Having already attacked Christianity as a racist anti-White religion, BNP legal director Lee Barnes specifically targets Catholics with accusations of “heresy” and “blasphemy”. He also claims that the Bible is a Catholic forgery. An examination of the BNP’s website also reveals bigoted anti-Catholic views.

In the third instalment of our series of articles on anti-Catholic racism within the BNP, we focus on the anti-Catholic writings of BNP legal director Lee Barnes. In our previous article, we noted that in an August 2008 article Lee Barnes claimed that the White Saxon races were forced to convert to the Catholic faith (see link). But, Lee Barnes’ anti-Catholic tendencies go back further, to his two 2007 articles, 'Is it me or are all the religions going bonkers?' and 'Cultural review of the Year'. In those articles Lee Barnes launches an unwarranted and wholesale attack on Catholic beliefs: he accuses Catholics of “heresy” and “blasphemy”. It is therefore understandable why, in 2006, the head of the Catholic Church in Britain, Cardinal Cormac O'Murphy, called voting for BNP an immoral act.
Anti-Catholic statements on the BNP’s website
Before we examine the anti-Catholic sectarianism of BNP legal director Lee Barnes, the following are anti-Catholic statements on the BNP’s official website:
“I have pointed out the history and origins of Catholicism and how it is an intentional distortion, by Constantine, of the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth”
“This country is Christian NOW. Before the Roman [Catholic] Empire INVADED IT, it was a PAGAN COUNTRY. Also, Christianity is a perversion of the message Jesus had. It was created by MAN, specificaly, Constantine [founder of the Catholic Church], rather than being the true message from GOD”
“expecting the Catholic church to sit back and accept it. Quite simply, the [Catholic] church wouldn’t stand for it. It would be the end of their money-grabbing, choir-boy-buggering way of life”
“If you want to look at other shamefull families in religion, look at the Borgias, and the machinations of Pope Alexander VI, and his virtual pimping of his daughter Lucrezia for political reasons”
BNP legal director Lee Barnes claims Catholicism is “bonkers”
In his December 2007 article, 'Is it me or are all the religions going bonkers?', BNP legal director Lee Barnes claims that Catholics, owing to their beliefs, “live in ignorance”, “dwell in deficiencies” and “remain 'creatures of oblivion'”. Employing racist stereotypes of Italians and Italian-Americans as gangsters, Lee Barnes attacks the Catholic church and the Pope as a “theological mafia,. and the Pope the eqivalent of Tony Soprano”. Lee Barnes most explicit attack on Catholic beliefs is clear when he makes the following denouncement of the entire body of Catholicism:
“The idea that God speaks through only one man or one church is itself blasphemy. The idea that any church or institutionalised religious structure can offer divinity via obedience gto its whims and its rules or holy book is itself a profanity against the eternal Spirit that dwells in the Soul of all men”
Lee Barnes further insults Catholics when he claims that their religious practices are “sold to people for financial or political gain ... pimped out by Popes and priests in the neame of God”. He also claims that Catholic concepts of heaven and hell are “alien” to what he considers to be the true White indigenous pre-Catholic beliefs of Europe destroyed by the Christian faith. Lee Barnes goes on to argue that Catholic belief in potential redemption from purgatory is “the greatest tourist scam in history or what !” Lee Barnes, in an act of the pot calling the kettle black, provides the icing on the cake when he says that such a belief in redemption is the “latest bonkers religious idea comes courtesy of Catholicism”. I guess you have to be bonkers in order to recognise someone else who is also bonkers.
Lee Barnes claims the Bible is a Catholic forgery
In his November 2007 article, 'Cultural review of the Year', Lee Barnes damns the Bible as a Catholic forgery:
"The Bible is a political book constructed by Christians in the Roman [Catholic] Church from the time of Constantine to when Theodosius made it the state religion of Rome, and the allegories it contains were put in the Bible to support its own power and influence in the Holy Roman Empire. It is not the story of Christos.
The Church uses an allegorical astro-theological story for the life of christ because the christ the Church worships is not the true Christos of history or the Gnostic gospels. The christ of the Church is a creation of the church designed to serve the interests of the church and the demiurge Jehovah that the church worships, and therefore the christ of the church is a false christ who worships a false god according to the Gnostic texts.
There are fundamental differences between the manufactured christ of the Bible who is a creation of the Church, and the life and teachings of the Christos who actually lived. The former serves the Church and the demiurge Jehovah, whilst the latter serves the Spirit and the God of Amor who was Abba"
Arise O’ Yaldaboath
But, most cryptically and somewhat bizarrely, BNP legal director Lee Barnes implies that Catholic beliefs are “false” in the most irredeemably faux esoteric manner when he pronounces:
“For God to contain Souls to hell would be the equivalent of self harming, and such a God is not truly God but a demiurge. Yaldaboath has many faces, each of them false.”
Yaldaboath is a fictitious god Lee Barnes, and others within the BNP, posit as a magical deity who will revive the White race from what they see as its current cultural and spiritual oblivion under Christianity. But, what Lee Barnes is trying to imply, with varying degrees of success (although he is more explicit in his other fascist articles), is that this stupendous ‘Yaldaboath’ manifests himself as both a beacon of guidance and misguidance. In other words, ‘Yaldaboath’, almost arbitrarily, misguides those whom he chooses to misguide and guides those whom he chooses to guide. What Lee Barnes means when he writes ‘Yaldaboath has many faces, each of them false’ is that the falsity of Catholic beliefs are evidence of Yaldaboath manifesting his false dimension to misguide Catholics; Yaldaboath exposes them as false only to those endowed with racially-predicated spiritual insight i.e. Lee Barnes and his fellow fascist-Odinist travellers both in and outside the BNP.
Conclusion

The Whore of Revelation and the BNP speaker who wants to destroy Catholics

BNP activist and speaker Alan O’Reilly says Catholics will be deported under a BNP government; declares Catholics to be the enemies of Britain and Christianity; believes Islam, the European Union and eastern European immigration are Catholic plots to destroy Britain; and, that Catholicism was behind communism, World War I & II and the Nazi regime. We enter the mad anti-Catholic world of the dark recesses of the BNP.
Disturbed and disturbing
In May 2008, as the start of a series of articles on the anti-Catholic bigotry that haunts the BNP, we revealed the anti-Catholic prejudice of BNP candidate Alan Girvan and the anti-Catholic violence of BNP northern Ireland organiser Andy McLorie (see link). This article, the second instalment in that series, was triggered by three incidents: the BNP legal director Lee Barnes’ recent claim that the Saxon races were forced to convert to the Catholic faith; the recent sectarian murder of a young Catholic man by the neo-nazi terrorist group Combat 18 (1 = A, 8 = H. This gives AH or Adolf Hitler), set up the BNP in the 1990s; and, the claim by a racist BNP poster called ‘BNP Supporter’ on the Angry Of Havering Forum that:
“A lot of the BNP supporters on this site have pointed out that this is a christain country and that faith has come under attack from other religions in recent years. It actually goes further this is a PROTESTANT country and the religion is the Church of England and this will be the only faith taught in our school. Catholicism is as much a threat to us as Islam. Our Queen is head of the Church of England and the monarch should always be a protestant but in recent years the Catholics have been trying to have this law removed so the monarch can be any faith. Tony Blair was a secret catholic for may years as Prime Minister and only converted publicly when he left office. Britain for the British”
It was whilst researching these incidents that we discovered the frightening anti-Catholic hatred and racism of the clearly disturbed BNP speaker and Australian immigrant Alan O’Reilly. A fanatical devotee of BNP leader Nick Griffin and operator of the Cleveland BNP blog (BNP for Cleveland), Alan O’Reilly should be prosecuted for incitement of hatred against Catholics.
This article will expose, in detail, the sick and reprehensible views of BNP speaker and activist Alan O’Reilly.
The BNP will deport all Catholics and Muslims from Britain
BNP speaker Alan O’Reilly threatens Catholics and Muslims with the following warning:
“As and when it comes to power a BNP Government would be constitutionally entitled summarily to eject you. All Muslim supporters, Marxist supporters, Papal [i.e. Catholic] supporters etc. could be 'ex-patriated' to countries where such regimes prevail”
Catholics can never be British
BNP speaker Alan O’Reilly classifies Catholics as an enemy category who must be ethnically cleansed from Britain because they can never be British (odd given that Britain was once a Catholic country!):
“I would include them [Catholics] in the 'foreign white' category, which you seem to have overlooked in my earlier posts - they certainly could not be described as ‘white Britons’”
That Islamic/Catholic/EU/Sinn Fein/IRA plot to destroy the UK with Catholic immigrants!
Initially, Alan O’Reilly claims that the European Union (EU) is “a Vatican-inspired project to destroy Britain. Swamping us with foreigners is part of the overall strategy”. But, he then goes on to claim that this is part of a much larger plot between Islam, the Catholic Church, the EU, Sinn Fein and the IRA to destroy Britain by flooding the country with Catholic immigrants from eastern Europe!:
“Sinn Fein actually support illegal immigrants! Eastern Europeans, particularly Poles, are the same religion as Sinn Fein/IRA. Poland is 96% Catholic and Lithuania is 69% Catholic - these were the two European nations mentioned in the BT article. This kind of immigration can only help the Sinn Fein/IRA cause, which is a united Ireland under the Pope. The EU's aim is that mainland Britain should suffer the same fate - and the Mozzies [Muslims] are also a means to that end. Mozzie aggression is a means of driving the British population back into the 'fold,' as the Pope will be perceived as the only leader of any substance willing to stand up to them. He never really apologised for his anti-Mozzie remarks, only regretted that he had been 'misunderstood.'”
Alan O’Reilly then claims that the Catholic Church murders public critics of the EU:
"that's what happens to EU dissenters in public life, who speak the truth. The Vatican is poised for the kill. It is hoped that a government can be elected within the next decade to stave off the Pope's 'coup de grace' but time is running critically short."
This anti-British conspiracy then extends to the Nazis and the African National Congress (ANC) because:
“The IRA and the Nazis all belonged to the same [Catholic] church. Their blood-brotherhood in terror (along with Islam and the ANC) should surprise no-one”.
Catholics are not Christians
Condemning the Catholic religion as the “whore of Revelation”, Alan O’Reilly states: “Catholicism isn't Christianity” and reiterates this on BNP legal director Lee Barnes’ blog when he says, “Catholicism and Christian belief should not be confused”.
Islam is a Catholic plot against Britain and the Protestant faith!
Following the Catholic immigration conspiracy, Alan O’Reilly claims that:
“Islam is a Vatican creation”.
“Both Catholicism and Islam have a common objective - the destruction of Protestant Britain”
Further, on the blog of BNP newspaper editor Martin Wingfield, Alan O’Reilly asserts that “all the world's religions, including Islam, are gradually merging to worship the Catholic BVM. This is not good news for England's identity, any more than the armada of 1588 was”.
This is because, as Alan O’Reilly claims, the real enemy of Britain and the White race are Catholics:
“the real enemy, which is the same one Britain has always had since Henry VIII broke with Rome in the 16th century. It's just a question of straegy and tactics to suit the times, as in 1588 (Armada), 1642 (Civil War), Stewart Pretenders (1715, 1745), Napoleon (1815), Kaiser Wilhelm II (1914), Adolf (1939-40). All the tyrants alluded to belonged to the same church as Sharia Blair, with the exception of the Kaiser and he was a sympathiser, allied to Catholic Austria-Hungary. Adams and McGuinness have been described as "two fine f****** Catholic boys" by IRA heavy Brian Keenan, who masterminded the Libya-IRA connection, i.e. Mozzies[Muslims] and Papists [Catholics] colluding to murder British security personnel”.
One should remind Alan O’Reilly that BNP leader Nick Griffin himself once visited Libya to secure funding from Gaddafi’s regime and the BNP carried articles in its then official magazine, Spearhead, in support of Gaddafi under the leadership of BNP founder John Tyndall. Are Nick Griffin and John Tyndall now in league with the ‘Mozzies’ as ‘Papist’ co-conspirators? This aside, the Catholic threat is very real for Alan O’Reilly because, according to him, former British Prime Minister Tony Blair was “another papal puppet”. Then, on the BNP website, Alan O’Reilly claims that the Church of England (CoE) never fully recovered from what he regards as the Catholic assault on it. Elsewhere, the Catholic treat to the Protestant faith, in the particular to the CoE, is clear for Alan O’Reilly:
“Rome's premier target was the 1611 Authorised King James Bible .. he main attack was orchestrated by Romish Anglican Cambridge academics .. They produced the Revised Version of 1881, a Catholic bible that was the forerunner of all the modern bibles that have effectively marginalised the national church”.
Destroy the CoE and you destroy Britain. But, Alan O’Reilly’s real concern is not for the Protestant faith or the CoE. The truth is that he worships race and nation rather than God as he defies Britain and the White race by placing them at the centre of the Protestant faith and the CoE. Not just this, but again on the BNP website, Alan O’Reilly claims that God punished Britain with World War I because:
“Unfortunately, the [Coronation] Oath was tampered with in 1910, to remove the clause whereby the monarch is supposed to disavow the Catholic mass, in accordance with Article 31 of the Church of England’s 39 Articles of Religion .. which is one reason, I believe, why Britain became embroiled in WW1 a mere 4 years after the Oath was corrupted. God is not mocked”
Alan O’Reilly claims Catholics were behind World War One and Two
For Alan O’Reilly the alleged corruption of the Coronation Oath is evidence of the Catholic Church’s modern interference in British affairs that culminated in World War II. But, he goes further. He claims that Catholicism deliberately started both World War One and Two:
“If you want to know who set up WW1, 2, for example, read ‘The Vatican Against Europe’ and’ The Secret History of the Jesuits’ by Edmond Paris, a French writer who was murdered by Jesuits for his publications against them”.
Alan O’Reilly claims Catholics wrote Mein Kampf and were in charge of the concentration camps
Not only does Alan O’Reilly accuse the Catholic faith of directing the Nazi violence against the Jews in 1930s Germany, but he also claims that it was a Catholic priest, not Hitler, who wrote Mein Kampf:
“It was even a Jesuit, Fr. Staempfle, who 'ghosted' Adolf Hitler in the writing of Mein Kampf. Even Hitler had part-Jewish ancestry, as did other leading Nazis but that did not stop him from instigating the murder of 6,000,000 European Jews. That was because he and all the leading Nazis, plus the commandants of the death camps; Hoess, Koch, Stangl etc. all belonged to the same [Catholic] religion - which was not Judaism.You have no chance of winning any war if you can't identify the enemy [i.e. Catholics]”.
But, Alan O’Reilly’s claim that a Catholic priest wrote Mein Kampf is pointless as elsewhere he claims that Hitler was a Catholic carrying out the Pope’s orders.
Attacks on other Christian sects
Not content with attacking Catholicism, in another post Alan O’Reilly takes a swipe at Jehovah's Witnesses and accuses the Greek Orthodox Church, like the Catholic Church, of concealing original parts of the Bible.
Alan O’Reilly claims Catholics are behind communism
Alan O’Reilly then goes on to claim that every prominent communist personality of the twentieth century were in fact secret Catholic agents: “the so-called founders of CommUNism; Marx, Engels, Lenin, Stalin and later Castro”.
The relationship between Catholics and Jews
Alan O’Reilly argues that the “Jewish-Roman collusion against genuine believers is as old as the 1st century Pharisaic declaration”. Alan O’Reilly then claims that the Catholic Church used “renegade Jews to defeat the Russian Orthodox Church via the 1917 Revolution” and “tutored Marx in writing the Communist Manifesto in the Reading Room of the British Museum”. And, the Catholic Church then “instigated the pogroms against Russian Jews to encourage them to help overthrow the Czar”.
But, he also says that the “Jewish loathing for Christians undeniably exists within the State of Israel but the only kind of terror that has reared its ugly head in these isles for the last century has been papal [Catholic] and Islamic”.
Jesus Christ sends earthquakes to punish Muslims for their sins
But, his most sickening claim is that Jesus Christ sent the Kashmir earthquake that killed 75,000 civilians to punish Muslims for the 7/7 bombings in London. Why? Because both events occurred three months apart and so must have been the work of Christ.
Alan O’Reilly’s sick claim that Madeleine McCann was kidnapped by Muslims
A stupid and unjustifiable statement that will surely distress the parents of Madeleine McCann, the British infant who went missing in Portugal, is Alan O’Reilly’s baseless implied claim that it was, conveniently, Muslims (he means non-Whites) who kidnapped Madeleine McCann:
“A pity that a Patricia Harrington act-alike couldn't have been 'riding shotgun' on Madeleine McCann and her siblings. If so, what is the possibility that the outcome might have been two dead Mozzies [Muslims] instead of an abducted 3-year old?”
The Olympics spread “global tyranny”
Bizarrely, Alan O’Reilly claims that the Olympics are a “deception to boost the NWO [New World Order] and eventual global tyranny”.
Foams against mixed-race relationships
Posting on the pro-BNP blog, Sarah Maid of Albion, Alan O’Reilly claims “the media is doing all it can to encourage this inter-racial destruction”. On another site, Alan O’Reilly then claims that pornography “encourage[s] attacks on white girls by non-white males”!
Alan O’Reilly perverts the Bible to justify racial segregation
The reason why Alan O’Reilly can attack inter-racial marriages is due to his apartheid-like perversion of the Bible to justify his racial hatred:
“I have no comment about black males in the media, except that according to holy scripture (along with all those not in the media and their female counterparts), none of them should be living north of Cairo or west of the Azores. Africa, not England, is the land of Ham, the pro-genitor of the black race, Psalm 105:23, 27, 106:22, Genesis 10:6-20 (The Table of Nations - note that Hamites later located in the land of Canaan were out of bounds, which is why they had to be expelled by the Children of Israel under the leadership of Joshua, Joshua 1-24).”
This is the same twisted and evil racio-theological logic that the Klu Klux Klan uses to justify its lynching and murder of Black men and children in the United States. Further, on the Cleveland BNP blog, an excerpt from Alan O’Reilly’s speech at a Teesside BNP meeting states:
“why populate a country like Britain with black Africans and Asians. In the long term, it would only weaken that nation’s physical resilience. I guess that is the agenda”.
Does Alan O’Reilly’s family history of violence explain his disturbed views?
The verbal violence that Alan O’Reilly commits runs through his blood. On his personal blog, alanorei, Alan O’Reilly tells us about his alcoholic grandfather who used to beat up local policemen in western Australia and the violence his father pursued, as he puts it, for “recreation”. Alan O’Reilly comes from a fine lineage.

Further, on the blog of BNP newspaper editor Martin Wingfield, Alan O’Reilly asserts that “all the world's religions, including Islam, are gradually merging to worship the Catholic BVM. This is not good news for England's identity, any more than the armada of 1588 was”.
This is because, as Alan O’Reilly claims, the real enemy of Britain and the White race are Catholics:
“the real enemy, which is the same one Britain has always had since Henry VIII broke with Rome in the 16th century. It's just a question of straegy and tactics to suit the times, as in 1588 (Armada), 1642 (Civil War), Stewart Pretenders (1715, 1745), Napoleon (1815), Kaiser Wilhelm II (1914), Adolf (1939-40). All the tyrants alluded to belonged to the same church as Sharia Blair, with the exception of the Kaiser and he was a sympathiser, allied to Catholic Austria-Hungary. Adams and McGuinness have been described as "two fine f****** Catholic boys" by IRA heavy Brian Keenan, who masterminded the Libya-IRA connection, i.e. Mozzies[Muslims] and Papists [Catholics] colluding to murder British security personnel”.
One should remind Alan O’Reilly that BNP leader Nick Griffin himself once visited Libya to secure funding from Gaddafi’s regime and the BNP carried articles in its then official magazine, Spearhead, in support of Gaddafi under the leadership of BNP founder John Tyndall. Then, on the BNP website, Alan O’Reilly claims that the Church of England (CoE) never fully recovered from what he regards as the Catholic assault on it. Elsewhere, the Catholic treat to the Protestant faith, in the particular to the CoE, is clear for Alan O’Reilly:
“Rome's premier target was the 1611 Authorised King James Bible .. he main attack was orchestrated by Romish Anglican Cambridge academics .. They produced the Revised Version of 1881, a Catholic bible that was the forerunner of all the modern bibles that have effectively marginalised the national church”.
Destroy the CoE and you destroy Britain. But, Alan O’Reilly’s real concern is not for the Protestant faith or the CoE. The truth is that he worships race and nation rather than God as he defies Britain and the White race by placing them at the centre of the Protestant faith and the CoE. Not just this, but again on the BNP website, Alan O’Reilly claims that God punished Britain with World War I because:
“Unfortunately, the [Coronation] Oath was tampered with in 1910, to remove the clause whereby the monarch is supposed to disavow the Catholic mass, in accordance with Article 31 of the Church of England’s 39 Articles of Religion .. which is one reason, I believe, why Britain became embroiled in WW1 a mere 4 years after the Oath was corrupted. God is not mocked”
Alan O’Reilly claims Catholics were behind World War One and Two
For Alan O’Reilly the alleged corruption of the Coronation Oath is evidence of the Catholic Church’s modern interference in British affairs that culminated in World War II. But, he goes further. He claims that Catholicism deliberately started both World War One and Two:
“If you want to know who set up WW1, 2, for example, read ‘The Vatican Against Europe’ and’ The Secret History of the Jesuits’ by Edmond Paris, a French writer who was murdered by Jesuits for his publications against them”.
Alan O’Reilly claims Catholics wrote Mein Kampf and were in charge of the concentration camps
Not only does Alan O’Reilly accuse the Catholic faith of directing the Nazi violence against the Jews in 1930s Germany, but he also claims that it was a Catholic priest, not Hitler, who wrote Mein Kampf:
“It was even a Jesuit, Fr. Staempfle, who 'ghosted' Adolf Hitler in the writing of Mein Kampf. Even Hitler had part-Jewish ancestry, as did other leading Nazis but that did not stop him from instigating the murder of 6,000,000 European Jews. That was because he and all the leading Nazis, plus the commandants of the death camps; Hoess, Koch, Stangl etc. all belonged to the same [Catholic] religion - which was not Judaism.You have no chance of winning any war if you can't identify the enemy [i.e. Catholics]”.
But, Alan O’Reilly’s claim that a Catholic priest wrote Mein Kampf is pointless as elsewhere he claims that Hitler was a Catholic carrying out the Pope’s orders.
Attacks on other Christian sects
Not content with attacking Catholicism, in another post Alan O’Reilly takes a swipe at Jehovah's Witnesses and accuses the Greek Orthodox Church, like the Catholic Church, of concealing original parts of the Bible.
Alan O’Reilly claims Catholics are behind communism
Alan O’Reilly then goes on to claim that every prominent communist personality of the twentieth century were in fact secret Catholic agents: “the so-called founders of CommUNism; Marx, Engels, Lenin, Stalin and later Castro”.
The relationship between Catholics and Jews
Alan O’Reilly argues that the “Jewish-Roman collusion against genuine believers is as old as the 1st century Pharisaic declaration”. Alan O’Reilly then claims that the Catholic Church used “renegade Jews to defeat the Russian Orthodox Church via the 1917 Revolution” and “tutored Marx in writing the Communist Manifesto in the Reading Room of the British Museum”. And, the Catholic Church then “instigated the pogroms against Russian Jews to encourage them to help overthrow the Czar”.
But, he also says that the “Jewish loathing for Christians undeniably exists within the State of Israel but the only kind of terror that has reared its ugly head in these isles for the last century has been papal [Catholic] and Islamic”.
Jesus Christ sends earthquakes to punish Muslims for their sins
But, his most sickening claim is that Jesus Christ sent the Kashmir earthquake that killed 75,000 civilians to punish Muslims for the 7/7 bombings in London. Why? Because both events occurred three months apart and so must have been the work of Christ.
Alan O’Reilly’s sick claim that Madeleine McCann was kidnapped by Muslims
A stupid and unjustifiable statement that will surely distress the parents of Madeleine McCann, the British infant who went missing in Portugal, is Alan O’Reilly’s baseless implied claim that it was, conveniently, Muslims (he means non-Whites) who kidnapped Madeleine McCann:
“A pity that a Patricia Harrington act-alike couldn't have been 'riding shotgun' on Madeleine McCann and her siblings. If so, what is the possibility that the outcome might have been two dead Mozzies [Muslims] instead of an abducted 3-year old?”
The Olympics spread “global tyranny”
Bizarrely, Alan O’Reilly claims that the Olympics are a “deception to boost the NWO [New World Order] and eventual global tyranny”.
Foams against mixed-race relationships
Posting on the pro-BNP blog, Sarah Maid of Albion, Alan O’Reilly claims “the media is doing all it can to encourage this inter-racial destruction”. On another site, Alan O’Reilly then claims that pornography “encourage[s] attacks on white girls by non-white males”!
Alan O’Reilly perverts the Bible to justify racial segregation
The reason why Alan O’Reilly can attack inter-racial marriages is due to his apartheid-like perversion of the Bible to justify his racial hatred:
“I have no comment about black males in the media, except that according to holy scripture (along with all those not in the media and their female counterparts), none of them should be living north of Cairo or west of the Azores. Africa, not England, is the land of Ham, the pro-genitor of the black race, Psalm 105:23, 27, 106:22, Genesis 10:6-20 (The Table of Nations - note that Hamites later located in the land of Canaan were out of bounds, which is why they had to be expelled by the Children of Israel under the leadership of Joshua, Joshua 1-24).”
This is the same twisted and evil racio-theological logic that the Klu Klux Klan uses to justify its lynching and murder of Black men and children in the United States. Further, on the Cleveland BNP blog, an excerpt from Alan O’Reilly’s speech at a Teesside BNP meeting states:
“why populate a country like Britain with black Africans and Asians. In the long term, it would only weaken that nation’s physical resilience. I guess that is the agenda”.
Does Alan O’Reilly’s family history of violence explain his disturbed views?
The verbal violence that Alan O’Reilly commits runs through his blood. On his personal blog, alanorei, Alan O’Reilly tells us about his alcoholic grandfather who used to beat up local policemen in western Australia and the violence his father pursued, as he puts it, for “recreation”. Alan O’Reilly comes from a fine lineage.
Conclusion

BNP candidate in anti-Catholic claims: the indefatigable Alan Girvan strikes again!

Anti-Catholicism?
One of our favourite BNP Walter Mitty characters, the erudite BNP candidate Alan Girvan from Dewsbury has made some very strange legal claims: that Catholic emancipation in Britain is illegal and it is also illegal for all non-Protestants to hold public office!
If it wasn’t for the sheer and utter strangeness of Alan Girvan’s somewhat nuanced legal pronouncement (God knows what provoked it), under ordinary conditions one would normally be filled with admiration for a chap who attempts to single handily overturn roughly 330 years of continuous law through the medium of a solitary internet posting.
On the Archbishop Cranmer blog, Alan Girvan, posting as ‘cromwell316’, makes the following anti-emancipation argument:
“The Bill of Rights 1689 was not an ordinary act of Parliament it was an act of settlement which actually sets up the legality for the present state and give Parliament its power in the first place. It also clearly states that changes to it, were themselves illegal. The Catholic Relief Act implied (not explicit) repeal of the Bill of Rights so my point being that the Bill of Rights was superceded by an unlawful bill, which emancipated Catholics as long as they swore an Oath (even that Act has been repealed since) so all these individuals who are now determined to break what is by LAW a Protestant Kingdom whether they be Catholic, Muslim, Atheist or even Marxists' are not even lawfully in office”.
Now for those of you who were asleep during GSCE History class, the Catholic Relief Act 1778 (culminating in the Catholic Relief Act 1829) initiated a process in Britain and Ireland in the late 18th century and early 19th century which involved reducing and removing many of the discriminatory restrictions on Catholics which had been introduced by the Act of Uniformity, the Test Acts and the Penal Laws. However, Alan Girvan argues that the Catholic Relief Acts are illegal and by extension so is the resultant emancipation of Catholics. Seemingly, Alan Girvan wants to turn the clock back and re-inaugurate discriminatory measures that once made Catholics second-class citizens in their own country. Not only this, but from his subterranean perspective, any British person who is a non-Protestant i.e. a Catholic, Orthodox (Christian), Atheist, Jew, Muslim, Buddhist, etc. is wilfully breaking the law by holding public office in the United Kingdom! Beat that for logic!
BNP’s tainted image amongst Catholics
In the past, the BNP’s appeal to Ulster Catholics has been undermined by its open association with anti-Catholic and anti-Irish Loyalist terrorist groups. Nor will it help that, for example, John Oddy, when he was the BNP’s north-west Wales organiser, allegedly boasted of killing innocent civilians in northern Ireland whilst as a serving soldier, or that its northern Ireland organiser, Andy McLorie (who recently joined a breakaway BNP faction dedicated to removing the current BNP leader Nick Griffin), was jailed for his participation in a Loyalist bomb attack on a Belfast home. When interviewed by the police over the bomb attack, Andy McLorie allegedly made use of the term ‘Taig’, a racist term used to denigrate Catholics. If it weren’t for the lack of space we would list more incidences of anti-Catholic sectarianism and anti-Irish racism committed by BNP members (perhaps to be covered in a separate article).
One can’t help but feel that Alan Girvan is motivated by an antiquated sectarian antipathy towards especially Catholics. After all, why the need to specifically doubt the legal freedoms of Catholics, freedoms that are benignly enjoyed by the rest of us? I thought that the BNP was supposed to be concentrating on attacking Muslims (codeword for ‘Asians’) as its current choice of hapless victim. Alan Girvan’s views on Catholic emancipation can only embarrass and impede the BNP’s efforts to cultivate support amongst Catholics in northern Ireland (as well as damage its image amongst Catholics on the mainland).

This was Alan Girvan expressing this support for Colin Auty, the BNP councillor from Kirklees, in his attempt to displace Nick Griffin as leader of the BNP. But, what was most strange was Alan Girvan’s claim in his posting that his is an “ex-BNP member since Jan 2008”. Seizing on this, Kirklees Unity pointed out the following to Alan Girvan: “Please explain why you still felt the need to stand as a BNP candidate in a winnable seat if you had quit the party back in January?”
Kirklees Unity is 100% correct. In the recent May 2008 local council elections Alan Girvan stood as the BNP’s candidate in the Dewsbury East ward. Strange. Even stranger was Alan Girvan’s claim several years ago, when he stood as an independent candidate in Dewsbury, that he was being manipulated by larger forces as part of some grand anti-BNP conspiracy!
But, what was perhaps Alan Girvan’s finest Walter Mitty moment was his claims to the Yorkshire Post newspaper that he was a “former advisor to American president George W Bush”! How the mighty have fallen, going from having the ear of the world’s most powerful man to being a lowly BNP underling in Dewsbury.
Nor has Alan Girvan had much luck of late in either of his BNP or romantic endeavours! Earlier on in May 2008, Alan Girvan was caught out breaching copyright laws when he used images from the TV show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? in his BNP literature. At the time, 2waytraffic, the company that owns the copyright to the Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? images threatened Alan Girvan with legal action unless the BNP leaflets were withdrawn from circulation.
Shortly before that, Alan Girvan failed in his BNP legal bid to have postal voting banned in Kirklees. Naturally, the court resisted the BNP’s anti-democratic bid and awarded costs against Alan Girvan (if Alan Girvan truly cares about democracy, then he should launch a court case trying to ban BNP candidates registered at fake addresses from standing for election or to have the BNP’s ban on its members joining certain political parties lifted).
Though we understand from rumours that Alan Girvan is currently dating a stripper, we hope that this means Alan Girvan is no longer posting ‘adult’ adverts on various internet dating sites or on popular sites such as FaceParty (quite popular with certain senior BNP officials and their swinger sex parties). We feel that despite his divorce and his dating a stripper, Alan Girvan very much exemplifies the BNP’s much touted family values.
Lastly, we’re contemplating holding a whip-round for hapless old Alan - it seems he’s having difficulty paying his TV licence. I recently came across Alan Girvan complaining on a yahoo forum about having to purchase a TV license and asking fellow contributors on ways he could get round having to buy one! Sorry, Alan but we’ve all got to have one.

We understand from the source, who is currently either inside the BNP or very close to some of the BNP's Kirklees councillors, that Alan Girvan denies being involved in Colin Auty's campaign to replace Nick Griffin as BNP leader. This is despite Colin Auty's campaign site listing Alan Girvan as an official supporter. Based on this information, perhaps Alan Girvan should request that Colin Auty remove his name from the site (we also understand from the source that some BNP members from the pro-Griffin wing in Kirkless/Dewsbury are under the impression that Alan Girvan is working for Colin Auty's campaign. They may be wrong, they may be right).
We also understand from that source that Alan Girvan has, at least privately, recently denounced the BNP or at least some of its members as "racists" and "bigots". Interesting. Took him a long time to figure that out.
We also seem to be getting close to resolving Alan Girvan's claim that he left the BNP in January 2008 despite subsequently standing as a BNP candidate in May 2008. According to our source, it was in fact Colin Auty who personally requested Alan Girvan to stand as a BNP candidate so that if Alan Girvan was elected, Colin Auty would gain another ally in Kirklees. Our only concern is that Colin Auty may have broken BNP rules over putting up a non-BNP member/someone who recently left the BNP as a BNP candidate.

We also seem to be getting close to resolving Alan Girvan's claim that he left the BNP in January 2008 despite subsequently standing as a BNP candidate in May 2008. According to our source, it was in fact Colin Auty who personally requested Alan Girvan to stand as a BNP candidate so that if Alan Girvan was elected, Colin Auty would gain another ally in Kirklees. Our only concern is that Colin Auty may have broken BNP rules over putting up a non-BNP member/someone who recently left the BNP as a BNP candidate.

BNP in hot water over 'Millionaire' leaflet
Who Wants to Be Done for Copyright Theft?A leaflet to promote BNP hopeful Alan Girvan in Dewsbury East was withdrawn after Carl Morphett of the anti-fascist group Kirklees Unity highlighted the breach. The leaflet featured Labour councillors Paul Kane and Eric Firth above the caption: ‘Q. How many years have you promised to clean up Dewsbury?'
2waytraffic, the company that owns the copyright on the Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? images, wrote to Mr Girvan's agent, Coun David Exley, demanding that the leaflets were withdrawn.
Coun Exley said the leaflet was no longer being distributed by the time the complaint occurred.
He said: "The company telephoned me about it. There was no shouting and bawling. They said they weren't happy with the image being used to promote any political organisation - not just the BNP. I gave them notice that it had been withdrawn."
He said the agreement was formalised in writing - and that was the end of the matter. He said he was furious over comments from Carl Morphett "It makes my blood boil. Carl Morphett has nothing better to do than criticise other people's efforts," he added.
Mr Morphett said: "Mr Exley should know that as an agent for Mr Girvan he should have played by the rules."

This is of course, far from the first time that the BNP has happily ignored copyright. A couple of years back, we reported the party's use of one of the children's characters, the Mr Men, dressed as a suicide bomber, on the party's so-called 'jokes' page. Chorion, the company that holds the copyright on the Mr Men, was much perturbed at any association with the far-right party and demanded the removal of the image. Similar breaches occurred with the Apple iPod ad images and the Books for Dummies series images. Anything goes at the BNP.
Just a few weeks ago, we reported the sale of Usborne children's books through the party's Excalibur merchandising site. Presumably the BNP hoped to achieve some spurious and undeserved respectability through their sale and a perceived link between Usborne and itself. Following complaints from ourselves and many of our supporters, Usborne forced the party to remove the books from the Excalibur website.
We need to keep a close watch on the BNP for anything of this nature. We already know that the party will ignore the law wherever it can and on the thinnest pretext, and we need to bring these constant breaches to the attention of a wider public. Keep your eyes skinned, folks.

We are all accustomed to the fact that the idiots in the BNP tell some of the biggest whoppers around. However some tell bigger whoppers than others.

Bush's man makes independent bid for Yorkshire seat
A former advisor to American president George W Bush is fighting the Dewsbury seat as an independent.
Alan Girvan said today he thought he could be the right man in the right place for fed-up voters. Father-of-two Mr Girvan, 36, was born and educated in Heckmondwike. He is a film director, writer and producer and recently left his job as IT sales account manager at AA Training, Batley, to fight the election. He was immediately involved in the United State's response to the 9/11 terrorist attacks in 2001 when he was called on by Mr Bush's former cyber security chief, Richard Clarke, to create a secure airport computer system.

Mr Girvan said he had been previously been invited to the US to create an alternative to the Internet.
"It was when I was working on that, the 9/11 attacks took place and I was one of the people they called in to ask about setting up a secure computer system for airports."
The idea was rejected by Congress because of the cost.
Mr Girvan said of his decision to stand in Dewsbury: "I think there is a sense of apathy and despair but you don't have to vote for the same old parties. I am standing on a number of issues, important to Dewsbury, chief among which is the state of the hospital. Taxpayers are paying a lot of money, yet they still might have to spend £40 on a taxi to get to Pinderfields, or get six buses. I am also concerned about the future of Dewsbury Market and our estates, which need funding. The people have long lost out to a Huddersfield-centred Kirklees."
He added that the politicians had over-estimated people's feelings about Iraq.
"It might be a bigger issue down south but in this area I think people are more bothered about heroin addicts shooting up in the street, or burgling to feed their habit."
Other candidates are Shahid Malik (Lab); Sayeeda Warsi (Tory); Kingsley Hill (Lib Dem); Brenda Smithson (Green); Alan Girvan (IND) and David Exley (BNP).

Yet another Yorkshire BNP criminal
It is getting hard to keep up with the felons that call themselves the BNP.
On March 17th at Leeds Magistrates Court John Powell was found guilty of assault by beating/battery of it is believed his wife.
Powell who stood as a BNP candidate in Beeston & Holbeck in 2004,Garforth and Swillington in 2006 and Killingbeck and Seacroft in 2007 received a 12 months community order. It isn't known if the BNP in Leeds intend to stand Powell again in this Mays council elections.
Of course Powell isn't the first BNP member to raise his hand to his wife. Brian Turner from Burnley was convicted of attacking his wife and a police officer whilst a councillor yet the BNP refused to disown him. In fact they even defended him by issuing a statement saying: “we are not in the business of persecuting our members because the state considers someone guilty.”
Brave patriots attacking women.
