The latest Ebanks tirade against the BNP - revelations or rubbish?

As we all know (to our cost) Sharon Ebanks, former BNP activist and Griffin-favourite until a major fall-out last October has been posting on our comments sections in increasingly strident tones for the past week or two, claiming to have revelations that will be guaranteed to bring down her Nemesis, Nick Griffin.

Despite offers of space to air her accusations against him, Ebanks refused to pass on the information about Griffin, choosing instead to keep her information to herself until she decides the moment is right. She now seems to have made that decision, having posted a series of badly-written and completely unreferenced statements and accusations against Griffin, the BNP and other BNP-linked operations in the comments section of a 'nationalist' blog. Assuming these to be the revelations, we'll take a quick look at them.

'Griffin certainly has become untouchable since Darby became Deputy Leader and Griffin spoke with Barbara Amiel.'

Strangely, Scott McLean is still listed on the BNP's website as the Deputy-Chairman of the party, despite the fact that everyone knows he's gone and precisely why he's gone. As far as we know, Darby has never been Deputy Leader, though Griffin did designate him as de facto leader should he have been jailed during the trials in 2005/6.

The reference to Barbara Amiel, former director at The Spectator and wife of Conrad Black is presumably a nod towards a Martin Webster allegation of April 2006 that Griffin had been in telephone contact with the Jewish Amiel, this conversation rapidly being followed by a major shift in the public stance of the BNP indicated by a much-criticised article ostensibly written by the party's legal head Lee Barnes (August 2006) in which he stated, 'As a Nationalist I can say that I support Israel 100% in their dispute with Hezbollah. In fact, I hope they wipe Hezbollah off the Lebanese map and bomb them until they leave large greasy craters in the cities where their Islamic extremist cantons of terror once stood.'

Whether the conversation between Amiel and Griffin happened or not is, as far as we're concerned, irrelevant. The shift away from anti-semitism (at least publicly) to anti-Islam has been going on over a number of years and is simply one of Griffin's weak attempts to make his party more appealing to the general public, who he clearly regards as being more likely to fall for his line on Muslims than they are that on Jews. Griffin is a populist, prepared to change his public image in a moment if he feels a change will gain him some power.

The fact that he has apparently shifted his viewpoint has not made him untouchable, or at least more or less untouchable than before. He was done for inciting racial hatred nearly a decade ago and the government tried (twice) to have him done again last year. The fact that he wasn't convicted was due to the jury in the case, not to the allegation that he is 'untouchable'. Presumably, Ebanks is trying to suggest that Griffin's new pro-Israel stance allows him to say or do anything without fear of retaliation but the evidence, such as it is, doesn't really support that statement.

'Why indeed did the press not print Simon Smiths resignation when under any other circumstances they would have leapt at the opportunity for blasting across their front page "BNP COUNCILLOR ACCUSES BNP OF FINANCIAL IMPROPRIETY". Why did the press remain silent on Websters accusations and why has the press, the police and the Electoral Commission and Silvers and Co not done anything about my complaints regarding BNP money?'

There are a lot of questions in that small paragraph but we'll take a look at them one at a time. Regarding Simon Smith's purging from the party, which was turned into yet another resignation, the Birmingham Post reported the party line on the resignation with a report including quotes from Simon Darby but obviously didn't want to drag the story on with Smith's own version of events that appeared in his letter which we reprinted here. Nevertheless, we do agree that the press missed out on an opportunity to generate discussion of Croatia, Solidarity and the BNP's lucrative Trafalgar Club, which were all mentioned in Smith's letter and could have reaped large rewards. Being charitable, we can assume that the potential was either missed by a busy sub-editor or that the general embargo on BNP-related rubbish forced it to hit the bin. In either case, it was an excellent opportunity for good copy that was missed.

The answer to the complex question 'Why did the press remain silent on Websters accusations and why has the press, the police and the Electoral Commission and Silvers and Co not done anything about my complaints regarding BNP money?' is that while many people suspect and there is mounting evidence to support the ever-growing claims of financial impropriety, there is little hard evidence - patently not enough to generate a police enquiry or an enquiry by the Electoral Commission, for the moment at least. Once the BNP's accounts have been submitted, we may find the evidence we already have suddenly becoming far more valuable.

If Ebanks felt she had enough evidence to take to the EC, the BNP's auditors and the police, there must have been something relatively substantial to present to them. If so, Ebanks needs to put this information where it can do some good. At the moment, her only options appear to be to place the evidence before the public via her own New Nationalist Party, which one suspects doesn't want to get involved, to post on a forum like Stormfront, where the BNP-allied moderators will probably delete it instantly or to take us up on our offer to publish it - though that offer has a limited life-span and it's rapidly running out.

'Why does Griffin allow idiots at the top when he claims from a platform on a daily basis that he wants some semblance of Britain back? Why are thieves and cranks promoted through the ranks and decent honest people ignored? These are not the actions of a political party and certainly not the actions of those wishing a winning one.'

We couldn't agree more and we suspect, like Ebanks and many others, that we know why the scum rises to the top in the BNP - simply because they will assist Nick Griffin to achieve what he aims to achieve (the personal enrichment of Nick Griffin) and/or they have something on him. The more we and other observers look into the BNP and the more that is exposed about the internal workings of it, the more we tend to regard it as less a bona fide political party and more of an undernourished Mafia - a low-grade criminal organisation with pretensions of grandeur and less murders (though probably not if Tony Lecomber had his way).

'Why is Griffin ditching local politics in favour of Europe, a place where nothing can be achieved for British people at grassroots level?'

Because Griffin and his pals at the top of the BNP have absolutely no interest in doing anything for anybody except themselves. The European elections are where Griffin sees his opportunity to sneak a seat and rake in the money, incidentally making lots of connections all over Europe via the group of far-right MEPs, which should be handy for Griffin when we wants to buy more land abroad with his ill-gotten gains.

'Where are the BNP accounts? Why is GWR trading without filing accounts for 2yrs when it has made thousands of pounds?'

We've no more idea than Ebanks why the BNP's accounts are so late in being submitted to the Electoral Commission though we suspect it has a lot to do with cooking the books and concealing the drop in membership in some way that it won't cost Griffin and co any money. Regarding Great White Records, the BNP's musical wing - we're told that the idiotic Dave Hannam has less than six months to get it making a profit or he's out on his ear. The lack of accounts simply indicates that financial disaster is pending but being concealed - for now. Griffin is juggling all the BNP's financial cock-ups in the air at the moment but he's rapidly losing control and we firmly expect the whole lot to collapse in the very near future.

'Why does the BNP PayPal line empty into several different numbered accounts instead of remaining static and traceable?'

We have to wonder how Ebanks could possibly know that this is the case? We'd welcome some evidence...

'Why has Griffin hijacked the money and members of Solidarity?'

Presumably because he sees it as yet another potential scam, where he can rip off members of his own party ad nauseum. It's always worth remembering Griffin's own quote from way back in Spring 1999's edition of Patriot magazine; 'In increasingly hard economic times, a group of people the size of the BNP and its support base can provide a significant assured market for a variety of small businesses.' Oh boy, has he taken that to heart.

'Why is Civil Liberty allowed to commit fraud and nothing is done?'

We reported that the Electoral Commission had launched an investigation into Civil Liberty after the Guardian had provided information to Scotland Yard last April. Since then, no-one has heard anything about either the possible investigation or indeed, Civil Liberty itself.

'Why are decent people resigning only to be rubbished by morons after their personal sacrifices?'

One assumes Ebanks is referring to herself here though one would expect her to be aware that it's an old trick of the far-right to attack those who have left acrimoniously, just to discredit anything they might say about the party before they say it.

'Why is the BNP swiping money from peoples credit cards without them knowing? Once again this is fraud perpetrated against those who have joined online and entrusted them with their details and trusted them full stop.'

If this is the case and if Ebanks has any evidence to support this statement, she should see it as her duty to go straight to the police. Credit card fraud is criminal and if the BNP can be shown to have committed it, heads will roll. This is probably the one line that really means anything in her post. If she has the proof, she has the party by the throat.

'A party cannot exist without intellect and activism but the heads of the BNP do everything in their power to repel such people.'

This is probably a reference to Jonathan Bowden, who seems to be much admired by Ebanks. We don't really care but we'd assume that the last thing Griffin wants around him is someone with intelligence who might see through him and tell the rest of the BNP what a fraud he actually is.

'And last but not least, why was one of Britains most dangerous criminals contacting me 2 weeks ago with the police claiming to know nothing and do nothing but Simon Darby knew everything even the bogus name that the man was using? If the police couldn't figure it out how the hell could he?'

Unless she's referring to Tony Lecomber, Nick Griffin's favourite terrorist, we have absolutely no idea what Ebanks is going on about here. We'd like to know more though so if anyone has more information, feel free to provide.

So there you have it. Sharon Ebanks' most recent attack on the BNP - revelations that could damage the party beyond repair or rubbish that can be shrugged off as the ravings of an embittered former favourite?

Britain Forward has a go at us - though not a very good one

Oh dear, yet another attack. Britain Forward, the new site set up to cause as many divisions within the BNP as possible in the run-up to the (possible) BNP election challenge, has taken exception to us sticking our noses in and daring to have an opinion of our own.

In their latest attack, they point out that they 'engaged in some long and heartfelt discussions about the danger of giving ammunition to our enemies like the bunch of trotskyist scumbags and race traitors who go by the name of Lancaster UAF'.

We'll say it again because it takes a while for these things to seep into the average fascist brain, but everyone who is opposed to the BNP and other fascist groups is not automatically a 'Trotskyist'. In fact we have people from all political persuasions in Lancaster UAF, people of all colours and people of all religions (except possibly that one in Vanuatu where they appear to regard Prince Philip as some kind of deity). Anyway, don't worry about giving us ammo - we already know most of it.

Britain Forward then tries to give the impression that it is nothing to do with Sharon Ebanks by describing her as a 'half-caste vengeful clown' but the blog has pretty clear similarities to most of the Ebanks nonsense we've read and even if it isn't directly associated with her it is clearly associated with her idiotic comrades in the NNP. In any case, it sets out its stall pretty clearly, stating that it wants to 'rescue our proud country from a tide of alien immigration that, if unchecked, will lead to the Islamification of our country.' This sounds precisely like the standard BNP rhetoric, which fits in quite nicely with the fact that the NNP is packed with BNP rejects and outcasts. Even the attacks on the BNP in the same article sound the same as the regular attacks posted on Stormfront and other nazi forums.

'To do this we must first root out the cancerous political growth within our own movement, a leader who sees our party as his personal fiefdom. Our activists have not come through the street battles of the seventies and eighties, in some cases spending time in prison for our beliefs, and experienced the start of ballot box success, to allow either red scum or our own chairman who is betraying us stand in the way of ultimate victory for the British people.'

There they go again with the 'red scum'. Though they are right about the BNP being led by Griffin, who clearly sees the whole party and its many subsidiary companies - or certainly the income - as his private property. From the revelations that are emerging via email, various forums and our own last sticky post, there is a lot to be found out that is presently only rumour and hint (at the moment).

Finally, Britain Forward ends its pretty weak (we've had a lot worse) attack with a little anti-Jewish swipe. We knew they'd get one in somehow.

Most of us are vegan or vegetarian, we could never afford smoked salmon even if we wanted to eat it and 'gefillter' is spelled 'gefilte', dumbass. We're starting to think Nick Griffin's got nothing much to worry about if this is all his opposition can muster up to attack us. Sad or what.

How's this for filth?

If you want to know the truth about the British National Party, read the Covert Undercover Nuisance Tactics blog, a page of filth that would horrify anyone with an ounce of decency in them but which apparently amuses Nick Griffin, the fascist BNP's leader.

This page, which surely ranks well below the Sunday Sport in the peculiar world that nazis inhabit, has launched attacks on everyone from anti-fascists to those we would ourselves refer to as fascists but with whom the owners apparently disapprove. Sharon Ebanks, who as a former BNP candidate in Birmingham's Kingstanding ward, thought she had won the election last year after a miscounted vote but who was then disappointed, has come in for particular vile criticism - not, as you might expect, for turning on the BNP leadership for refusing to pass along the money donated towards her High Court costs by party members following the Kingstanding recount, but simply for being the offspring of a mixed-race relationship.

But there's worse. Following the tragic events at Virginia Tech a couple of days ago, the Covert team has outdone itself with this short piece of filth.

We've heard it all before

As the dust starts to settle over the Virginia Tech incident the stories of bravery start to emerge. Ofcourse the media picked up on one of the dead teachers straight away. Liviu Librscu like millions of other jews since the end of the second world war was a holocaust survivor. The term itself 'holocaust survivor' seems to have been branded onto every jew like some kind of merit badge to be displayed in times of crisis and this time it was the turn of Librscu to have his paraded. So what of the media headlines?

So what brave act did this survivour of the Nazi and Communist oppression do? We think what really happened was the kids were thinking "gook with a gun, quick lets use the jew as a sandbag" and then the media played on the holocaust remembrance day thing. And who needs to remember the holocaust anyway on one day when we are reminded of it 365 days a year? Anyway, we don't want the anti semitic brigade accusing us of lies while we are just delivering our own thoughts on the issue and you can ponder on the issue at your own pace now.'

As Nick Griffin and his vile party seem to be proscribing everyone in sight at the moment - including, apparently, his murderous former deputy, the terrorist, Tony Lecomber - perhaps he might like to order a proscription notice against Covert Undercover Nuisance Tactics. If, as he claims, he has no problems with Jews nowadays (to the point where there's at least one in the party) perhaps he might like to speak out against those who dishonour them, the Holocaust and a single Jew who sacrificed his life for the lives of his students.

BNP snubs NNP election deal

Griffin leadership challenge mounted?

Ebanks has been snubbed by the BNP.

Ebanks made the offer on the Nazi Stormfront website, a known hangout for many BNP leaders - even though the same leaders have prohibited their members from posting there.

Responding to a BNP accusation that Ebanks's NNP was splitting the racist vote in Birmingham, Ebanks said:

"I'll do you a deal right here in public. Pull your candidate out of Kingstanding and I'll pull ours out of Shard End. If you refuse, it is you who are splitting the vote. No BNP leaflets have gone out in Kingstanding YET, and no BNP member has this year helped a single person in Kingstanding. Do we have a deal?"

Today's news that the BNP is to field a full slate of candidates across Birmingham seems to indicate that Ebanks does not have a deal - good news for anti-racists, since the BNP and NNP votes in at least two Birmingham wards will probably cancel each other out.

Sharon Ebanks is regularly abused by BNP members on ultra-right forums due to her allegedly mixed-race heritage, and her tiny party is clearly a thorn in the side of the BNP leadership, which moved quickly to have Ebanks's offer deleted from Stormfront.

Strangely, no such move has been made to quash rumours that Chris Jackson is to mount a challenge to Nick Griffin's leadership after the May local elections. At a time when the BNP is riven with disaffection for Griffin, Jackson's candidature will come as unwelcome news to the BNP chief and the unpopular clique running the party.

The BNP's founder, the late John Tyndall, wrote of Jackson: "A very able and well-respected organiser, Chris Jackson, suffered intolerable interference from people at party Headquarters and was driven to resign." Tyndall was referring directly to the Griffin clique.

Predictably, as the Jackson rumour surfaced, the NNP's Sharon Ebanks (posting as "Ontology" on Stormfront) hastened to widen the breach: "Excellent news. The NNP will be at his full service should he require help or assistance, and I hope the BNP will put democracy first and allow the BNP Bulletin to be handed over to both candidates to make their views heard to the entire membership. This would show the public and members that the BNP knows how to run things properly and fairly. I also admire that he is choosing after the May elections to challenge, the previous challenger disrupted the Euro elections to make his challenge."

Just as predictably, the BNP leadership's parade of sock-puppets were immediately deployed to deride the challenge and hint of damage to the BNP's local election prospects.

Given Nick Griffin's propensity for getting rid of potential challengers, Chris Jackson would do well to take the advice offered by many BNP members as news of his challenge spread - Watch your back!

NNP? BPP? EFP? More letters than members...

A brief round-up of what's going on at the periphery of the UK nazi scene.

Is the BNP bovvered by the NNP? Well yes, actually.

Readers who frequent the blogs and forums where BNP members are allowed to vent their communal spleen have observed both a marked increase in verbal attacks on Sharon Ebanks' group of BNP-rejects, the New Nationalist Party (NNP), and an even larger increase in the amount of venom expended per attack.

One of the nastier and openly pro-BNP sites on the internet is named, believe it or not, Covert Undercover Nuisance Tactics (you work out the acronym) - as rabid a bunch of thugs as you could have found in the National Front in its heyday, though the activism in this case is solely internet-based. This charming group took such exception to a Stormfront poster writing in support of Ebanks and her party that they printed his name and address for all to see - and this is someone who is well over on their side of the political spectrum! Not content with that, they have also uncompromisingly attacked Ebanks herself, posting a swathe of virulent articles complete with pictures of black TV stars labelled with her name - an obvious and hardly subtle reference to the persistent rumour that her late father was black.

Stormfront, the largest of the nazi forums, is suddenly awash with anti-Ebanks/anti-NNP posts, many of them direct attacks and insults (including one attack on the NNP deputy-chair Dave Cheetham, who was called a traitor - there being no worse insult in the disturbing world these people inhabit).

As far as Lancaster UAF and other observers can ascertain, these attacks are coming almost exclusively from the BNP members - some very prominent members indeed - who are also members of Stormfront (despite the party's proscription on membership of the forum). Which leads one to wonder why the BNP is so obviously bothered about what it describes dismissively as 'a micro-party'.

There are probably two reasons. The BNP was hoping to get its claws into Birmingham and almost did last year, when a miscount temporarily put the then BNP's Ebanks into a seat by mistake. The party is desperate to get there, despite last year's fiasco which not only lost them the seat but also Ebanks after a furious row about money. Unfortunately for the BNP, the NNP have every intention of standing in Birmingham and for all that Ebanks is as vile as racist as you could find, she also happens to put in her work in the ward, which frankly is more than can be said of practically all BNP councillors or would-be councillors. If the choice is between the nationally high-profile BNP and the locally high-profile Sharon Ebanks, it's difficult to see which way the voters would jump. The most likely outcome - and the most desirable for us, is that neither get in and the seat goes to a hard-working member of a bona-fide party without a fascist axe to grind.

The other reason for all the attacks on Ebanks revolves around her continual threats to reveal all she knows about Nick Griffin. We all know a lot about him, particularly his moral (and fiscal) bankruptcy, but Ebanks claims to have information that will destroy his so-called political career. While she teases the nazi world with the threat of startling revelations to come (maybe), her attackers are frantically destroying her credibility on the far-right. By the time she reveals all, no-one will be around to listen to her. All of which indicates that she might have something worth saying but, if she has, she'd better say it quickly.

Lancaster UAF blog readership goes up by nearly one

News reaches us that Unsteady Eddy Morrison, the laughable 'National Political Advisor' for the British People's Party (now run by Mr Inept himself, Kevin Watmough), has started reading our blog. Well, he's got nothing else to do, the poor old sod. Running over the memories of his undistinguished career in the nine hundred far-right political groups he's been a part of must have taken him all of five minutes.

Oddly, he wrote on his own blog about our reference to the BPP as a 'three man and a very large dog' party, which segues very nicely into the next item...

The England First Party is easily confused

Steven Smith (the owner of the very large dog, pictured left) is a member of the British People's Party. So why are we writing about him here? Because he is also the new Leader of the England First Party, following Mark Cotterill's resignation from the post. We have no information on which party the dog belongs to though so far it's joined its owner in the BNP, the BPP and the EFP - it's no wonder it looks depressed.

In an attempt to clear up any confusion that may have arisen from Smith's role in both parties, EFP posted a statement on its website:

'Whilst he is a member which, his joining was a show of solidarity it is not true for him to be described as a senior member he does not have any influence or input into the political direction or internal workings of the party and is 100% committed to the England First Party only.'

Which almost, but not quite, makes sense.

Steven Smith, you may recall, is the uncle of the football hooligan and violent thug, ex-BNP councillor, Luke Smith. Uncle Steve was alleged to have left following nephew Luke's expulsion from the BNP after he glassed a member of Nick Griffin's security team in the face at the BNP's family fracas, the Red White and Blue Festival. That was a fib though. Smith left the BNP because he was about to be done for electoral fraud, an act that earned him six months and a five-year ban on standing for council.

Now that the ban has ended, Smith intends to stand and to help himself has taken on the role of leader of the fast-collapsing EFP. Quite how an electoral fraudster expects to win an election is beyond most of us with brain cells but apparently he's full of confidence - even given the fact that both of the EFP's Blackburn councillors have resigned to move elsewhere.

It's no wonder Smith is a member of the BPP as well - he can obviously see there's absolutely no future for the EFP. Even less now he's involved.

Sharon Ebanks scraping the nazi barrel for NNP candidates

Sharon Ebanks' New Nationalist Party (NNP), desperate to find candidates to stand in the forthcoming local government elections in May, seems to be frantically approaching all and sundry - even the worst outcasts of the nazi world - to find enough people to stand in order to give her already-ailing party (dubbed the 'Dodgy Desperados' by her friends) some credibility on the far-right.

The NNP is already packed with BNP rejects including ex-treasurers, ex-organisers and ex-fake councillors but this, it seems, is not enough. Now Ebanks has had to resort to appealing to the real nazi lowlifes to support her. Yes, even lower than the BNP - hard to believe, we know.

According to a number of posts on the Stormfront forum, the Birmingham-based Ebanks has approached 57 year-old Eddy Morrison, so-called 'National Political Advisor' to the three-men and a very large dog group, the British People's Party, to try to sign him up. Why she'd want to when he's a renowned drunken incompetent is beyond us but apparently it's true.

Morrison, you may recall, stood in last years council elections in Bramley, duping a pensioner into signing his nomination form by telling her it was a petition against the closure of a local shopping centre. When his ruse was discovered a complaint was made to the police but the case was dropped when Morrison got such a pitifully low vote that it made absolutely no difference to the outcome. Chagrined by this disaster, Morrison promptly resigned in a huff and vowed never to stand again.

Unsteady Eddy has been around the hardcore nazi scene for years though his jumping from group to group in a dismal and doomed attempt to get some kind of power base has provoked comment even from those whom one would assume to be his colleagues. One nazi forum had this to say; 'Eddy Morrison has indeed had a remarkable career. He has been fighting for 'Nationalist Unity' in the National Front, [the notoriously violent] National Democratic Freedom Movement (his own), British National Party (his own) circa 1977, National Front again, British Movement, National Action Party (his own), National Front (again), New National Front, British National Party, National Front (again), Aryan Unity, White Nationalist party, Spearhead Support group, Spearhead Group, Nationalist Alliance and finally British Peoples Party...'

Even if he isn't a success at anything he tries, he may well hold the world record for being useless in more nazi groups than anyone else.

As foolish and impotent as Morrison is though, he is still a confirmed nazi. When approached by Ebanks, his alleged response was to ask her to prove her 'racial ancestry'. This is an allusion to the strong rumour (supported, incidentally, by her mother) that her father, Radwell Ebanks, was black. We don't care what her ancestry is but this response from Morrison serves to show where his concerns lie and indicates clearly the nature of the man. In any case, Ebanks refused to satisfy his curiousity.

Following her resignation/expulsion (the story depends on who tells it) from the BNP and the formation of the NNP, Ebanks promised that her party would field a full slate of candidates across Birmingham. Whether this was because she wanted to be the queen bee of Midlands right-wing political life or just to get the BNP back for its mistreatment of her over her wrongful election last year isn't clear. The BNP is said to be furious at her for the fuss she's made ever since - including starting her own party in a fit of pique - and will do everything it can to stop her. From our point of view of course, any split in the right-wing vote is excellent.

Ebanks' approach to Morrison shouldn't really surprise anyone. Black father or not, she's a racist through and through and obviously expected a better welcome - though Morrison, easily confused, could have been even more confused by her conflicting statements.
