As over 150 people crammed into a hall in Leicestershire to to tentatively make the first moves to setting up a rival party, Nick Griffin and fewer than 50 friends celebrated the BNP's annual fundraising dinner.The worst turnout since the Trafalgar Club was launched reflects the dwindling support Griffin has in the party. While several hundred were entitled to attend only a handful bothered to turn up.
At least they could all get in the photo.

'Friends'? The BNP are such that every one of its number wants to be in control and wants the parasitic lifestyle currently enjoyed by Nicholas John Griffin. Everyone wants to be Fuhrer. Think Thatcher's infighting Tories of the 80s, or even Ukip with their umpteen different leaders and ideological splits.
And what about all these fascist friendly hotels only too pleased to shoot themselves in the foot by hosting their conferences? To be expected with the New Kimberley maybe, but the number of them around Leicester should be investigated.

Any report on the Leicestershire meeting? I understand NG was hoping the 'troublemakers' would decide to form a new party.
