British National Party to hold 'summit' in Birmingham

The British National Party is to hold a major "summit" in Birmingham tonight to discuss how to boost their support in the city. The meeting - which comes at a time of heightened debate and sensitivity over immigration - was condemned last night by Birmingham's only ethnic MP, Khalid Mahmood.

BNP activists will gather at the Birmingham Unity Club in New Summer Row, an area traditionally known as the city's Gun Quarter. According to a source, the event is being described as the most important in the party's Birmingham history and comes ahead of a national conference this weekend.

However, BNP deputy leader Simon Darby, who is also the party's regional organiser for the West Midlands, said: "It is an internal thing. It is not a conference. We are a legitimate political party. We support the democratic process. We are going to discuss how we go forward in Birmingham. We have a lot of support in Birmingham and we contest all 40 seats."

The BNP's Birmingham website claims the city's white population is suffering from "ethnic cleansing" and maintains the "indigenous British population of Birmingham is doomed". It warns "the destruction of the unique culture of Birmingham will not go unopposed" and adds: "A small team comprised of truck drivers, carers, warehousemen, middle management, mothers, service sector workers and professional people committed to democratic non-violent resistance to the ethnic cleansing of the city".

Mr Mahmood (Lab Perry Barr) said: "I am very concerned about the way they talk about this issue of ethnic cleansing. It is disgraceful when you have a huge amount of work put in by members of the ethnic minority community of Birmingham to ensure our city thrives and moves forward. These people are living in the Dark Ages. We need to make proper representation and counter arguments against these people. Their ethos is against the very people who are building up Birmingham."

According to its manifesto, the BNP believes British people of "foreign descent" should be offered grants to encourage them to leave the country "permanently". It also advocates making all benefits and social housing "only available to British citizens" and abolishing anti-discrimination laws.

Questions about Darby

1, Why is it that the press printed Darby's statement containing lies about Simon Smiths resignation but didn't print Smiths statement where he claimed financial impropriety on the part of the BNP?

2, Why is it that the press printed Darby's statement on Sharon Ebanks resignation which contained lies but didn't print Sharon Ebanks's claims of financial misdeeds?

3, How did Simon Darby know Sharon Ebanks was recieving telephone calls from a psycopathic nutcase in Sweden and even knew his name?

4, Why was Simon Darby first to arrive at the courts during Kevin Hughes appeal, so keen to be there he even arrived 30 mins before Kevins wife and knew how much Hughes's sentence would be reduced by before the hearing?

5, Why did Darby tell Valerie Tyndall on a visit to her home in Brighton that it was the first time he'd ever been to Brighton when he did in fact attend Brighton University?

6, Why is it that the press and other journalists are always keen to print everything that Darby says?

7, Why did Darby join the NF weeks after the MI5 agent Andy Carmichael?

8, Why did Darby move to the same expensive close in Cannock within feet of Carmichaels house?

9, Why did the press not pick up on Darby giving a false business address when he was elected to Castle and Priory in Dudley? The people at that business address had never heard of him.

10, Why have the statements of persons nominated for 2003 along with those addresses been destroyed by Dudley Council?

11, Why is Darby not really active within the BNP?

12, What is the secret of 97 Camplin Crescent?

Many of us are coming to the conclusion that Mr Darby actually works for the state and is, how he can afford to drive a volvo and do up his tasty little farmhouse in Welshpool. Darby claims to be in the upholstery and furniture trade but when a cunning BNP member questioned him on various aspects of upholstery, Darby, didn't have a clue.

Since when did half a dozen saddoes in the back room of a pub constitute a "major summit" ?????

"audited accounts"
"falling membership"
"dwindling numbers of councillors"
"fat nicks expenses to America"

All this talk about accounts but nothing is happening.

Membership is rising.

Councillor numbers are rising (shock horror that they may actually go down a few before they go up again at the next elections!)

The visit to the USA will actually generate more finance from supporters than spent. Why else do you think he would go there?

Also, lol @ my first comment EVER being posted here. If I were to simply leave a comment saying "fucking immigrants vote BNP!" I could get so much more attention here... The moderators will only submit messages that play on peoples negative stereotypes of the BNP.

You won't post this message.

That's irony (look it up).

'All this talk about accounts but nothing is happening.'

Precisely, and that's why we keep talking about it.

'Membership is rising.'

If you believe that, you're a fool.

'Councillor numbers are rising (shock horror that they may actually go down a few before they go up again at the next elections!)'

No, the numbers are stagnating. They may drift up or down slightly but the indications are that you've reached a plateau.

'The visit to the USA will actually generate more finance from supporters than spent. Why else do you think he would go there?'

Sheer desperation. Hasn't he told you that the UK donations are rapidly drying up?

'You won't post this message.'

You're clearly desperate to get posted on the blog so we thought we'd let you. Maybe next time you'd better do your homework first though.

I'm sure the Yanks will be delighted to know he's only interested in their money. Any money raised in America will never be seen by the BNP or its members. Ask Mark Cotterill what Griffin does with money from America :-)

'All this talk about accounts but nothing is happening.'

Precisely, and that's why we keep talking about it. - The BNP are not imploding, and donations to the party have been coming in healthily - trust me on this.

'Membership is rising.'

If you believe that, you're a fool. - Again, I know for a fact that it is.

'Councillor numbers are rising (shock horror that they may actually go down a few before they go up again at the next elections!)'

No, the numbers are stagnating. They may drift up or down slightly but the indications are that you've reached a plateau. - You don't have a broad enough time frame to make this point. The fact is, in the last two local elections, BNP membership has gone up, albeit the last one disappointingly so. One so-so election and 30 by-elections (averaging a respectable percentage of the vote, remember the lower % of the vote BNP got wherever they stood in the last GE?) is not enough to state whether or not they are stagnating, but it is enough to say that (for the time being) they are rising, or at least their support is (damn FPTP!).

'The visit to the USA will actually generate more finance from supporters than spent. Why else do you think he would go there?'

Sheer desperation. Hasn't he told you that the UK donations are rapidly drying up? - They aren't.

Nice one, UAF - U ALL FAIL - UAF!

Membership numbers rising, Nick's US visit brings massive financial support, UK donations continue to flow in unabated..

None of this happens to be true, but how brave & persistant of you to keep insisting that it is.

Remember, JT knew a thing or two about failure, and we can all learn something from him now.

When you're no longer even remotely in the lead, you've got to just keep on & not let the bastards get to you.

(I mean, the bastards on this website, among many others...)
