Although no-one seems to have any clear idea of which way the vote will go, there is a very real chance that the BNP could pick up a seat. We want to know if that happens as soon as it happens (though we'd much rather hear that Griffin and his nazi chums had failed miserably, of course), so any news re' the Euro's can go in the comments section to this post.
It's unlikely that any results will come through until 10pm at the earliest (though it'll probably be much later), so we'll be on and letting comments through as they arrive from then. See you later, folks. :-)

What a pisser. I stay up half the night and a couple of bloody nazis get in. Can I sue the BNP for loss of sleep and my impending high stress levels?
It is up to the entertainment section of the media including stand ups and comedy writers to relentlessly take the piss out of Cyclops until the whole of Britain treats him like the joke he is.
The bend-over-backwards BBC will ensure Andrew Marr gets his interview on a comfortable sofa with Cyclops, allowing him to sprout lots of racist propaganda on the national television service paid for with public money from the licence fee.

The one story which needs to be punctured is the inane but repeated comparison between the Asociation of Black Policemen and women, and the all white policies of the BNP.
Journalists need to have an answer to this piece of dogma, as they seem to go quiet as far as digging the dirt, the moment Cyclops comes out with this fetid piece of bullshit.
This ridiculous comparison between an anti-racist association set up to protect black and Asian police from canteen prejudice and bad promotion prospects by no means can be compared to white supremacism which itself is 100% racist.
I happened to watch his bullshit interview, and Cyclops had the gaul to tell journalists not to ask any questions about immigration and repatriation.

Brons was a member of Colin Jordan's National Socialist Movement, albeit at a very young age, and Searchlight have a letter from him on file somewhere where he's ordering some nazi stickers with swastikas to post up around Yorkshire.
In the NF he had a reputation for being a bit of an intellectual but boring - Martin Webster once nicknamed him Bronsosaurus.
He split with Griffin in 1986 and in the NF publication Attempted Murder he was accused by Griffin and his ally Derek Holland of working for the state. I could post a link if you wish me to but the only place I can find it is at a nazi site and I'm unsure of your rules.
His erstwhile colleagues wondered how he managed to hold down a job as a politics lecturer at Harrogate College whilst being Chair of what was then Britain's best-known Nazi party.
He is not gay, at least he is/was married. In fact he was one of the very few leading NF members who Martin Webster didn't accuse of being in the closet.
If there are any positives to come from tonight it's that having known both Brons and Griffin I would seriously doubt the BNP should be expecting to see much Euro cash from either of these two any time soon. One is as tight as a duck's arse and the other is a conman.
As for Griffin, he aspires to be something he could never be as leader of the BNP. I can see him drifting away and trying to reinvent himself as something from the slightly softer right in the hope of being allowed to come in from the cold. Whether Brons will follow him or not is debatable, but he has all the charisma of a golf ball either way.

I can't find the specific references to Brons but they are there somewhere, and anyway the Griffin faction at the time were convinced to a man that Brons was a police agent.
Just for information, although Griffin signed the introduction the booklet was actually written by Holland.
