The BNP's new Truth Trawler hits a snag

What a great week it's been for us here at Lancaster Unity with nearly all original, reader-generated articles and a good many comments too. We have another couple of Iliacus articles on the BNP's accounts to go yet, to round off the excellent and comprehensive series that has been produced so far.

In the background, the BNP is quietly and repeatedly shooting itself in the foot as it prepares for its worst-ever Red, White and Blue booze-fest - though no booze is allowed to be sold on site this year, thanks to the denial of the appropriate licence by a more sensible than usual local authority. This should ease the on-site tension, enabling the BNP to avoid the usual fights (which last year involved Mark Collett and led directly to the resignations of former deputy-leader Scott McLean and the party's bright new hope Andrew Spence). Still, though the RWB doesn't have booze this year, it does have traditional English food like, as Simon Darby tells us, panini. Er, yes.

We thought we'd round off the week with style and another reader contribution. The picture above was sent to us by - well, we'd best call him 'Anon' - who thought we might be interested in the fate of the BNP's Truth Trawler. Apologies for the alliteration (I know it's not really a trawler) but it fits in nicely with the current £30,000 appeal for the Truth Truck and the up and coming £12m appeal for the Truth Train. Thanks, Anon. :-)

Whilst I some feeling and sympathy for the boat, I find it very disapointing that there is no "Chum" or groundbait in the water provoking these sharks into a feeding frenzy.

Do you think that anon of the photo shop could provide same, and a montage of Cyclops, and his sanity challenged supporters throwing one of the "Rebels" into the 'Oggin to test the appitite of the sharks?

It would make an Old Sailor very happy.

But I thought they were getting around the booze ban at RWB by selling beer mats at £2 and throwing in a 'free' can of lager?

That's throwing in as a prelude to throwing up !!!

Does the refusal of a drinks licence mean that alcohol cannot be consumed on said land wether purchased, or not?

Not only have the wheels fallen off the BNP bandwagon. It's hit an iceberg.

Not even "Odin himself" can save Nick Griffin from total collapse, even if the BNP is, as many people expect, to become a fully-fledged Odinist religious cult.

As for the Reverend West, do your loyalties lie with Jesus Christ or a mythical Norse god?
