BNP supporter rejected by parish council

A British National Party supporter has vowed to call a local election after Upper Beeding Parish Council rejected her as a member for the second time.

Donna Bailey, 41, stood to be co-opted on to the parish council on Tuesday (November 6) after being rejected in September in what she described as an 'undemocratic' process. However, she lost out on a seat once again after a paper ballot was taken this week.

Mrs Bailey said she feels the parish councillors have been blinded by her BNP membership and will now resort to asking for a local election in the village. She said: "Politics should not influence decisions made at parish council level. How right is it that I am not allowed to be co-opted on just because I am a member of the BNP?

Chairman David Coldwell said afterwards: "The atmosphere at the meeting was emotionally charged and I am afraid that within parts of the council, Mrs Bailey does excite some passion."

At the meeting, three people were co-opted on to the council leaving just two vacancies.

So she was democratically rejected (twice) by the parish council's standard procedure and is now intending to force a public election that will empty the parish council's coffers in another attempt to force herself where she isn't wanted. That is SO BNP.

Funny. If anyone brings politics into parish councils its the BNP.

Nice bit of stuff, though.

The BNP are getting very excited by this subject of co-option/ non co-option to parish councils at the moment.

As usual, they are trying to have their cake and eat it -

on the one hand they claim that the BNP membership of their members should be irrelevant BUT at the same time they are also claiming that BNP members on parish councils are a "good" thing.

Surely they are either BNP or not!!!

Or, on the other hand, perhaps I should simply remember that they are idiots!

ps. I am Clerk to a number of Parish Councils; during my time I have known about 35-40 individual parish councillors. I can identify the political allegiances of ... er ... none of them! Most parish councils would find overt political affiliation undesirable to put it mildly.

Easy to see why. She is defintiely the acceptable face of British Nationalism.

When did the nazis ever care about democracy?

Bit sexist that. She could be the best looking woman on the planet but she's BNP.

BNP = ugly mind

And no mention of remembrance Sunday on your blog. Kinda says it all. But then again I dont suppose much of you have seen much service, or done much for your country. It's about time you aknowledge the changing membership of the BNP. I feel you are in a timewarp from about 10 years ago. I suggest you grow up, find a decent job, children perhaps, then you may just see the dangers your children will face if Britain continues on the path its doing at the moment. I had a look at your site out of curiosity, and frankly I am a little dissapointed. You are at playground level. Maybe some of you lot will have the guts to stand for election. But then again you lot are not serious are you. You prefer to play lets bash the fash childish games, its exciting for you, nothing more, because you are like little kids looking for a buzz. Pathetic really pathetic. If you want a buzz go down to the armed services recruiting office. Its fun over in Iraq, a real buzz. But then you kids dont have the guts for that eh. Hope to see you at Blackpool chanting your stupid bile. Its funny like a day at the zoo. You provide such entertainment.

What about this? http://lancasteruaf.blogspot.com/2007/11/bnp-tries-to-hijack-poppy-day.html

"I suggest you grow up, find a decent job, children"
I'm 54, a father of 5 and a grandfather to 3. How grown up do you want me to be?

"find a decent job"
Probation service do you?

"Maybe some of you lot will have the guts to stand for election."
Done that. Spent four happy and successful years as a county councillor.

You should take your blinkers off son. It's not only students and/or lefties that hate your filthy politics.

Or Simon's: "Good day on the bird feeders today as at one point I had four different types of tits."

Or Nick's (still full of crap about the pointless US tour you numpties paid for.)

Or Lee's (too busy slagging LUAF off on Scumfront on Sunday)

Martin doesn't say much either. Nothing at all, in fact.

Well no - we don't see it as a political event ripe for exploitation, even if the BNP does.

As always, I attended Yarmouth's service with my uncle (ex-Royal Norfolk), who was there to remember comrades, friends and family lost in the Second World War.

Curiously, it never occurred to him to have his photograph taken for inclusion on some tacky BNP blog.

Amazing how the BNP eulogise the war every year with enthusuasm but are first to start the shouts of "it was sixty years ago - get over it" whenever anyone mentions the Holocaust.

Yes the Nazis seem to be getting better looking. As anyone seen Nick Cass's wife Suzy?

She is hot and apparantly a real popular figure as a physio at the Dewsbury Rams rugby club.

Odd considering the clubs anti racism stance.

Does the club know shes a former Dewsbury East BNP candidate and Nazi?

If not they should do.

Why don't you phone & let them know the facts then?

Or have you already tried & discovered they don't share your extreme views - i.e. that a BNP candidate is not necessarily a 'Nazi', except in your twisted mind.

Evidence of your loathsome character lies in the fact that you describe her as 'hot and apparently a real popular figure'.

And yet you want to get her sacked from her job!

What is it - do you think - you would like to do most?

Lust after her or punish her? Maybe you want to do both; maybe the two are indistinguishable in your mind.

Someone may try to do the same to you one day.

Hope so.
