An accident waiting to happen?

6 Comment (s)

A by election has been called in the St Helens ward of Barnsley council for October 13th following the resignation of the Labour councillor Roy Butterwood.

Once seen as a BNP stronghold despite never actually winning an seat there, BNP support in the area has gradually ebbed away and the local branch like others around the country, is in disarray.

Local party moral is so low that when the by election was announced the prospective BNP candidates were scarce on the ground.

Eventually Danny Cooke, the Yorkshire deputy regional organiser put his name forward.

In a piece on the BNP website, (probably penned by himself), the self titled “Hardworking Yorkshire Deputy Organiser” announces his candidature and appeals for assistance in the election campaign. As part of his appeal, Cooke includes his contact details including a very interesting email address.

The chilling reason why that email address is of interest is that it was part of the mailing list used by Norwegian mass murderer Anders Behring Breivik.

Breivik is the Norwegian right wing extremist and self confessed killer of 69 people, mostly teenagers in July of this year, and who sent out his “manifesto” entitled 2083 – A European Declaration of Independence
to a select group of people he believed shared his twisted ideology. One of those who he chose to send it to was Danny Cooke.

Now we certainly aren’t saying that Cooke is another Breivik, but there are certainly a number of worrying traits in his personality.

He has a conviction for affray for which he received a community order and also has a particular liking for rape jokes.

He was also photographed with a firearm at the now notorious
Rotherham St Georges Day celebration that saw a number of BNP officials
pictured with guns. http://www.hopenothate.org.uk/news/article/1876/gunning-for-st-george

Most worrying of all were comments Cooke made around the
time the murderer Raoul Moat was at large in the north east. In one comment Cooke claimed that “He fancied doing a Raoul Moat” and in another comment claimed that “Listening to Raoul Moat tapes is like listening to me talking to my GP”

Cooke appears to be an accident waiting to happen, we hope the people of St Helens send him packing as we expect that they will.

Griffin's large glass house...

5 Comment (s)
As we reported yesterday the clock is ticking for the BNP.

There is an old and familiar saying that Nick Griffin would be wise in taking heed in relation to this matter. The saying goes that “People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones”.

Nick Griffin on his Twitter account wrote today “Banks not only corrupt but stupid. Anyone who gives a young West African access to their bank account deserves to be cleaned out. UBS might just as well have given their details to an email scammer “

That’s more than a bit rich given the state of Britain’s supposedly superior all-white party. It appears the BNP has failed in their attempts to raise the required £45,000 needed to halt the winding up order against the party. No surprises there, then.

So with the bailiffs knocking on the door once again we have to wonder what Nick Griffin and the BNP’s next move may be, perhaps the answer lies in Scotland?

We can reveal that some senior BNP officers have set up two new limited companies at the same Edinburgh address used by the fake BNP trade union Solidarity.

One of the companies “Heritage Protection Concerns Ltd” has some very familiar names listed as it officers. Jennifer Matthys, daughter of Nick Griffin is listed as company secretary, along with her hapless husband Angus.

Also listed is party manager Adam Walker who appears to be named as a director of the company. Walker is already in debt on behalf of the party to the tune of £20,000 .

Another company listed at the address is the rather grandly titled “Europa Social Political & Economic Research Establishment Ltd”.

The Edinburgh address just happens to belong to Patrick Harrington, who runs a tiny political sect called “Third Way”. The former NF leader and General Secretary of the fake trade union Solidarity now acts as a consultant to Nick Griffin while on the party’s payroll in the European Parliament as well as putting candidates up against the BNP when it suits him.

Have these two new companies been set up as a means of protecting the BNP’s assets perhaps?

As for the party’s other assets, they have lost their last remaining councillor in West Yorkshire today too. He held out as long as he could, but it seems that Tom Baites could bear it no more and this morning resigned the BNP whip for Illingworth and Mixenden ward on Calderdale council.

What with Baites gone, there would also appear to be a hunt on for the allegedly missing webmaster Chris Barnett. Apparently he’s just vanished into thin air.

Not that the BNP are telling anyone about any of this. What with Griffin tweeting away about untrustworthy Africans and the party press officer continuing his well worn habit of berating everything and everyone other than his falling Fuhrer, you’d think it was all going like clockwork for the BNP. The problem is, that clock is ticking too fast for them...

One of our sources inside the BNP rung us a moment ago to say that they feel compelled to close all of the windows just to stop BNP officers throwing themselves from them. Still, at least they managed to get their nominations in for a by-election in Barnsley on time. That too is a bit of a gift, and we’ll be blogging about it later today when we have finished laughing.

The party is still trying to carry on regardless, no doubt tweeting that it needs more cash donations etc, etc. But they do have one secret weapon. They have Charlie Wythe from Manchester. He has apparently just stepped into carry out some design work for the party. The freelancer is obviously not expecting payment?

Oops, did I say "secret"?

BNP Official Convicted for Racist Tirade.

8 Comment (s)

A BNP organiser and local candidate was yesterday found guilty of using racially aggravated threatening or insulting words and behaviour after he called a petrol station worker “A black bastard”.

Darren Lumb, the BNP organiser for Wakefield, was found guilty at Pontefract Magistrates Court following an altercation with garage staff regarding the price of its diesel.

Lumb had already been banned from the petrol station in March 2011 following a similar argument with staff; however he returned on St George’s day in May and following his racist outburst staff demanded he left and called the police who later arrested him for the offence.

Lumb who was flanked by a dozen BNP members & supporters at court pleaded not guilty, claiming that he never visited the garage and that he was at a BNP St Georges Day event in Rotherham.

This was the same event that a number of BNP officials including Firth and Cooke were photographed drunkenly handling firearms http://www.hopenothate.org.uk/news/article/1876/gunning-for-st-george

BNP officials Danny Cooke and Rachel Firth all gave evidence on his part, failing to mention the fact that both hold senior positions with the party.

Unemployed Lumb who has previous convictions for assault and disorder was found guilty by magistrates and was given a conditional discharge and ordered to pay £250 in costs.

Griffinite Lumb, who once declared on Facebook that he was a “Hard line, anti establishment Aryan", has a 'Tree of life' tattoo on his forearm. This symbol, also known as the life rune, is a favourite among nazi groups worldwide, several of which have adopted it as their logo. Under Hitler it was the symbol of the SS Lebensborn project, which encouraged SS troopers to have children out of wedlock with “Aryan” mothers and kidnapped children of Aryan appearance from the countries of occupied Europe to raise as Germans.

Outside the court some of Lumbs BNP supporters attempted to intimidate local journalists by taking their photographs and threatening to post their details on the neo Nazi website Redwatch.

BNP Kirklees candidate poses with gun at Yorkshire campsite

0 Comment (s)
A COUNCIL candidate has been pictured brandishing a gun.

Rachel Firth, who is standing for the British National Party (BNP) in Thursday’s Kirklees Council elections, was photographed holding a handgun.

The Skelmanthorpe mother-of-two was pictured along with other senior party activists at a campsite.

Mrs Firth, who is the BNP’s Kirklees organiser, was snapped standing next to a Renault aiming a black handgun.

The weapon is believed to be a replica.

Mrs Firth’s boyfriend Danny Cooke, BNP organiser in Barnsley, is also pictured brandishing a gun.

Salford candidates Gary Tumulty and Keith Fairhurst were snapped posing with replica automatic weapons.

The photos were taken at a BNP St George’s Day celebration at Hooton Lodge Country Inn campsite near Rotherham.

The manager of the campsite is believed to have been unaware of the fact the get-together was organised by the BNP and that replica guns would be used.

Mrs Firth, who is standing for the BNP in Denby Dale in Thursday’s Kirklees election, could not be reached for comment yesterday.

The pictures are believed to have appeared on Facebook last weekend before being reproduced on the Hope Not Hate website run by anti-fascist group Searchlight.

The pictures include a snap of three men mooning to the camera.

Earlier this month the Examiner revealed that many BNP activists in Kirklees had left the party in protest at the leadership of Nick Griffin.

The defectors, who have joined the English Democrats, complained of the BNP’s “terrible image”.

David Exley, a former BNP councillor for Heckmondwike, is among those who have quit the party.

He said yesterday that the pictures of party members brandishing guns vindicated his decision to leave.
Mr Exley said: “When I joined the BNP, I joined what I thought was a serious political party with serious aims and people who wanted to achieve those aims by democratic means.

“But all the people who have tried to do that have been got rid of by Nick Griffin.

“All the quality people have now gone and, as you can see in these pictures, we’re left with a bunch of idiots.

“I’m glad I’m out of the BNP.”

Clr Andrew Cooper, who leads the four-strong Green group on Kirklees Council, also condemned the pictures yesterday. The Newsome man said: “If this is how the BNP celebrate St George’s Day, then they are out-of-touch with what it means to be English.

“We’re not the sort of country like the US where lots of people have guns.

“We’re a civilised country which doesn’t use guns as common currency.

“I think this is part of the culture of the BNP, it’s a party which believes in allowing large-scale gun ownership.

“I’m very suspicious of any politician who uses guns as an acceptable photo opportunity.”

More expulsions expected

9 Comment (s)

In fact, we should demand them! BNP press officer Simon Darby has in his own words begun a night of "sustained alcohol abuse". I can't say I really blame him. Having been deserted by his band of political psychopaths, racists and criminals, Darby has spent a large part of the last few days trying to convince the media that there is a mass conspiracy of BNP members having their email and facebook accounts hacked and random acts of vicious and racist remarks left on their social network pages.

Just to ensure that the BNP has a safety clause however, I read on one BNP site this afternoon that: 'BNP Central Office has indicated that people who bring the organisation into disrepute by idiocy will be expelled and remarked that idiocy is not free speech, but sheer stupidity'.

So, let's get the ball rolling with three of the BNP's candidates for Barnsley. Most of their thoughts and comments cannot be repeated. They are so extreme and in places sickening in their vile, racist rants, taking a sick group pleasure attacking ordinary members of the community for their skin colour or their religon.

One candidate, Danny Cooke, makes excessive claims and boasts about carrying out illegal and sickening acts with an animal while egged on by his party colleagues. In other posts, he asks other BNP members to remove pictures of former Barnsley BNP by-election candidate Enis Dalton from their profiles, stating "I'm sick of seeing the bitch".

Then there's Raymond Hinchcliffe, standing in Barnsley Dearne South, who claims that when he sees black people he is reminded to eat a banana, or tells Asians to "F*** O** YOU SMELLEY (sic) B*******" which is also pretty much the way he views and writes about Turkish people.

Finally, Peter Shirt the candidate for Rockingham Ward. Shirt likes to make jokes about the Holocaust, where millions of people were murdered by Nazis. Not only does he make jokes about it, it would seems he positively encourages it. As he does it would seem, violence against women too.

As well as lots of jokes about beating his wife up, he then makes a sickening reference to Peter Sutcliffe who was known as the Yorkshire Ripper, a rapist and a serial murderer who terrorised the north of England, murdering thirteen women.

Why do so many men in the BNP make jokes about beating women and rape? Is it Freudian? Or is it further indication about how very little respect and how much pure hatred these people have for women? I believe it is all.

Shirt also describes Muslims as "f****** revolting".

Over to you, who ever is left running the BNP.
