Don't pander to the BNP

It’s bad enough that the BNP will be on the streets of Liverpool spouting their bile next month [though click here for one way it could be stopped]. What makes it doubly hard to stomach is the fact that ordinary, decent Merseysiders are being inconvenienced to accommodate them.

The British National Party will be leafleting in the city centre on March 14 – the day Everton are scheduled to take on Stoke City at Goodison Park. Merseyside Police are unwilling to attempt to police both events at once, so the Premiership clash has been hastily rescheduled for the following day.

It’s simply unfair.

Football fans get heartily sick of fixture changes to suit the TV money moguls who essentially own the game. The TV firms pay the big bucks that pay the big wage bills and, like it or not, they demand the matches are played when it suits them and their armchair audience.

They often switch at short notice and can have a real impact on family life and work shifts. Season ticket holders, in particular, get a raw deal.

It is testimony to the liberal nature of this country’s lawmakers that the BNP are allowed to peddle their dubious politics, almost at will. Especially as their presence usually attracts the hard-line anti-Nazi brigade whose own tactics can create sickening violence when the two groups collide.

Sadly we appear to pander to the negative forces and we just cannot see why that should be the case.

Everton’s game has been set in the fixture list since last summer. Plans have been made. The BNP announced their intentions in January. They are the latecomers to this particular and potentially unpleasant party.

Surely Liverpool’s police and civic leaders should have told the leafleters straight: Another day ... or, better still, another city.

Nice headline from the Echo though I didn't go much on the bit blaming anti-nazis for the violence that sometimes occurs.

No, I didn't approve of that bit myself but the article was worth putting up for the headline alone.

Don't forget to sign the petition. :-)

"the Premiership clash has been hastily rescheduled for the following day"

That will have done the BNP absolutely NO favours at all. There's going to be a lot of pissed-off people around on the 14th. The BNP had better keep their heads down.

Excuse the pun but it looks like an own goal by the BNP here. Fans are going to be rightly angry about this.

Or they could just have told the BNP to fuck off!

But this is why the special branch agents in the Liverpool Bnp picked this date. It's so obvious what's going on.

Might not be a bad idea moving the game back. Many BNP supporters in Stoke might have come for a long day out combining the game & BNP wankfest

Good comment from Steve Farley of NWTUC in Earth Times

"The TUC do not believe the BNP should be welcome in our city or our region. It is disgraceful that Everton fans find themselves forced to watch their team on a Sunday in order for the BNP to march in our city on the Saturday. Over 35,000 football fans are being put out for the sake of a few hundred BNP members."

I see Stormfront is getting just a bit angry

"It's blatantly obvious what they are trying to do here.

Tell the brain-dead, moronic, drooling sheeple that they can't have their weekly fix of bread and circuses, then subtly blame it on the nasty BNP.

Cue thousands of aforementioned imbeciles screaming and crying because they can't see 'their' team of wogs and spicks booting a piece of plastic around the field."

Imbeciles? Sheeple? And they wonder why they're not supported by the vast majority of the population.

Its no wonder these vermin get nowhere when you read that.

Bloody disgusting.

This really is a massive own goal by the BNP. Check this out.

"Everton Forced To Switch Stoke City Fixture Date Due To BNP Rally

The date of the Toffees' game with Stoke City is set to be switched due to its clashing with a political rally in the city of Liverpool.

Everton club officials are reportedly fuming over the decision by Merseyside police to compel the club to switch the date of their Premier League fixture with Stoke City due to a political rally taking place on the same day.
What angers the club even more, according to British broadsheet The Guardian, is the fact that the rally is being organised by far-right neo-fascist party the BNP (British National Party), a minority group whose extremist views on immigration and nationality are generally perceived as racist and bigoted by the vast majority of the British population.

The fixture has been moved from Saturday, March 14 to the day after to accommodate the BNP march, organised for Saturday afternoon in the city centre. Matchday revenue is set to be severely reduced and many fans who live away from Liverpool itself will now have to alter travel and accommodation plans.

"We have had complaints from fans that the BNP supporters have been put before Everton supporters," the club's head of Public Relations, Ian Ross, told The Guardian.

"This is a matter for Merseyside police to comment on and not Everton Football Club. In the interests of public safety we had no option but to accept the change of date. The first priority is public safety and Merseyside police are taking that into account."

It is understood that the police asked the BNP to alter the date of their march but the request was refused, putting the onus onto Everton. Chief Superintendent Steve Watson, the area commander for Liverpool North explained, "There were several events scheduled for Saturday, 14 March, which would have required intensive policing.

"If they had all taken place at the same time, it would have placed extraordinary pressures on demand and would have affected the ability to police those events effectively."

Everton fans are reportedly enraged by the decision, which they see as according political extremists more rights than decent football fans. This view was succinctly expressed by TUC (Trades Union Congress) representative Steve Farley, whose organisation are vehemently opposed to the BNP and will campaigning against the rally, when he said, "It is disgraceful that Everton fans find themselves forced to watch their team on a Sunday in order for the BNP to march in our city on the Saturday. Over 35,000 football fans are being put out for the sake of a few hundred BNP members."

Zack Wilson, Goal.com"

Look at that line

"It is understood that the police asked the BNP to alter the date of their march but the request was refused"

That is really winding people up. What a major fuck-up. They'll be lucky if theyre all not kicked to death on the day buy irate footie fans!

I was going to comment on this BNP own goal but I'm having too much fun thinking about the BNP's other screw ups.

As they rant and rave about their sevenoaks "success" Jesus wept!!!
I can just see Mark collett and Nick griffin talking about this

Collett. " One swallow doesnt make a summer Nick"

Griffin. "Shut up and keep sucking"

Shudder the thought.

So this week they have managed to alienate a considerable amount of potential voters with the Liverpool march and have convinced the idiotic members that they are still a political force to be reckoned with because they have managed one councillor out of 56 in sevenoaks and 47 councillors out of 22,350 in the UK.

They really are quite a monumental screw up of a party

I see some bigoted Everton fan is trying to defend the decision..... by going completely off kilter
"I'd like to think the racist and fascist remarks are leaned towards the police and our current government here???

Otherwise I'd suggest you take a look at the current situation this country is in under this government and then go have a read of BNPs policies before slandering the legal polical party named BNP. If they were racist as some people 'assume' they would be banned."

Thus showing the BNP's contempt for everyone but its own. Scum that they are.

Looks like Bonkers Barnes has been at the wacky baccy again

"The silent earthquake hit the South-East of England in the middle of the night,
its epicentre located in the St. Mary’s area of Swanley in Kent.

Damage from the event though was confined solely to the system of corrupt and
cosy consensus politics that afflicted the ivory towers of Sevenoaks District
Council.

The polished marble walls of the towers of the local council buildings were seen
to rock and shake as news of the local election result came in.

As the streets literally convulsed with joy, cracks could be seen shivering
their way through the shining façade of the council buildings, revealing the
black stains of canker and rot that had eaten into the very fabric of the
buildings over the many decades of betrayal that had misfallen them.

Amidst the wreckage of the council building the mournful wails of the distraught
council tax funded sybarites and simpering catemites of the establishment
councillors could be heard rising to the misty moon, as a wolf howl lifts upon
the rising wind.

Through the night they ran these functionaries of the Servile State, beating at
their plump breasts and pulling at their hair, fearful of the evil that had
managed to penetrate their vile, perverse temple dedicated to the pursuit of
their sordid pleasures.

They feared that the eyes of the people would now see them amidst their shadow
realms and discover all the myriad petty, perverse, little crimes they had
committed since their masters had taken control of the council.

The councillors had most to fear. These were the bloodsuckers, the vampires of
the public purse, a class of parasites whose entire existence was predicated
upon exploiting the people themselves. Masters of the sybarites and catemites,
the councillors of the establishment parties demanded that the people serve them,
rather than they serve the people. They resided in perpetual darkness and
twilight, night crawlers, always seeking the shadows where none may see their
sins and perversions.

For these denizens of the darkness it were as if the sun has begun to shine at
night in place of the moon.

Its light scorched their skin and blistered their sticky clawed fingers, whose
fingernails black as cemetary spiders, constant skittered and scuttled ever
seeking coin.

Now all their scams, plans, tricks and lies could now no longer be hidden away
and denied.

Into the council chamber loped the BNP wolf, and see how they cringe and growl
these dogs before it.

They are repelled by the intruder these night breed, just as ugliness is
repelled by beauty.

They fear the light these creatures of the establishment, for its presence
frightens them and sickens them, as in its glorious illumination their inherent
ugliness is revealed in all its debased entirety.

The bells of churches now rang out across slumbering England, as frenzied
pederasts in frocks pull at pendulous bell ropes and with frantic peals seek to
warn their fellow criminals who hide like them behind the cross and the cloth.

The armies of paedophiles and sinners stir in their sleep, then rise screaming
from their dreams to find their nightmares had become real.

They knew that the levelling of the land had begun.

Those creatures that had adorned themselves with the trappings of sanctity and
power in order to molest purity, innocence and youth now felt fear, for they
knew that soon they would be hanging as fruits of liberty from lamp posts in
their city, town and village streets, where ravens will gather in raucous
congregations to feast upon their bones.

As a subterranean serpent rumbling deep within the land, the earthquake
slithered swiftly towards the city of London.

Onwards the groaning earth moved, even unto the Palace of Westminster itself.

A peregrine falcon perched upon its roof could be seen at midnight gorging on
the heart of a freshly slaughtered rat, its blood and entrails dripping down the
battlements and staining the rock red.

From the balconies of the House Of Lords a host of fat pigeons suddenly fell
dead from their roosts, their feathers drifting on the wind in frantic flurries.
They had choked on the poisonous contents of their bulbous crops.

Nearby in Buckingham Palace a dreaming Queen awoke from her sleep and reached
forth once more to reclaim her surrendered crown and sceptre."

He really IS mad, isn't he.

Simon Darby, master of media manipulation, is trying to regain ground.
"As I suspected yesterday the story concerning the rescheduling by the police of the Everton vs Stoke City fixture has been twisted and contorted into a crude political attack on the BNP by a local newspaper."
Of course it has. The BNP has no idea of how angry locals are, thanks to the idiocy of the BNP.

There are lots of football forums out there online, join them and spread the word.
When was the last time a football match had to be moved because of a "political action" request. Get onto the local and national football phone ins and kick up a stink. We do the same when we find a venue that are willing to host the BNP under whatever name they choose to use.
Everton and Stoke need to come out with some strong condemnation as does the rest of the football community.

Everton should sue the BNP for loss of earnings. The fans should send bills for any costs incurred for change in accommodation/travel etc to the BNP.

There seems to be a lot of fanciful ideas no doubt well meaning but the police moved the date not the BNP.

'There seems to be a lot of fanciful ideas no doubt well meaning but the police moved the date not the BNP.'

The police moved the date of the match simply because the BNP refused to change the date of the rally.

'Everton should sue the BNP for loss of earnings. The fans should send bills for any costs incurred for change in accommodation/travel etc to the BNP.'

And why not? All this fucking about will have cost a lot of people a lot of money, thanks to the bloody BNP. Certainly, the clubs should sue the buggers. There's a good chance of winning if the BNP has Bonkers Barnes defending!
