BNP threatens protest at headteacher's home over sex education proposals

Far-right party orders Grenoside Community primary school in Sheffield to drop 'evil plans bordering on paedophilia' to extend syllabus to infant pupils

British National party activists have warned a primary school's headteacher and chair of governors that they will face demonstrations outside their homes if they do not drop plans to extend sex education lessons to children aged four.

A delegation from the far-right party picketed Grenoside Community primary school in Sheffield over proposals that would see children aged between four and six being taught about reproduction in mammals. Older children would be taught about the human body, including naming the sex organs, as well as receiving guidance on "good and bad touching".

BNP activists, who arrived as the school was preparing to close on Tuesday, demonstrated outside and handed in a letter warning the head: "We believe that your evil plans to introduce these children to sex at such a young age borders on paedophilia and that it is not acceptable."

The letter was copied to the school's chair of governors and Sheffield city council's executive director for children, young people and families. It warns: "We hope that you will see sense and we hope that no further action is needed, although we are ready to involve ourselves further on behalf of the silent majority if you insist on going further down your present road."

The BNP's leader, Nick Griffin, tweeted: "Small BNP team went to Grenoside Primary School, Sheffield today. Leaflets v plans for sex … lessons from age 4. Mental paedophiles behind sick plan must drop it or face demos at home too."

The school is consulting parents over changes that were originally scheduled for introduction in the spring or summer next year. The proposals will extend sex education to younger children.

The school's headteacher, Colin Fleetwood, said: "This is an attempt to teach a more systematic approach throughout the school. It's also more systematic about the science part of it."

He said that while a small number of parents did not want any sex education lessons in primary school, and others thought it was too early, the "vast majority" had been supportive of the changes.

For the youngest children, the lessons would involve being taught about baby animals, Fleetwood said. "It's mummy rabbits and daddy rabbits."

In response to the BNP demo, the school has sent a letter to parents saying the consultation will continue, and that the school's parents and governors will take a decision on the proposals.

Fleetwood said: "Obviously it's extremely unpleasant to have the BNP threatening to demonstrate, and receiving an ultimatum is not a pleasant thing. We're actually carrying out a very successful consultation with our parents, with a high level of engagement."

The Department for Education (DfE) recommends that all primary schools should have a sex and relationship education programme, but this guidance is not binding and it is up to schools to decide what to teach about reproduction and puberty beyond the science curriculum.

All children need to know about puberty before the onset of physical changes, the DfE says.

A DfE spokesman said: "Teachers have a right to do their jobs free from harassment, intimidation and abuse. The teaching of sex and relationships education in primary schools is a matter for schools and parents – it is not an issue for outside organisations to get involved in."

Of perverts and idiots...

A couple of interesting emails have arrived over the past two days, one of which asked what proof we have that Tom Holmes attempted to get off with a fourteen year old girl, the other of which is supposedly from someone close to Clive (sniff-sniff) Jefferson, who allegedly overheard Nick Griffin's pet moron on his mobile whining to either Mark Walker or Pat Harrington.

The former is pretty clear so we'll deal with that one first. Twenty-six year old Holmes has just been booted out of the BNP after evidence was revealed that showed he was grooming an underage girl. Quite why Holmes got the boot when the likes of Paedo Collett and his idiot chum David Hannam were allowed to get away with their little attempt at underage sex, who knows. However, Holmes is still going on about his innocence, claiming both that he wasn't interested in having sex with the girl even if she was sixteen and that he acted appropriately at all times. Holmes has tried this one over at the British Democracy Forum, too, stating very clearly,

'Never mentioned anything about getting her to have sex with me when she's 16, actually.'

Tom's remark "Awww :( 2 years" shows pretty clearly that he's perfectly well aware of the girl's age, the pervert.

Holmes is apparently still claiming that he intends to stand as an Independent in his next local election, handing the seat over to the BNP if he wins. He won't, of course. The public doesn't take too well to men approaching thirty making remarks about fourteen year olds opening their legs for him, even if he is only hoping it will happen two years hence. As far as I recall, that's referred to as grooming.

Talking of perverts, we hear that Clive Jefferson, the stupidest man in the BNP, has apparently begun to bow under pressure from increasingly angry party members (and a hostile media) and has been begging Mark Walker or Pat Harrington to support him in persuading Porky Griffin to give the Kitchens the boot ASAP, preferably before even more information about Granny Kitchen's porn hits the media. Quite what anything in the BNP has to do with Harrington, we don't know, but he seems to have an uncommonly tight hold on both Griffin and the party. Perhaps Mrs K has been giving him lessons.

The interesting thing about this, assuming it's true, is that Jefferson wants to kick the Kitchens out but appears to be unable to. Why? As far as we know, he's been booting people out of the party wholesale for months - what makes the Kitchens so special?

Our correspondent suggests that the Kitchens will be gone by this weekend. Maybe but we doubt it. Martin Reynolds has been involved in porn and all kinds of shit (literally) for years and he's still around. Still, things could hot up in more ways than one as Spring approaches - we're told that there are quite a few more BNP-related revelations on their way. Can't wait.

Meanwhile, GrannyGate has claimed a victim. Paul Morris (not that one), the BNP's Eastern regional organiser, has jacked in his job in disgust at the adverse publicity that the Kitchens have spawned and the party's apparent unwillingness to get rid of them post haste. I doubt very much that he'll be the last to go - this story seems set to carry on a while yet.

The henchmen behind vile BNP leader Nick Griffin have their thin veneer of acceptability stripped away today.

His minders and hangers-on wore smart suits and ties as they leaped to shield their party leader from a barrage of eggs and anti-fascist taunts this week. But the News of the World can reveal their respectable image conceals a Nazi-saluting RACIST, a depraved SWINGER and a FAILED wannabe councillor who lives with his mum.

The rotten shower were among sidekicks who jumped in to protect Griffin, 49, from furious protesters in London. Griffin and Andrew Brons, who together had just become MEPs in the Euro elections, had been trying to portray their party as a reasonable voice. But we can reveal that their minders' views are every bit as warped as the BNP's policies.

Take JAY SLAVEN, who was seen on camera roughly pushing a bystander aside as he escorted Griffin and Brons away. A truer picture of Slaven, 25, emerges from another photo of him giving a Nazi salute and posing with a St George's flag draped over his shoulders.

The snap features on a Facebook photo album entitled "Forever Brave, Forever True, Forever England! St George's Day!"

Slaven, from Doddinghurst, Essex, tried to make a name for himself by defending Jade Goody's racist remarks to Shilpa Shetty during Celebrity Big Brother in 2007. At the time he claimed the huge row which erupted over comments made towards Indian actress Shilpa was "laughable".

In another rant Slaven, an assistant distribution manager, declared: "I see no possible wrong in wanting to preserve this island race of ours. Racial mixing is not leading to the BNP success, the vast damage done to our nation by successive governments is."

Pictured near Slaven at the egg demo was burly BNP minder MARTIN REYNOLDS, who is Griffin's head of security and a regular feature at his elbow. But Reynolds - married with three kids - is also a regular on the swingers scene and lusts after "big girls". The 41-year- old from Leeds was pictured at the London bust-up in dark glasses. But he wore far less as he watched women indulge in sex acts at a squalid orgy.

Months earlier he had gone on dating website faceparty.com with fellow BNP organisers Mark Collett and Dan Hannam. Reynolds told how he hated stuck-up people and women on diets - and listed his ideal female as "size 16 and above with a good sense of humour and a sex drive to match mine".

Also among Griffin's gang was TONY GLADWIN, who lives with his mum in a 1960s house with a St George's Cross flying from a 6ft flagpole outside. The 25-year-old landscape gardener recently stood as a district councillor but failed miserably to get elected. Gladwin, from Billericay, Essex, has said: "Everyone that knows me knows I am in the BNP. I'm very proud of it. People have made out it's like a secret society, like we should be hiding it."

Another Griffin minder is former London mayoral candidate JULIAN LEPPERT, a postman who is happiest when he is delivering racist scare stories. He said: "We don't want to be a minority in our city, let alone our country. That is what we are going to have by 2055 if current trends continue."

Meanwhile new MEP Andrew Brons, 61, seeks to be the respectable face of the party but 25 years ago he was convicted of behaviour likely to cause a breach of the peace. He and another National Front member were shouting slogans including "Death to Jews" and "White Power".

Jailed racist in Islam ploy

A cross-dressing Nazi racist has converted to Islam in jail because he's terrified of being killed in a revenge attack.

Hitler fanatic Martyn Gilleard, 31, was caged for 16 years last month for possessing 39,000 sick child porn images - and making four nail bombs. The pervert, who kept pictures of himself in women's underwear, planned to target mosques or places where black and Asian people gathered.

But now he has seen an imam at Wakefield Prison in West Yorkshire and says he has become a Muslim.

A prison source said: "Gilleard was kicked into touch by far-right parties for having child porn. Without their backing, he knew he wouldn't last five minutes in prison. So he reckoned changing his religion was the only way he'd avoid reprisals inside.

"But Gilleard turning to Islam is laughable. Just a few months ago he was a fully paid-up member of various racist groups and now he wants to start reading the Koran. He's making a mockery of Muslims and the lads will not stand for it."

Fork-lift truck driver Gilleard, of Goole, East Yorks, admitted at Leeds Crown Court 10 specimen child porn charges and was convicted of two terror charges.

I am not a neo-Nazi: Kevin Strom pleads to child pornography

Protesting descriptions of himself in the media as a neo-Nazi and white supremacist, Kevin Alfred Strom, 51, pleaded guilty today to one count of possession of child pornography in U.S. District Court in Charlottesville. As part of his plea, four counts of receiving child porn were dismissed .

Strom could receive a maximum of 10 years in prison and up to a $250,000 fine when he’s sentenced April 21. He was indicted January 3, 2007 and has been in jail for over a year.

In October, Judge Norman K. Moon threw out two charges against Strom for enticing a minor to perform sexual acts after the prosecution’s details about his alleged obsession with a 10-year-old Orange County girl fell short of the judge’s view of a compelling case.

Former wife Elisha Strom testified about finding Strom in their Stanardsville home naked and aroused with photos on his computer of teen girls, who were singers in the white nationalist movement and whose heads were superimposed onto the bodies of even younger girls. A separate charge of witness intimidation, an alleged physical attack on Mrs. Strom, was also dismissed.

Mrs. Strom was in court today to watch her husband plead guilty, and afterward, sat down with the Hook for an exclusive interview.

Kevin Strom founded the National Vanguard, a white nationalist organization dedicated to protecting the rights and racial purity of Caucasians, after his split with the West Virginia-based National Alliance. Before his ouster from the National Alliance, Strom was seen as the group’s intellectual leader and the protege of its founder, William Pierce, whose book, The Turner Diaries, blamed Jews, foreigners, and blacks for America’s ills and inspired homegrown terrorist Timothy McVeigh.

When Judge Moon asked Kevin Strom whether he’d been threatened to agree to plead guilty, Strom said he had received threats in jail, but he doesn’t think they’re about his guilty plea.

“They have more to do with the media describing me as a white supremacist,” declared Strom, who advocates separate areas for “endangered” whites. “I deeply resent the way I’ve been characterized in the press. I’m no more a white supremacist than the Dalai Lama is.”
