The BNP moves into horse-trading

More money-making lunacy from the BNP

Nick Griffin's mania for new opportunities to make money continues unabated with the sudden creation of a completely new venture - Horse Matters - which purports to be 'the UK's premier source of equestrian news and events', despite the fact that the site has only existed for about half an hour and doesn't even work properly.

Griffin - who really should be concentrating on submitting the BNP's long-overdue accounts to the Electoral Commission - is obviously intending to saturate the entire internet with fraudulent companies claiming to be the premier this or the UK's best that, but the only thing they really have in common is that they show the BNP leadership's desperation to fleece as many people as possible in the shortest possible time.

We all know about the companies that appear like mushrooms wherever the BNP sees an opportunity for a scam - Albion Life, the insurance brokers that died after little more than a month (hope it was insured), Brightahomes, the double-glazing nonsense that still appears to be going (just - do a search for it via Google and a single link appears), the Skip-Hire Registry, another internet-based company that disappeared almost as soon as it was formed, Avocado Mortgages, that claimed to be the 'right site for your every mortgage requirement' though nobody in their right minds would trust the BNP or Nick Griffin with more than a box of paper-clips let alone their mortgage - and they are widely regarded as a joke of the first order though the deeper we look, the more we feel there is yet to be discovered.

Horse Matters is, it claims on the site, sponsored by Avocado Mortgages. This presumably is entirely meaningless as Avocado has only been in existence since late-June and is unlikely to have made more than a tenner for the BNP in that time. So what's the point in the reference to Avocado? Simply that the BNP, which nobody trusts, seeks to legitimise its many and various enterprises by referencing them to other BNP enterprises. Brightahomes, Avocado and now Horse Matters avoid any mention of the BNP - unlike the defunct Albion Life - and thus avoid being tainted by it, at least until they're caught out.

Griffin and the BNP's indiscriminate and growing frenzy to raise money points us to one of two conclusions - that the party is almost bankrupt, is on its last legs and Nick Griffin is panicking, or that there is a big plan afoot which urgently needs funding. Speculation is rife among anti-fascists as to which it could be but we're beginning to see distinct hints in our correspondence that the Croatia angle should not be ignored under any circumstances.

That's speculation that we can leave for another article when we have a little more information but in the meantime, if you have any more info on the BNP's curious world of dodgy companies, please let us know. At the very least, we can have a good laugh at them.

The BNP membership are a bunch of racist bastards who have precisely the leader they deserve - a fraud, cheat and liar. May he remain leader until he destroys the BNP completely!

Why not do a page on BNP businesses?

'Why not do a page on BNP businesses?'

Someone suggested this in the comments on the ABEX story and we plan to do it - maybe including the front-groups too (Christian Council, Solidarity and so on). I'll be on my jollies next week so I'll have a chance to do it then. :-)

When Griffin retires, his daughter will take over. It's a family dynasty, folks.

If you don't believe it bnp members, ask Dodgy Nick about how he is grooming his daughter to take over when he retires. There will never be any other BNP leader than a Griffin.

ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!!!

That's such good news for anti-racists.

Britain generally is a nation of horse lovers (I know you're all knuckle draggers but no sick jokes please, you know what I mean).

It's a part of British heritage and British culture. Many a war has been won on the back of a faithful steed.

So what's wrong with the BNP broadcasting Equestrian news or are horses evil now?

That's nothing at all to do with this article and your pathetic attempt at a diversion simply won't work.

Quite so

BNP members need to ask themselves if they belong to a string of Griffin owned companies or a political party. If they opt for the latter they must insist he stop spending their money on such stupid things and making them look ridiculous.

Every neo-fascist loves an Arfur Daley!!!

What fake business next? A non-existent "far-right funeral home" with swastika insignias on the gravestones, so they can nick the pension plans of their gullible supporters?

If this was a "proper politicsl party" rather than a bunch of lowlife nohopers, the leader would be deposed stright away, for making the party a laughing stock.

Hello there, I just found this article and blog and I am sad to see that the websites mentioned are being given a bad name because they have been associated with the BNP, which is completely false.

I am the web developer of the sites: brightahomes, avocado mortgages and horse-matters. These sites which I have built for myself (yes to make some extra money) are not related whatsoever to the BNP and I should mention that I am no way in favour of the BNP and their extreme policies.

For the past 2 years I have built and developed these sites myself, I have no contact to the BNP or any BNP members, however I believe I might know where the confusion may come from...when I first started in the field of web design/development, close to where I lived was a small business called Connections which offered very cheap Web hosting and domain registration. It was not until some time later that I learned that the managing director of this business could be somewhat related to the BNP. However, this has never been mentioned or affected the service they have provided me over the years to supply me with domain names and web hosting.

I really hope this helps clarify the situation with these websites. I honestly have no connection to the BNP and I really think that any political party has better things to do and have better ways to generate income than create a few websites which only brings in a couple hundred pounds per month.

If anybody would like to discuss this with me further please email me: support@brightahomes.co.uk
