s best chance of winning a parliamentary seat. Yet only a few days before he announced his candidacy, at the party’s annual conference in Wigan, Greater Manchester, on 15 November, he had appealed for donations to launch the party’s “run-up campaign to the general election” with the promise: “In this next General Election I will be standing in Thurrock where the split vote between the old parties means we could win a Parliamentary seat with just 27% of the vote”.

Griffin had launched his campaign on a lie, as Searchlight quickly pointed out. Perhaps he thought donors were more likely to fund a campaign where the party’s target was 27% – and would overlook the improbability that such a low percentage could win them the seat – than an attempt to oust a government minister in a safe Labour seat.

Excuses followed in an attempt to cover up the blunder. Both Griffin and Darby claimed Griffin had been lured to Barking at the request of the party’s local councillors and members. Griffin also linked his decision with the party’s attempt to take over Barking and Dagenham in the May 2010 council election, which is likely to coincide with the general election, claiming his parliamentary campaign would enhance the council campaign.

And the party quickly issued a second fundraising letter from which all references to Thurrock had been expunged.

The BNP has 12 councillors in Barking and Dagenham, the largest BNP council group in the country. They have largely been ineffective against the huge Labour majority and many of them rarely attend meetings.

According to Griffin, the council campaign will be spearheaded by Richard Barnbrook, the BNP’s London Assembly member, who is currently appealing against his suspension from Barking and Dagenham council for bringing his office into disrepute by inventing a series of murders in the borough. Robert Bailey, the BNP’s leader on Barking and Dagenham council and the party’s London organiser, appears to have been sidelined.

Barnbrook’s wider ambitions have also been swept aside. At the end of September he rented a huge billboard by the side of the A406 in Barking, at great expense, to announce that it was “Barnbrook for Barking”. On his blog he proclaimed: “I, Richard Barnbrook am going to be Barking’s next MP! I’m the candidate for the British National Party …”. Lying that he had lived in the constituency for six years, he pleaded: “Back me, Richard Barnbrook, Barking’s next MP”.

Announcing his takeover of the Barking candidacy, Griffin paid tribute to Barnbrook. Acknowledging that Barnbrook had been the BNP’s prospective candidate – in an attempt to quash a widespread rumour that Barnbrook had claimed the role unilaterally – Griffin said: “You have made a most noble gesture Richard, and on behalf of the membership of our Party I would like to thank you”.

Barnbrook has not gone away without a consolation prize: he will be leader of Barking and Dagenham council if the BNP takes control of the borough. The fact that it would be up to the BNP councillors to choose the leader is presumably no barrier. If the new councillors are anything like the present lot, they will play little part in any council business.

Bailey too will not go away empty-handed. Griffin said that Barnbrook would give up his post as a London Assembly member if the party seized control of the borough. It would pass to Bailey, who was second on the BNP’s list of candidates in the 2008 election.

Before turning up in Barking on 19 November, Griffin had spent the morning in Grays, Essex, where he announced that he was handing the candidacy for Thurrock to Emma Colgate, the BNP’s local councillor. Colgate holds the balance of power on Thurrock council, which is split between Labour and the Conservatives, and used it to keep what another councillor described as a “dysfunctional Tory group” in power.

Colgate has been the BNP’s national administration officer since June. Before that she was Barnbrook’s researcher, employed at London taxpayers’ expense. She remains on the public payroll, however, as she is one of several BNP senior officers on the EU gravy train as staff for the two MEPs.

Despite Griffin’s optimism about the party’s prospects in Thurrock, she faces a difficult job. In the 2005 general election, the BNP candidate, Nick Geri, came fourth with 5.8% of the vote. Colgate herself stood in Basildon in 2005, where she came fourth with 4.8%.

Barking too will be a hard nut for the BNP to crack, which is why Griffin has said the party will spend the maximum legally allowed – several times more than it has ever spent in a single constituency.

Griffin will not have helped his campaign with his disparaging remarks about London after his disastrous performance on the BBC’s Question Time on 22 October, when he claimed the programme should not have been filmed in London because the city was “no longer British”.

Nor will his abandonment of his MEP’s role endear him to voters, who will think Griffin will only stick around until something better comes along.

Griffin’s Spanish jaunt on 21 November was also hardly how an aspiring MP should behave. Griffin was in Madrid as a special guest speaker at a rally of the far-right National Democracy party held to commemorate the death on 20 November 1975 of the Spanish fascist dictator General Franco. Also there was Griffin’s old friend and political mentor Roberto Fiore, the convicted former leader of the terrorist Armed Revolutionary Nuclei, the Italian group involved in the 1980 Bologna bombing.

The event resulted in 28 arrests of members of a rival far-right group, the Patriotic Socialist Movement, after they attacked doormen who were trying to stop them entering the hotel where the rally was taking place.

Not only did Griffin attend the fascist rally, “he may also have made a private visit to Franco’s tomb on his trip to Spain,” according to a BNP spokesman though Griffin later denied it.

Griffin has not, however, totally ignored the flooding in Cumbria. Between his trips to Barking and Madrid he asked Martin Wingfield, his constituency communications and campaigns officer, for a briefing. Griffin wants to help, said Wingfield, who would be offered Griffin’s seat as an MEP were Griffin to get elected in Barking. Griffin would consider offering his “English Fair Fund to support any local projects helping the stricken community,” Wingfield added.

Residents, at least the “indigenous ones”, will be relieved. Griffin’s so-called English Fair Fund is the 10% of his MEP’s salary that he promised during his European election campaign to give for “local community use”. That’s around £700 a month starting from 14 July, Griffin’s first day of work as an MEP, plus the income from selling Nick Griffin MEP commemorative cards printed for the BNP’s Red, White and Blue summer festival for £4.50 each.

That will go a long way. At the same time the BNP has poured scorn on the government’s announcement of £1 million in flood aid to Cumbria and cynically exploited people’s suffering as a means of attacking the government’s foreign aid budget.

Griffin’s candidacy in Barking and the BNP’s previous success in Barking and Dagenham have put the borough in the front line in HOPE not hate’s campaign against the BNP in the coming elections. The campaign will concentrate on getting voters to know exactly who Griffin is and persuading them to come out and vote against him.

An elderly Sikh who describes Islam as a "beast" and once provided a character reference for Nick Griffin during his racial hatred trial is set to become the British National Party's first non-white member.

Rajinder Singh, an anti-Islam activist in his late seventies who blames Muslims for the death of his father during the Partition of India in 1947, has been sympathetic towards Britain's far-right party for much of the past decade even though he currently remains barred from becoming a member because of the colour of his skin. But last weekend the BNP's leadership took their first steps towards dropping its membership ban on non-whites after the Human Rights Commission threatened the party with legal action. The move will be put to a vote of members soon.

Martin Wingfield, the BNP's communications and campaigns officer, has already put forward the case for Mr Singh's membership, telling members on its website: "I say adapt and survive and give the brave and loyal Rajinder Singh the honour of becoming the first ethnic minority member of the BNP."

A BNP spokesman said last night: "He is perhaps the kind of immigrant you want if you are going to have them."

Mr Singh, a former teacher from Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, says he would be "honoured" to become a card-carrying member of the BNP. Explaining his motives, Mr Singh said: "I am a retired teacher, living a quiet life. I got in touch with the BNP on certain core policies that appeal to me. I also admire them since they are on their own patch, and do not wish to let anyone else oust them from the land of their ancestors."

Mr Singh and another Sikh from Slough who goes by the pseudonym Ammo Singh have previously co-operated with the BNP and have been used by the party's leadership to try to woo Asian supporters, particularly Hindus and Sikhs living in areas where tensions with Muslims run high. The party has had little success, however, with all mainstream Sikh and Hindu groups widely condemning the BNP.

But Rajinder Singh and Ammo Singh – who keeps his identity secret but is thought to be an accountant in his late thirties – have answered Mr Griffin's call, thanks to the BNP's staunchly anti-Islamic rhetoric since September 11. In December 2001, Ammo Singh claimed he had helped the BNP distribute thousands of anti-Islamic leaflets in Southall, west London, but recently he has kept a low profile. Rajinder Singh, on the other hand, has begun to appear in BNP literature more frequently, writing for the party's newspaper, Freedom, and appearing on the internet television channel, BNPTV.

His intense dislike of Islam appears to stem back to his father's death during the Partition of India, which led to the deaths of an estimated two million Sikhs, Muslims and Hindus. "I come from partitioned Punjab that saw a lot of bloodshed in 1947," he said. "Anyone escaping that genocide would pray to God, [say] never again and vote for BNP."

Mainstream Sikh groups said they were appalled. Dr Indarjit Singh, director of the Network of Sikh Organisations, said: "Sikhism stresses equality for all human beings. Therefore Sikhs who are true to their faith, will having nothing whatsoever to do with any party that favours any one section of the community."

Rajinder Singh is well known to Nick Griffin and has been dodging around the BNP for some time. It was Singh who spoke up for Griffin as a character witness when he was in court at Leeds back in 2006, bizarrely claiming that Griffin wasn't racist. On that occasion, the BNP paid for a top hotel for the night for Mr S, and treated him to lunch at a pub - a fact that was heavily criticised at the time by the Sikh community, many of whom were demonstrating AGAINST Griffin outside the courtroom.

Singh has also addressed the Kirklees branch of the BNP, speaking about his hatred of Muslims. He was also in the BNP's 2004 election broadcast. He has been roundly condemned for his long-standing connections to the BNP and Nick Griffin.

Back in 2006, there was a bit of a fuss on the Stormfront nazi forum when it was announced that Singh was to attend the Kirklees meeting as the BNP's ethnic liaison committee leader. At that time, the likes of Arthur Kemp, who then ran the BNP’s indoctrination programme for voting members, openly posted on Stormfront, but along with the change in image over the past couple of years went a withdrawal from such places (at least under names that clearly identified the poster). This meant that Kemp went through Stormfront and carefully deleted most, if not all, of his posts. Fortunately, some of them are referred to in quotes.

Taxpayer foots bill for BNP minder

Nick Griffin, the BNP leader, has put his personal bodyguard on the European Union payroll as his party becomes the latest to exploit the political expenses system.

A dozen senior figures from the party make up a BNP entourage of publicly funded assistants. As MEPs, Griffin and Andrew Brons are entitled to claim a combined £382,000 a year to pay for their colleagues’ salaries.

Martin Reynolds, a 20-stone bodybuilder who is head of security and Griffin’s bodyguard, said he “honestly didn’t know” why he was justified in being paid by the taxpayer. He said of his job: “I just do the security side of it and personal assistant stuff and generally looking after him and making sure things are done for him.”

Griffin and Brons are also channelling payments to other “assistants” including Simon Darby, the BNP’s deputy leader, Eddy Butler, its national organiser, Emma Colgate, its national administration officer, and a number of regional organisers and councillors. Some have not been openly declared as working for either MEP and others have unsavoury backgrounds.

Martin Wingfield, former editor of the BNP’s monthly newspaper, Voice of Freedom, is being paid as an assistant by both Griffin and Brons. He served a three-month prison sentence in the 1980s for failing to pay a fine following convictions on two counts of inciting racial hatred with election literature.

Adam Walker, head of Solidarity, the BNP’s supposed trade union, is being paid through Brons’s funds. Walker had to resign his teaching post in 2007 after being accused of posting anti-Muslim comments on the web using a school laptop.

All the BNP hierarchy’s new salaries, which go up to £25,000 a year, are allocated out of a personal £191,000 a year “assistants’ allowance” to which every MEP is entitled. EU rules state that assistants must justify their taxpayer-funded salaries by doing work which is “directly linked to the exercise of a member’s parliamentary mandate”.

John Walker, the party’s deputy press spokesman, confirmed that he was being paid £18,000 a year in taxpayers’ money. He also receives £6,000 a year from the party.

“I am expected to do two days a week for Andrew and two days a week for Nick. And then the other day . . . is for the party,” he said. Walker added that the BNP was “sensitive” to the fact that the rules emphasise all work must relate to the MEP’s role and not the party.

When Reynolds was asked what “specifically” he does for his EU salary, he said: “I honestly don’t know.”

He added: “I never got paid before, all our security was done for no payment whatsoever. I was an electrician.” He declined to say what his pay is now. He said he was not sure if he also received a salary from the party: “I don’t know the ins and outs of my finances, my wife sorts all that out.”

John Thompson, the BNP’s accountant, said the party’s MEPs were using about half their full allowances and explained that the level of salary varied. “The top level might be £25,000 and the lowest £8,000,” he said.

Walker said: “I suppose we are going to publish the breakdown [of taxpayer-funded salaries] but whether they will go as far as individual remunerations I don't know.”

Violent Racist Runs Penrith BNP Campaign

The BNP like to tell people that they are a mainstream political party following the election in June of their leader Nick Griffin to the European Parliament.

Griffin has just recently unveiled his new office in Cumbria which is to be used as a base for the North West region that as an MEP he represents. However take a careful look at the North West region and you will find the same old violent racists within the rank and file of the BNP.

The BNP are contesting a by election to be held on October 8th in the Penrith West ward of Eden District Council. This follows the resignation last month of former council leader Colin Nineham. Of key importance to this campaign is the local Penrith organiser Kevin Clark who was recently described by Nick Griffins new European communications officer Martin Wingfield as “ A great BNP stalwart ”

Far right stalwart he maybe but Clark is also a convicted self confessed racist.

In 1996 Clark was found guilty of malicious wounding and jailed for 18 months. Clark was convicted following an unprovoked attack on a Gambian Rugby player Osman Cham during a rugby tournament being held in Penrith. Clark shouted “Sambo”, as well as making monkey noises.

When Mr Cham went over to remonstrate, Clark struck him over the head with a bottle. The wound needed five stitches and Mr Cham fainted from loss of blood. Clark showed no remorse and admitted that he was a racist bigot.

“I don’t like coloured people”, he told police.

His spell of porridge seems to have made little difference however as Clark still appears to be the virulent racist. On his Facebook page Clark likes to mock the Holocaust by making sick jokes about notorious Nazi extermination camp Auschwitz. Over one million people perished within the death camp yet Clark feels it is a subject to mock.

Clark posted "Will people stop sending me Auschwitz jokes, my poor grandfather died a horrible death at Auschwitz...he fell out the machine gun tower".

Another of Clarks racist postings says "When is the only time you should wink at a Muslim? When your (sic) taking aim at the cunt".

Clark also finds time after a hard days campaigning to take part in Facebook groups such as “FTP- Fuck The Pope” and “We are proud to call ourselves Aryan”

No doubt the BNP will try their tried and trusted trick of declaring that Clark is not a member of the party and they are unable to find his details on their databases. Well the bad news for the BNP is that Kevin Clark has posted a picture of his current membership card on his Facebook profile and it is still very much valid.

Once again we await the immediate expulsion of Kevin Clark from the BNP.

BNP campaign comes off the rails

‘‘We rather it hadn’t happened! ’’ That was the conclusion of Martin Wingfield, editor of the British National Party’s Voice of Freedom monthly, on the MPs’ expenses scandal. He was writing three weeks before polling day amid growing signs that the BNP’s campaign for the European election was falling apart.

MPs’ expenses had come on top of the “economic meltdown, credit crunch, Muslim threat, the loony left, employment, and home repossessions” combined with “a hated government and a mealy-mouthed Tory party” that Griffin claimed in a fundraising appeal in March would create a “perfect political storm” that would “result in this party exploding onto the world stage by taking several seats in the European Parliament”.

Yet even after days of media focus on political sleaze the opinion polls were reporting that the BNP was still only attracting 3-4% of the vote, far short of what it needed to win even one seat in Europe. It was the eurosceptic UK Independence Party to which disillusioned voters were turning.

Wingfield put it down to the “voter volatility” that the expenses scandal had caused. “Without the expenses scandal, the BNP was quietly working towards having three MEPs elected on June 4th,” he wrote. “It would have taken a political earthquake to stop us winning in the North West, Yorkshire and the West Midlands … and now, of course, that is exactly what has happened.”

What had happened was that the BNP had attracted the attention it craved, but the media were not playing ball. Journalists, with a little help from Searchlight, were looking beyond the BNP’s carefully cultivated veneer of respectability and finding the same old fascist party it had always been.

The media did not have to dig far to find the BNP’s racism and shamefulness, which led Richard Pendlebury in the Mail on Sunday to describe it as “a marginal group with a rotten ideological core”. There was the embarrassing Activists’ and Organisers’ Handbook, which found it necessary to tell members not to look and behave like thugs and banned them from setting up local BNP websites and blogs because “they can’t write proper English” and “get carried away promoting cyberspace conspiracy theories which, even if true, strike the public as barking mad”.

Then there was the Language and Discipline Manual, which instructed members not to refer to “Black Britons” and “Asian Britons” because “such persons do not exist”. Exposure forced party bosses quickly to rewrite it.

The media revis-ited other episodes that the BNP would have prefer-red forgotten, such as the participation of its deputy leader, Simon Darby, at a fascist conference in Milan in April, where he was greeted by fascist stiff-right-arm salutes. The BNP’s claim that Private Johnson Beharry did not deserve his Victoria Cross and was only awarded it because he was black came back to haunt the party.

Darby came out with a clumsy attack on the Archbishop of York, John Sentamu, describing him as an “ambitious African” and referring to his fellow Ugandans as spear-throwers. The BNP demanded that a banned Ku Klux Klan leader should be allowed to enter Britain, but was less keen on Gurkhas, with Griffin on Radio 5 Live describing them as “mercenaries” and saying, “We don’t think the most overcrowded country in Europe can realistically say, ‘Look, you can all come and all your relatives’.”

It did not help the BNP campaign when Richard Barnbrook, the BNP’s most senior elected politician, got an airing for his admission that he had invented three murders in Barking and Dagenham to highlight knife crime, a claim for which he could be suspended from the London Assembly for up to six months.

And Bob Bailey, the BNP’s London organiser, was caught mass mailing implicitly threatening emails to anti-fascists. When challenged he said lamely: “I’m not denying I sent it but I can’t remember”.

There was worse, far worse. The BNP’s main slogan for the campaign is “British jobs for British workers”. It is illustrated ubiquitously by a picture of three white men in hard hats in front of a Union Flag. But they were no British workers.

The BNP had bought the image from a picture agency. The men were American models who posed for a general photo shoot in Portland, Oregon.

Other images on the millions of election leaflets the BNP had printed for distribution by the Royal Mail had also come from agencies. Alongside a white pensioner couple are the words: “We’ve seen how this country has declined under the present government and we’re voting BNP because they will put pensioners before asylum seekers and ensure our future.”

The couple turned out to be the Italian parents of the agency photo-grapher, who were appalled that their picture had been used to spread far-right propaganda. A doctor, a Guardsman and a mother, all quoted supporting the BNP, were no more genuine.

The former Scots Guards NCO Stuart Walker was shocked when the leaflet dropped through his letterbox with his picture and the made-up quote implying he would back the BNP because the party would stop soldiers being “abused” by Muslims. “They are scumbags and I’d never vote for them in a million years,” he told The Sun, adding that when he phoned the BNP to complain he was told to “f*** off”.

The only British voters on the leaflets were the Cass family, who in last year’s local elections appeared on BNP material all around the country pretending to be local voters – everywhere. Deceit is nothing new for the BNP.

The pictures were not the only lies. The leaflet outlined three key BNP pledges. One was to oppose “the dangerous drive … to give 80 million low-wage, Muslim Turks the right to swamp Britain”. But the population of Turkey is only just over 75 million and growing slowly, and they are by no means all low-waged.

No wonder many Royal Mail staff refused to deliver the BNP leaflets.

The British workers’ image has been plastered over the side of the BNP’s “truth truck”, better known as the lie lorry, a white Iveco advertising vehicle with Northern Irish registration plates. It toured the country during the campaign, though remarkably almost all the many pictures that appeared on BNP websites showed it cruising empty streets.

The BNP claimed to have bought the “truth truck” last year after a successful appeal to supporters to raise the £26,550 needed. In his 2009 New Year address, Griffin wrote, “your cash allowed the party to buy our very own state of the art advertising lorry and roll out the first of many nationwide Truth Truck Tours”.

It turned out to be another deception. Mark Croucher, a UKIP activist and freelance journalist, had obtained a county court judgment for several thousand pounds against the BNP for infringement of copyright for using one of his photographs without permission. When bailiffs tried to enforce the judgment by seizing the vehicle the BNP’s solicitors responded that: “the goods referred to are registered in the name of another person who … has no connection with the judgement debtors”.

The BNP’s campaign has run into other money troubles. In March the party started appealing for the £395,000 needed centrally to fight the European election. It included £210,000 to print 29 million leaflets, though this was not entirely honest as each region was also expected to raise the money itself for its own leaflets. It was because London region was unable to raise enough that it only had the A5 version of the BNP leaflet, according to Bailey.

There was also £25,000 for billboard advertising during the final two and a half weeks of the campaign and an-other £25,000 for newspaper adverts, including the online adverts that have appeared, though not for long, on local newspaper websites. All feature the stock American “British workers” picture.

A thermometer-style graphic on the BNP website showed rapid progress up to a bit over £325,000 and there it stuck. A succession of increasingly desperate campaign emails to supporters pleaded for donations to raise the final £90,000.

But the party could not leap the final hurdle. On 11 May David Hannam, the BNP deputy treasurer, passed on a letter from Griffin to branch fund-holders (the BNP term for treasurers) asking them to make all surplus funds available to Central Office “ASAP”. “Work with me on this it really is all hands on deck!” the letter ended.

On 18 May another campaign email appealed for the final £35,393, although the thermometer graphic, no longer on the BNP site’s home page, still showed a shortfall nearer to £60,000.

The BNP claims to be receiving 100 enquiries a day at its new call centre, the fruit of its “rapid expansion plan”, which Griffin claims raised £85,000 to equip four new party offices across the country. At its campaign launch in Grays the BNP proudly showed a film of its new staff hard at work in near identical surroundings. A sceptic might wonder whether was the same office filmed from different angles.

Amid all the bad publicity surrounding the BNP, the party grabbed the chance to crow after The Sun printed a story about a damaging BNP local leaflet that attacked the Gurkhas. The BNP said the leaflet was a forgery, The Sun took the story off its website and Griffin lied blatantly that he had always supported the Gurkhas. Had a maverick BNP supporter decided to set his very own Reichstag fire to kick new life into a faltering campaign?

The latest BNP begging letter implored: “It is crucial that we win a seat”. It was a far cry from the “six or seven” seats the party thought possible when Griffin appealed for funds in March. His desperation was palpable, as was his very personal interest in the outcome. “If you want to see me elected on June 4th … Help me now!” he wrote in a postscript.

The BNP has poured everything into this campaign. Griffin’s emails repeat the mantra, “We won’t get a second chance! It’s now or never”, and he is probably right. If the BNP cannot make it in the present political and economic climate, it never will.

Senior Labour MP accuses BBC of 'whitewash' over coverage of BNP rise to power

BBC bosses are under fire for going soft on the far right British National Party.

News chiefs at the corporation were accused of a ‘whitewash’ for delaying an investigation into the extremist views of the BNP until after the European elections next month. The poll on June 4th could see the neo-fascist group gain British seats in the Brussels Parliament for the first time.

Campaigners and MPs said that politically correct liberals at the BBC are ‘being played like fools’ for treating the BNP like ‘any other political party’. The party’s leader Nick Griffin has already been offered a one to one chat with the BBC interviewer Andrew Marr if his party acquires its first MEP.

The anti-fascist campaign group Searchlight called for an explanation of the BBC’s decision to postpone the broadcast of an investigation into a senior British National Party activist with links to the South African security services. The shelved investigation, being produced by BBC Wales, features Arthur Kemp, the South African head of BNP election distribution, who was arrested following the murder of anti-apartheid activist Chris Hani, in 1993.

Although subsequently released, Kemp admitted producing a list of names of prominent ANC activists that was found at the home of one of Hani’s killers.

Searchlight is also angry that a Newsnight report titled ‘the rising power of the BNP’ broadcast last week concluded: ‘It looks like a more moderate BNP courting voters this spring.’ The programme failed to mention that Clive Jefferson one of the BNP activists it interviewed was arrested two years ago for an alleged public order offence, following a complaint from a member of the public that he had been threatening and abusive whilst distributing BNP literature.

A second BNP figure featured in the report, Martin Wingfield, was arrested, prosecuted and imprisoned in 1985 under the Race Relations Act, following distribution of racist literature. His criminal record was not mentioned either and BNP Deputy Leader Simon Darby advised his members to watch the broadcast, claiming it was, ‘not a bad piece overall’.

Senior Labour MP Jon Cruddas has written to Helen Boaden, the director of BBC News to call for a change of tack, after it also emerged that BNP spokesman have also been interviewed by a BBC camera crew for a second Newsnight piece on ‘British Jobs For British Workers’, a phrase used by Gordon Brown but now appropriated as the BNP’s election slogan.

He wrote: ‘It seems to me that there is total confusion within the BBC regarding editorial policy towards the British National Party. Membership of the BNP is proscribed in a number of public sector organisations, such as the Police and the Prison Service. It is not, ‘just another political party’.

‘There is no attempt to scrutinise the BNP on their extremist policy platform, their membership, their links to other extremist organisations, or their extremist philosophy.’

Mr Cruddas said: ‘Their activists are featured, but not challenged. Issues favourable to their agenda are analysed on national news and current affairs outlets. Invitations are extended to their spokesman indicating they are to be treated as if they are a mainstream political party. And programmes which expose their extremist and racist agenda are shelved. It is imperative that common sense and clarity are brought to the Corporation’s editorial policy towards this neo-Fascist organisation.’

A Searchlight spokesman added: ‘The BBC are being played like fools by the BNP. The Newsnight broadcast was a whitewash, and now they’re axing programmes because of pressure from Nick Griffin and his thugs.

'If the BBC want to cover the BNP that’s fine, but they have to challenge them and properly expose their agenda of prejudice and hate.’

For all the crowing over the BNP's recent run of good local by-election results of late you could be forgiven for thinking that Gordon Brown was preparing to surrender his premiership to Nick Griffin some time towards the end of next week.

Now you and I know that reality and the BNP aren't exactly bosom buddies, and so none of us were surprised that when Paul Golding took Swanley (Sevenoaks) for the racist party the effect on the membership wasn't too different to that of their having taken a collective LSD trip. Suddenly everything and everything was possible - providing you ignored the awkwardly bad results obtained in Bilton Harrogate and Downham Lewisham on the same night.

However, as the cliché goes, a week is a long time in politics.

Out in the East Midlands - scene of many a BNP triumph - the party stood in a by-election for Broxtowe Council's Conservative-held Greasley (Giltbrook & Newthorpe) ward on Thursday, making little secret of their vaulting expectations: to come second, and a good second at that, capitalising on Labour difficulties to push them into third place.

Complacency is never a virtue in politics, and unpleasant things tend to happen to political parties suffering from the affliction.

The BNP's online army left off attacking "anti-British traitor" and "old hag" Vera Lynn and eagerly awaited the Greasley result, drinks at the ready, fingers poised to tap out paeans of praise for another job well done by the unstoppable BNP, onwards and upwards, Rule Nickannia and all that - then got the discomfiting news that their candidate had come third, and a bad third at that.

In fact, it was even worse than the BNP expected.

"The BNP need a 13% vote share across the East Midlands on June 4th to get that MEP, and in Broxtowe our candidate Wayne Shelbourn and his team managed to reach that target by the skin of their teeth," writes a ruffled Martin Wingfield on the BNP website - managing somehow to avoid telling his troops that the BNP did not "reach that target", they sank to it, losing 4% of their vote (with averaging - this is a multi-member ward) while the Labour vote rose by almost the same proportion.

All too predictably when the BNP encounters electoral setbacks it grumpily looks around to give somebody a poke in the eye, and the recipient is usually the UKIP. "The night was another disaster for UKIP with their candidate receiving a derisory 31 votes, just 1.4%," says Wingfield.

It wasn't exactly a night of glory for the BNP either, was it Martin? The truth is the BNP were badly burned in Broxtowe, and if a fall in votes is what Wingfield considers to be "reaching targets" then we wish him and the BNP every success in achieving them.

Failure fails

If I just say "Patrick Harrington" and "Solidarity" could you please get over your laughter as quickly as possible and return your attention to me?

Better now? Then I'll begin.

First of all, let's take a glimpse at the one big fighting union in action (and, just for once we don't mind linking to a fascist video): click here.

I don't know about you, but - including the cameraman - I make that four people doing their best to endanger the jobs of the employees at that Total station (but what else would you expect from a fascist "trade union"?).

And that seems to be the sum total (sorry) of the militant fighting brotherhood's contribution to the fight to secure British jobs for British workers.

Last year the one big union skulked around the backstreets of Birmingham, where a whole 27 of them decided that "together we are strong" and held their AGM under tight security at a hotel specially conned for the purpose. At that time Patrick Harrington claimed 211 members for his toy union, but as the union's murky accounts were later forced to admit, the membership then was a miserable 124.

Despite the public availability of its accounts, Harrington repeated the 211 claim at the union's most recent badly-attended AGM in Spennymoor (February 21st), adding that membership had risen to 436 - which (on the dubious assumption that it's even in the same room as the truth) is a fair way short of the 500 target our favourite fantasist set for the end of 2008

Basically the never-knowingly successful Harrington was admitting to another failure in a political life characterised by nothing else. Despite Harrington and the BNP pumping the cases of the Walker brothers and the leaked BNP membership list for all they were worth the BNP membership at large has still refused to entrust either their employment prospects or their cash into the hands of the bogus "trade union".

So it was that a tiny band of brothers gathered together in Spennymoor last week to hold their grand AGM, there to hatch mighty plans and, oh! to excuse themselves for being "caught on the hop" by the recent wildcat strikes, despite the strikes going on for a considerable time. Harrington and company must have been on some hop to have missed that particular boat, but never mind - Harrington set matters right by getting out his customary thundering declamation on the issue through the useless Accentuate PR company. It's buried somewhere on the Solidarity website, if you can be bothered to look.

For some time we've been expecting the arrest of a certain Mr Philip Bryant, proprietor of the demented racist mind behind the BNP-supporting Battle for Britain blog. It took longer than expected, but we suppose the police have bigger fish to fry - and others of Bryant's ilk to investigate...

Before getting to the heart of the matter, let's acquaint ourselves with a small selection of some of Bryant's more eloquent outpourings as made to the Norfolk Unity blog:

Well, there are a lot more and a lot worse, but you get the picture.

Until 7.50 am on Thursday the strangely un-sectioned Bryant appears to have laboured under the delusion that he could transmit any offensive message he wished across the internet without consequence to himself - like many racists he nurses an immutable belief that it is his perfect right to say whatever he likes about whoever he likes in terms as abominable as he likes. It's about free speech, after all - or so the racists tell us.

Barking and Dagenham councillor Shaun Carroll disagreed when he became subject to Bryant's warped ideas of free speech in a threatening email from the bilious blogger, wherein Bryant accused a staggered Cllr. Carroll of being a "pervert" and a "kiddie fiddler". Cllr. Carroll duly reported the matter to the police and the long awaited knock on Bryant's door came on Thursday morning, whereupon Bryant was transported across London to Dagenham police station, there to face the music.

According to Bryant's account, he told the police that he did not believe he had committed an offence (nor, for the matter of that, did he believe it should be an offence), and after chewing it over for some time the police decided not to charge Bryant provided he accepted an adult caution.

Bryant accepted the caution because he "wouldn't have a leg to stand on" had the case gone to court, and aware that he was adding to an existing a criminal record - "numerous minor offences" as he puts it, though he does not state what these offences were.

He then says that following his caution he was led into the presence of two Scotland Yard officers, who were eager for a friendly chat concerning his online habits:

The strangest question they asked me was whether I knew the Green Arrow personally! I find this strange because the first thing I do on my computer every morning is to visit the BNP website followed by the Green Arrow blog. Have the police been spying on my surfing habits!!!!

Well of course they have! Where else were they going to collect evidence against him? Bryant has been complaining for some time about interference with his internet connection, seeming to believe that little green men have been crawling around in his hard drive - in fact data collection for police evidence can be performed either at his local BT exchange or through his ISP, and if he's using a wireless connection it's even easier than that, as the net-savvy will know.

Mention of Paul Morris, the Nantyglo Nazi, aka Green Arrow, gave the police-hating BNP blogging bigot a welcome chance to puff out his chest and bask in his own boundless self-importance, utterly insensible to his own overblown pomposity (which may or may not be the reason Morris found his marital status recently reverting to that of "single").

Windier than a Chicago gale (and clearly with the wind up him), Morris fearlessly tells the Special Branch spooks who allegedly catalogue his every move and note down every last click of his mouse button:

If you have any "new" questions for me, come and get me. You know where I am. You have had a file on me now for over thirty years and you should know that, as one of your men said to me over a year ago, "In all that time, you have never dropped the flag" and I never will.

There he goes again - pretending to have a fascist history we all know to be a figment of his imagination. And how about that quote: "In all that time, you have never dropped the flag"? Of course he hasn't - he would have had to have been carrying it in the first place. But to us the quote sounds more like Paul Morris saying what Paul Morris would most like to hear than anything likely to have left the lips of a policeman. A little like:

But I will not, cannot, stand by and let the patriots of the BNP fight my battles for me like many choose to do. I will take my place in the Shieldwall until we have taken Our Country back or I am dead.

Providing the shieldwall is safely located in cyberspace we have no doubt whatsoever that Morris can be relied upon to fight to the last megabyte of his hard-disk's capabilities.

It's all a far cry from Redwatch-admirer Morris's "I could be killed" whining when Norfolk Unity paid him back in his own coin by publishing his name and other details, which this unmanly coward was desperate to keep secret while simultaneously (and amateurishly) attempting to discover the personal details of such as yours truly.

And finally, another pro-BNP blogger desperate to keep his (or maybe her?) identity secret is the pond life behind the "Britain Awake" site. Responding to the death of little Ivan Cameron this nauseating Nutzi posts:

Trouble upstairs: Members leaving and newspaper ‘ineffective’, BNP officers told

Secret minutes obtained by Searchlight reveal a party struggling with several problems. Sonia Gable reveals what is really going on at the top of the BNP.

Nick Griffin, the British National Party leader, may have been wrong-footed by this year’s attempt to mount a challenge to his position. Colin Auty, a BNP councillor in Dewsbury until he resigned from the party in July, failed narrowly to gain the 100 signatures he needed to stand against Griffin but the attempt seems to have panicked the party leadership.

An extraordinary general meeting held at the end of the party’s Red, White and Blue festival last month was supposed to make it much more difficult for anyone to challenge Griffin in future. However BNP members led by Richard Barnbrook, the party’s top man in London, threw out a proposal that the party chairman should be elected for a four-year fixed term, leaving in place the present annual right to call an election.

A change to the party constitution that did get passed was that candidates for leader will now have to obtain the backing of 5% of members with more than two years’ unbroken membership of the party instead of the present 100 signatures from members of two years’ standing, where the candidate is not a party office-holder. Those few people designated as office-holders need only 10 signatures.

Auty’s supporters condemned the decision, calculating that with the leadership claiming around 10,000 members, it meant a challenger would need up to 500 signatures to stand. Griffin therefore “did in fact walk away with the entire Party almost secured in his back pocket unnoticed by most of the membership present”, they said.

In reality it means nothing of the sort. The latest BNP accounts certainly state that the party had 9,784 members at 31 December 2007, compared to 6,281 at 31 December 2006. And Searchlight has acquired minutes of a meeting on 20 July 2008 of the BNP’s Advisory Council (AC), which brings together all the BNP’s leading officers, in which the membership at 14 July 2008 is said to be 9,175, the drop no doubt the result of the dissent in the BNP last winter.

However, Tina Wingfield, the membership secretary, expresses concern at the very low renewal rate of new members. Of the 373 and 854 new memberships processed in February and March 2007, she reported to the AC, only 32% and 39% respectively renewed the following year. And of the 9,175 members in July, 1,832 had joined between March and June 2008.

These revelations suggest that the number of people with more than two years’ party membership is at the most 2,000 and possibly no more than 1,000. A further indication appears in the report to the AC from the education and training department, which stated that the number of “voting members” was a mere 243. Members only qualify for this status if they have been in the party for at least two years, though they also have to meet activist and ideological training conditions.

It does not take much mathematical genius to calculate that 5% of a possible 2,000 qualifying members is 100, the same as the present endorsers needed to challenge Griffin. And if, as is more likely, the two-year membership figure is little more than 1,000, a challenger would have to find a mere 50 or so supporters.

A further change to the constitution introduces a new opportunity for just 20 voting members to demand a leadership challenge at the party’s autumn annual general meeting. But as voting members have to undergo ideological training by Arthur Kemp, the South African white supremacist and former apartheid regime spook who rose rapidly to a senior role in the BNP last year, Griffin is no doubt confident of their trustworthiness.

Attacking Searchlight

Kemp is editor of the BNP’s website and has until recently been acting managing director of the party’s Excalibur merchandising operation and responsible for the distribution of the party’s monthly publications, Identity and Voice of Freedom. These tasks have left him with little time to attend to BNP propaganda efforts, but the one “successful” project he was able to report to the July meeting was “an eight-page full colour booklet entitled ‘Searchlightexposed.com’”.

This, he explained, “was not for general distribution”, but “was sent directly to the editors, political journalists and senior journalists at all major mainstream newspapers around the country,” and “played a major role in the very low amount of publicity given by the mainstream media to Searchlight-propaganda during the election campaign”.

Only in Kemp’s dreams! Media coverage of the BNP in the run-up to the elections of 1 May showed no evidence that journalists and editors had done anything other than bin the BNP’s eight pages of lies and libels.

The production of this booklet, a tactic Kemp says “will be repeated at regular intervals”, proves only that our anti-BNP campaigns are effective and are hurting the BNP. Griffin’s introduction to the party’s 2007 accounts complains angrily about “third party disparagers” of the BNP in election campaigns, funded by the trade unions, and singles out the Daily Mirror, which printed “hundreds of thousands of copies of a special supplement directed against the BNP”. This of course is the supplement prepared in conjunction with Searchlight, an exercise that the Mirror successfully repeated this year alongside our Hope not Hate campaign.

AC members were not able to question Kemp about his dubious claims as he was unable to attend the meeting. One man who was present and may have helped Kemp compile the torrent of lies was Lance Stewart, the shadowy head of the BNP’s intelligence department and former high-ranking member of the South African police. Other notable BNP personalities at the AC, which has little real power in a party run as Griffin’s personal fiefdom, included Barnbrook; his Barking and Dagenham council colleague Bob Bailey; Jennie Noble, the BNP’s new treasurer; Michaela Mackenzie, the national nominating officer; Martin Reynolds who heads the BNP’s thuggish security section; the unpopular Mark Collett and David Hannam both supposedly demoted last winter to appease the BNP rebels; Peter Mullins and Mike Howson from the South West; the deputy leader Simon Darby and of course Griffin himself.

Ineffective

Also present was Martin Wingfield, editor of Voice of Freedom, the BNP’s tabloid newspaper, who must have been dismayed when Griffin said that his publication had proved ineffective as a recruitment tool and may be discontinued, although it might remain in online form.

Another suggestion discussed was to publish only bimonthly to save on the £3,258 a month it costs to have the paper printed and shipped from Lithuania. This amounts to 17p a copy, which is rather a lot considering most copies are not sold but given away. And that does not include the £600 the party pays to transport the papers to branches from the BNP warehouse in North Wales each month.

The unit cost is so high because contrary to the tens of thousands of copies the BNP has always claimed to distribute, the print run is only 19,000, according to the AC minutes. Considering how many copies are given away to members of the public, one can only conclude that most party members cannot be bothered to subscribe to the paper.

Three years ago police seized the entire print run of Voice of Freedom in Dover, on its way from Slovakia where it was then being printed. Reports at the time mentioned 60,000 copies. Has the BNP been lying or has Wingfield presided over a disastrous fall in circulation at a time when the BNP has supposedly been so successful in attracting support?

The minutes record that “a printer in the North East” has offered 100,000 copies at 3.5p per copy but clearly the only use the party would have for such a print run would be to feed the recycling bins at the BNP warehouse.

The AC also heard that support for and development of party branches and groups had been a problem area since the expulsion last December of Sadie Graham, the party’s former group development officer and one of the leaders of the party rebels. Her departure followed that of Ian Dawson as head of group support a few months earlier. Tina Wingfield reported: “Before January of this year, we had two individuals on the full-time staff dedicated to group development and group support and their departure has left a vacuum in our administrative structure that needs to be filled”.

To the rescue came the ubiquitous Kemp, who will take over group support in his time out from attacking Searchlight. One of his first tasks, it seems, will be to train the apparently large number of local party organisers who do not know how to use computers.

The AC was unable to complete its agenda through lack of time but not before discussing an approach by Ashley Mote to head the BNP candidates’ list for the South East in next year’s European elections. Mote is currently an independent MEP, having been expelled from the UK Independence Party following his conviction for housing benefit fraud.

Collett and some others felt the publicity of an ex-UKIP MEP joining the BNP would rejuvenate the party, others did not trust Mote to stay with the BNP if elected. The upshot was that the AC voted to reject Mote’s offer apparently on the grounds that his conviction would result in adverse publicity and prove detrimental to the party’s reputation, a view the party does not normally take towards its members’ convictions.

Martin Wingfield, the current editor of the BNP's trashy tabloid, the Voice of Freedom, has reacted badly to the article in last Wednesday's Mirror about the party's Youth Camp, where future members of the Hitl - BNP were given 'ideological training', lectures in how to argue with their 'Marxist' teachers and shown how to handle - among other things - knives and guns.

Admitting that he is no 'fan of youth organisations connected to political parties', Wingfield refers directly to the ideological training, stating that it leaves the party 'vulnerable to the brainwashing charge'. Well, yes, because that's what it is. But he is not only concerned about brainwashing. As he rightly points out;

'In nationalist politics over the years, we have only received detrimental publicity concerning our youth wings - from the leafletting at school gates charge, through to targeting football supporters and now to learning about guns and knives at a summer camp.'

He should know. Wingfield has been around the far-right for donkey's years and no doubt remembers the furore caused once when a bunch of fascists turned up to leaflet outside a West Country school's gates and were promptly reported to the police. Eventually, nearly a dozen of them were nicked.

Or perhaps he's thinking of the attempts to leaflet crowds of football fans when a good few of the BNP's supporters are violent football hooligans (like the late Luke Smith, chosen by the party - despite his extensive record of hooliganism - to become a councillor in Burnley).

Possibly he remembers back to before the days of the Red, White and Blue, when the BNP ran a youth camp at which the main attraction was weapons training using paintball guns - the BNP has always had a penchant for playing toy soldiers. On this occasion, one of the kids thought he'd quite like to keep one of the paintball guns for himself but was caught and asked in no uncertain terms if he was trying to commit suicide. Why? Because the guns belonged to former-Griffin bodyguard and gangster Joe Owens, a self-confessed thug who has been accused of a zillion crimes including a number of murders.

Whether Wingfield remembers these incidents from personal experience or not, he writes;

'...all those associated with the Young BNP [give] our youngsters an exciting time and a grounding in the values that are important to us'

Presumably those values include a grounding in using guns and knives, a pastime that earned this rebuke from Home Office Minister Tony McNulty;

'[It is] disgraceful to teach children to use weapons at a time when the scourge of knife crime among the young [is] such a problem...I have never seen anything so irresponsible. Teaching young children to use knives and guns is reprehensible but it is what you expect from such a sick and twisted party.'

Perhaps Wingfield really does believe that the BNP running kiddie gun camps is out of order - or possibly he just has a stick up his arse at the moment because Searchlight has got hold of the fact that his favourite toy - Voice of Freedom - could be about to be taken away from him (read the current issue of Searchlight for more details). Either way, he isn't any too happy as redundancy looms. Unlike his lord and master, Nick Griffin, there will be no £30,000 pay-off if he's thrown on to the scrapheap.

The Whore of Revelation and the BNP speaker who wants to destroy Catholics

Disturbed and disturbing

In May 2008, as the start of a series of articles on the anti-Catholic bigotry that haunts the BNP, we revealed the anti-Catholic prejudice of BNP candidate Alan Girvan and the anti-Catholic violence of BNP northern Ireland organiser Andy McLorie (see link). This article, the second instalment in that series, was triggered by three incidents: the BNP legal director Lee Barnes’ recent claim that the Saxon races were forced to convert to the Catholic faith; the recent sectarian murder of a young Catholic man by the neo-nazi terrorist group Combat 18 (1 = A, 8 = H. This gives AH or Adolf Hitler), set up the BNP in the 1990s; and, the claim by a racist BNP poster called ‘BNP Supporter’ on the Angry Of Havering Forum that:

“A lot of the BNP supporters on this site have pointed out that this is a christain country and that faith has come under attack from other religions in recent years. It actually goes further this is a PROTESTANT country and the religion is the Church of England and this will be the only faith taught in our school. Catholicism is as much a threat to us as Islam. Our Queen is head of the Church of England and the monarch should always be a protestant but in recent years the Catholics have been trying to have this law removed so the monarch can be any faith. Tony Blair was a secret catholic for may years as Prime Minister and only converted publicly when he left office. Britain for the British”

It was whilst researching these incidents that we discovered the frightening anti-Catholic hatred and racism of the clearly disturbed BNP speaker and Australian immigrant Alan O’Reilly. A fanatical devotee of BNP leader Nick Griffin and operator of the Cleveland BNP blog (BNP for Cleveland), Alan O’Reilly should be prosecuted for incitement of hatred against Catholics.
This article will expose, in detail, the sick and reprehensible views of BNP speaker and activist Alan O’Reilly.

The BNP will deport all Catholics and Muslims from Britain

BNP speaker Alan O’Reilly threatens Catholics and Muslims with the following warning:

“As and when it comes to power a BNP Government would be constitutionally entitled summarily to eject you. All Muslim supporters, Marxist supporters, Papal [i.e. Catholic] supporters etc. could be 'ex-patriated' to countries where such regimes prevail”

Catholics can never be British

BNP speaker Alan O’Reilly classifies Catholics as an enemy category who must be ethnically cleansed from Britain because they can never be British (odd given that Britain was once a Catholic country!):

“I would include them [Catholics] in the 'foreign white' category, which you seem to have overlooked in my earlier posts - they certainly could not be described as ‘white Britons’”

That Islamic/Catholic/EU/Sinn Fein/IRA plot to destroy the UK with Catholic immigrants!

Initially, Alan O’Reilly claims that the European Union (EU) is “a Vatican-inspired project to destroy Britain. Swamping us with foreigners is part of the overall strategy”. But, he then goes on to claim that this is part of a much larger plot between Islam, the Catholic Church, the EU, Sinn Fein and the IRA to destroy Britain by flooding the country with Catholic immigrants from eastern Europe!:

“Sinn Fein actually support illegal immigrants! Eastern Europeans, particularly Poles, are the same religion as Sinn Fein/IRA. Poland is 96% Catholic and Lithuania is 69% Catholic - these were the two European nations mentioned in the BT article. This kind of immigration can only help the Sinn Fein/IRA cause, which is a united Ireland under the Pope. The EU's aim is that mainland Britain should suffer the same fate - and the Mozzies [Muslims] are also a means to that end. Mozzie aggression is a means of driving the British population back into the 'fold,' as the Pope will be perceived as the only leader of any substance willing to stand up to them. He never really apologised for his anti-Mozzie remarks, only regretted that he had been 'misunderstood.'”

Alan O’Reilly then claims that the Catholic Church murders public critics of the EU:

"that's what happens to EU dissenters in public life, who speak the truth. The Vatican is poised for the kill. It is hoped that a government can be elected within the next decade to stave off the Pope's 'coup de grace' but time is running critically short."

This anti-British conspiracy then extends to the Nazis and the African National Congress (ANC) because:

“The IRA and the Nazis all belonged to the same [Catholic] church. Their blood-brotherhood in terror (along with Islam and the ANC) should surprise no-one”.

Catholics are not Christians

Condemning the Catholic religion as the “whore of Revelation”, Alan O’Reilly states: “Catholicism isn't Christianity” and reiterates this on BNP legal director Lee Barnes’ blog when he says, “Catholicism and Christian belief should not be confused”.

Islam is a Catholic plot against Britain and the Protestant faith!

Following the Catholic immigration conspiracy, Alan O’Reilly claims that:

“Islam is a Vatican creation”.

“Both Catholicism and Islam have a common objective - the destruction of Protestant Britain”

Further, on the blog of BNP newspaper editor Martin Wingfield, Alan O’Reilly asserts that “all the world's religions, including Islam, are gradually merging to worship the Catholic BVM. This is not good news for England's identity, any more than the armada of 1588 was”.

This is because, as Alan O’Reilly claims, the real enemy of Britain and the White race are Catholics:

“the real enemy, which is the same one Britain has always had since Henry VIII broke with Rome in the 16th century. It's just a question of straegy and tactics to suit the times, as in 1588 (Armada), 1642 (Civil War), Stewart Pretenders (1715, 1745), Napoleon (1815), Kaiser Wilhelm II (1914), Adolf (1939-40). All the tyrants alluded to belonged to the same church as Sharia Blair, with the exception of the Kaiser and he was a sympathiser, allied to Catholic Austria-Hungary. Adams and McGuinness have been described as "two fine f****** Catholic boys" by IRA heavy Brian Keenan, who masterminded the Libya-IRA connection, i.e. Mozzies[Muslims] and Papists [Catholics] colluding to murder British security personnel”.

One should remind Alan O’Reilly that BNP leader Nick Griffin himself once visited Libya to secure funding from Gaddafi’s regime and the BNP carried articles in its then official magazine, Spearhead, in support of Gaddafi under the leadership of BNP founder John Tyndall. Are Nick Griffin and John Tyndall now in league with the ‘Mozzies’ as ‘Papist’ co-conspirators? This aside, the Catholic threat is very real for Alan O’Reilly because, according to him, former British Prime Minister Tony Blair was “another papal puppet”. Then, on the BNP website, Alan O’Reilly claims that the Church of England (CoE) never fully recovered from what he regards as the Catholic assault on it. Elsewhere, the Catholic treat to the Protestant faith, in the particular to the CoE, is clear for Alan O’Reilly:

“Rome's premier target was the 1611 Authorised King James Bible .. he main attack was orchestrated by Romish Anglican Cambridge academics .. They produced the Revised Version of 1881, a Catholic bible that was the forerunner of all the modern bibles that have effectively marginalised the national church”.

Destroy the CoE and you destroy Britain. But, Alan O’Reilly’s real concern is not for the Protestant faith or the CoE. The truth is that he worships race and nation rather than God as he defies Britain and the White race by placing them at the centre of the Protestant faith and the CoE. Not just this, but again on the BNP website, Alan O’Reilly claims that God punished Britain with World War I because:

“Unfortunately, the [Coronation] Oath was tampered with in 1910, to remove the clause whereby the monarch is supposed to disavow the Catholic mass, in accordance with Article 31 of the Church of England’s 39 Articles of Religion .. which is one reason, I believe, why Britain became embroiled in WW1 a mere 4 years after the Oath was corrupted. God is not mocked”

Alan O’Reilly claims Catholics were behind World War One and Two

For Alan O’Reilly the alleged corruption of the Coronation Oath is evidence of the Catholic Church’s modern interference in British affairs that culminated in World War II. But, he goes further. He claims that Catholicism deliberately started both World War One and Two:

“If you want to know who set up WW1, 2, for example, read ‘The Vatican Against Europe’ and’ The Secret History of the Jesuits’ by Edmond Paris, a French writer who was murdered by Jesuits for his publications against them”.

Alan O’Reilly claims Catholics wrote Mein Kampf and were in charge of the concentration camps

Not only does Alan O’Reilly accuse the Catholic faith of directing the Nazi violence against the Jews in 1930s Germany, but he also claims that it was a Catholic priest, not Hitler, who wrote Mein Kampf:

“It was even a Jesuit, Fr. Staempfle, who 'ghosted' Adolf Hitler in the writing of Mein Kampf. Even Hitler had part-Jewish ancestry, as did other leading Nazis but that did not stop him from instigating the murder of 6,000,000 European Jews. That was because he and all the leading Nazis, plus the commandants of the death camps; Hoess, Koch, Stangl etc. all belonged to the same [Catholic] religion - which was not Judaism.You have no chance of winning any war if you can't identify the enemy [i.e. Catholics]”.

But, Alan O’Reilly’s claim that a Catholic priest wrote Mein Kampf is pointless as elsewhere he claims that Hitler was a Catholic carrying out the Pope’s orders.

Attacks on other Christian sects

Not content with attacking Catholicism, in another post Alan O’Reilly takes a swipe at Jehovah's Witnesses and accuses the Greek Orthodox Church, like the Catholic Church, of concealing original parts of the Bible.

Alan O’Reilly claims Catholics are behind communism

Alan O’Reilly then goes on to claim that every prominent communist personality of the twentieth century were in fact secret Catholic agents: “the so-called founders of CommUNism; Marx, Engels, Lenin, Stalin and later Castro”.

The relationship between Catholics and Jews

Alan O’Reilly argues that the “Jewish-Roman collusion against genuine believers is as old as the 1st century Pharisaic declaration”. Alan O’Reilly then claims that the Catholic Church used “renegade Jews to defeat the Russian Orthodox Church via the 1917 Revolution” and “tutored Marx in writing the Communist Manifesto in the Reading Room of the British Museum”. And, the Catholic Church then “instigated the pogroms against Russian Jews to encourage them to help overthrow the Czar”.

But, he also says that the “Jewish loathing for Christians undeniably exists within the State of Israel but the only kind of terror that has reared its ugly head in these isles for the last century has been papal [Catholic] and Islamic”.

Jesus Christ sends earthquakes to punish Muslims for their sins

But, his most sickening claim is that Jesus Christ sent the Kashmir earthquake that killed 75,000 civilians to punish Muslims for the 7/7 bombings in London. Why? Because both events occurred three months apart and so must have been the work of Christ.

Alan O’Reilly’s sick claim that Madeleine McCann was kidnapped by Muslims

A stupid and unjustifiable statement that will surely distress the parents of Madeleine McCann, the British infant who went missing in Portugal, is Alan O’Reilly’s baseless implied claim that it was, conveniently, Muslims (he means non-Whites) who kidnapped Madeleine McCann:

“A pity that a Patricia Harrington act-alike couldn't have been 'riding shotgun' on Madeleine McCann and her siblings. If so, what is the possibility that the outcome might have been two dead Mozzies [Muslims] instead of an abducted 3-year old?”

The Olympics spread “global tyranny”

Bizarrely, Alan O’Reilly claims that the Olympics are a “deception to boost the NWO [New World Order] and eventual global tyranny”.

Foams against mixed-race relationships

Posting on the pro-BNP blog, Sarah Maid of Albion, Alan O’Reilly claims “the media is doing all it can to encourage this inter-racial destruction”. On another site, Alan O’Reilly then claims that pornography “encourage[s] attacks on white girls by non-white males”!

Alan O’Reilly perverts the Bible to justify racial segregation

The reason why Alan O’Reilly can attack inter-racial marriages is due to his apartheid-like perversion of the Bible to justify his racial hatred:

“I have no comment about black males in the media, except that according to holy scripture (along with all those not in the media and their female counterparts), none of them should be living north of Cairo or west of the Azores. Africa, not England, is the land of Ham, the pro-genitor of the black race, Psalm 105:23, 27, 106:22, Genesis 10:6-20 (The Table of Nations - note that Hamites later located in the land of Canaan were out of bounds, which is why they had to be expelled by the Children of Israel under the leadership of Joshua, Joshua 1-24).”

This is the same twisted and evil racio-theological logic that the Klu Klux Klan uses to justify its lynching and murder of Black men and children in the United States. Further, on the Cleveland BNP blog, an excerpt from Alan O’Reilly’s speech at a Teesside BNP meeting states:

“why populate a country like Britain with black Africans and Asians. In the long term, it would only weaken that nation’s physical resilience. I guess that is the agenda”.

Does Alan O’Reilly’s family history of violence explain his disturbed views?

The verbal violence that Alan O’Reilly commits runs through his blood. On his personal blog, alanorei, Alan O’Reilly tells us about his alcoholic grandfather who used to beat up local policemen in western Australia and the violence his father pursued, as he puts it, for “recreation”. Alan O’Reilly comes from a fine lineage.

Conclusion
